Miraculous Power Through Praise

Everyone in one way or another needs a miracle, which could be in the form of healing, financial breakthrough, family bonding, marriage intervention, and more. So, many times we pray, or even cry when these issues seem to have gotten out of hand. Well, one may say you can't blame them. But my question which is directed to the Sons and Daughters of God is this, are you doing all these in faith?

Before you jump at me saying I don't understand what they are going through, I understand because I also have had my share of frustrations in life, with tears. But what the Bible says we should live and walk by faith and not by sight, (ref.: Romans 1:17; 2 Corinthians 5:7; Galatians 3:11; Hebrews 10:38).

So, what is my point here?

My point here is that miracles can only be accessed through praise and thanksgiving. When we bring our concerns to the Lord, the Lord God on the other hand reminds us through the scriptures that all our concerns have been answered through the finished work of our Lord Jesus Christ. So, our focus won't be on asking, because we are now Sons and Daughters of God, and being a Son or Daughter of God implies that you have the fullness of Christ Jesus as an inheritance as the free gift of salvation. But in many cases, we don't see our prayers being answered despite knowing that we have received them in Christ Jesus. So, what are we to do, praise and thank God.

Thanksgiving is an act of faith that you stand on and have received what Jesus has done for you. Praise, on the other hand, shifts our focus from the distractions of this world onto God/Jesus. And as we keep on focusing on Jesus, we without knowing it, strengthen our faith in Jesus. and we eventually see the physical manifestation of what Jesus has done for us because we eventually align ourselves with the grace of God.

The absence of continuous praise and thanksgiving is to give room for the distractions of this world.

As Sons and Daughters of God, what we receive from God are miracles, but divine favour, because of His grace. He has given us all things pertaining to life and godliness (ref.: 2 Peter 1:2-3), so it is left to us to activate through the positive acceptance of His grace (all that He has given to us as an inheritance of the free gift of salvation in Christ Jesus). And we must always remember this.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!

Adam and the Tree of Life

Jesus is seen as the last Adam. And for Him to be known as the last implies that there is a first Adam. So, quickly go back to the book of Genesis and take a closer look at the life of Adam.

Adam, the first man created by God was placed in the Garden of Eden to live and tend it. God placed two trees in the garden, which are the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. God then told Adam that he could eat of all the trees except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. This was so serious because, God said that, of the day he ate off that tree he would die.

Now, God knows all things and has given man free moral agency, where he has the freedom of choice. God had provided the way to redeem man, knowing the choice Adam was going to make, that's where Jesus came in as the last Adam.

But my focus in today's write-up is to ask the very important question, which is, what would have happened to humanity if Adam ate of the tree of life?

To go into the detail of the answer, let's take a look at what happened to man when Adam ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

When Adam ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, he died immediately. Death here meant a spiritual death. Adam detached himself from what was sustaining his life, and that was God. Adam just withered off as time passed till completely gone. Before that, he had offspring, who sadly were like his fallen nature, not having life.

Romans 5:12 says, "When Adam sinned, the entire world was affected. Sin entered human experience, and death was the result. And so death followed this sin, casting its shadow over all humanity, because all have sinned." TPT.

Now, what would have happened to man if Adam ate of the tree of life and not of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, would have been that Adam would have been translated into the fulness of Christ as we know it now. And every child born of him and on and on would have been born of God from birth.

The tree of life symbolises Christ Jesus, Himself. And don't forget Jesus is God Himself. Adam would have had God living on the inside of Him.

Even though God has given us free moral agency, He always gives us the answer to life's puzzles. He shows us the way to follow but lives the choice for us to make.

We must always ask the Lord God to lead us in other not to fall victim to the devil's plans. Our focus really shouldn't be knowing the devil's plans, rather our focus should be on how well we know our Lord Jesus. The more we know Him, the more we manifest the fulness of Him, which would allow us to spot a counterfeit whenever we see one because we are used to the original and true Jesus Christ.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t? Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!

His Words and Your Consistency

In my last write-up, I wrote on one of the two masters that man chooses to serve. My point here after establishing the truth that Sons and Daughters of God are expected to serve the Lord Jesus Christ is that despite being told the right way to go, the choice still lies in the hands of man as God has given mankind free moral agency.

So, what is my point here?

The words of Jesus are the words of God because Jesus is God. And Jesus lives in us through the power of the Holy Spirit.

As Jesus resurrected, He resurrected into glory. He became the fulness of man, the height man is expected to attain. And all that He is, every Son or Daughter has inherited the fulness of Jesus, all of who Jesus is. This is why Sons and Daughters of God should look speak who their inheritance and not what they see.

