Hi everyone,
In our quest to attain the fullness of Christ in our soul and body, let us not forget the Holy Spirit as I emphasised yesterday. The purpose of all these things is that we cannot relate to God properly without the Holy Spirit. I said yesterday that there are Sons of God who do not make use of the abilities of the Holy Spirit properly in our daily lives, today, my focus today is still on Romans 8, but this time verses 26 and 27 which says,
“So too the [Holy] Spirit comes to our aid and bears us up in our weaknesses; for we do not know what prayer to offer nor how to offer it worthily as we ought, but the Spirit Himself goes to meet our supplication and pleads in our behalf with unspeakable yearnings and groanings too deep for utterance. And He Who searches the hearts of men knows what is in the mind of the [Holy] Spirit [what His intent is], because the Spirit intercedes and pleads [before God] in behalf of the saints according to and in harmony with God’s will.” AMP.
Looking at these verses, and looking at what I wrote yesterday, taking God as our Father when we get things wrong by asking Him where we got it wrong and what we are to do, it is clear that we cannot do that without the Holy Spirit. This, therefore, emphasises Jesus’ statement, for, without Me, you can do nothing, (ref.: John 15:5). The Holy Spirit is so important and we shouldn’t forget that He is God and He lives in us.
As Sons of God, your Spirit is completely pure and transformed, but your soul is being transformed, and the mind, will, and emotion is embedded in the soul, which is why Sons of God could sometimes add the untransformed part when speaking with God, and we must understand that the untransformed part of us is without faith, and this doesn’t please God which is why as we yield ourselves more and more to God with the Holy Spirit’s direction we allow a language which cannot be understood by man’s understanding to speak through, this is speaking in tongues. To speak in tongues comes for many the moment they receive the Holy Spirit, but for some, it comes later, it comes to letting go and allowing the Holy Spirit take over.
As the Holy Spirit takes over, the Holy Spirit who knows our heart and what we want intercedes on our behalf which is in harmony with God’s will. Do not forget that your citizenship changed the moment you became a Son of God, so act like one here on earth and not like the world.
May the LORD bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you. May the LORD be gracious to you and lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. AMEN.
Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!