The devil brings deception our way. It is only those who know who Jesus is that won't be deceived.

We are all growing into Christ from the physical realm, but we already have the fulness of Christ already in our Spirit, which we inherited. We are to confess Jesus into every situation we are in for strength. You either have what you say, or say what you have.

Faith is saying who Jesus is in your Spirit as real and who we are, and not holding on to the lies and deception the devil.

If what is felt doesn't conform who Jesus is, we then confess who Jesus is, the complete state of our fulness, thereby releasing our fulness into the now, thus resting on Jesus.

Sometimes what we confess in Christ may not take effect immediately which may cause discouragement, and thus making us look elsewhere. What we never knew is that as long as our confessions were in name of Jesus, it came to pass.

When Jesus replied the fig tree in Mark 11:12-14, 20-21, saying to it that no one would ever eat from it again, it was the next morning that the disciples noticed that it had dried up from its root.

The moment you say a thing, you are either speaking death or life to that thing (ref.: Proverbs 18:21), especially when it is spoken in the name of Jesus.

It is like a seed when planted, and must be nurtured. With He power of consistency, we see what we've spoken come to pass (ref.: James 1:5-8).

When you confess the name of Jesus into any situation, being led by the Holy Spirit, hold on to the confession as that which is already done. Consistently give God praise and thanks on the matter as a done deal. Strengthen yourself with scriptures allows you to hold on to your confession, before you know it, you'll see the manifestation.

The Two Masters But One

In one of my write-ups, I explained that every decision in life rests on "Yes" and "No". To say that would mean that whatever we do would warrant either a "Yes" or a "No". And this leads to my focus for today.

There are two masters Jesus spoke of, and we who are here on earth can choose which master we prefer to be under. As Jesus said, we cannot serve both but just one. And who are these masters?

Let's take a look at Matthew 6:24, “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon." God and mammon are the two masters.

I want you to calm down and reflect on what I'm about to write. Now, can you eat food with money determining what to buy, and how far you can buy? Can you buy clothes without money telling you how far you can buy? It is so serious, that you really cannot do anything without money deciding what to do. This doesn't mean that money is bad.

What has happened since the fall of Adam is that man gave the authority of wealth to Mammon. Mammon has since decided how man should have access to wealth, through toiling which wasn't so of what God asked Adam to do.

God told Adam to tend the Garden, while in plenty. But since the fall, mammon has been the one the place of authority.

Jesus came and established that He made us understand that we can be redeemed of the bondage of mammon.

This is better established in the resurrection of our Lord Jesus, who has made us understand that all authority in heaven and earth has been given to Him. This includes the power of wealth. But then again, it is left to us to decide whom we want to serve, even though it is clear now that Jesus has no match.

So, what does this mean for us, especially we who are Sons and Daughters of God?

Money under the authority of Mammon decides how far we can go. But should this be the same for Sons and Daughters of God?

The question for Sons and Daughters of God is whose authority are they under? Sons and Daughters of God are under the authority of Christ Jesus. And to be under the authority of Jesus Christ is to be under His words.

As Sons and Daughters of God are led by Jesus through the Holy Spirit, we are to trust His every word. What does this mean?

We (Sons and Daughters of God), don't live the way the world does, even in their conclusions, but through the leading of the Holy Spirit.

We should not forget that Christ Jesus is Truth Himself, doesn't lie, has the best plan and purpose for our lives, and wants us to prosper and be in health, (ref.: John 14:6; Numbers 23:19; Jeremiah 29:11; 3 John 1:2). With this, we should always go with the flow of the Holy Spirit (the Spirit of Jesus).

Our focus should never be about money, but about what the Lord Jesus said. As long as He said it, and we believe it, it is a done deal. Everything would come in line to ensure the word of God comes to pass. This is the very thing we must take note of.

So, the word of God and NOT money is our means of currency.

Do You Believe?

Belief is something that cannot be separated from the characteristics of a true Son or Daughter of God. But what belief am I writing of? It is the belief in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Without the belief in Christ Jesus, no one can call his or herself a Son or Daughter of God. This is where the transformation takes place.

What is my point focus here?

To say you believe in Christ Jesus is to know that He is God and that you believe Him as God (because He is God).

The question here is, do you believe Him? Do you believe what He says? Do you take what He says as final?

When Jesus speaks to us through His word and the interpretation of the Holy Spirit, do we take what He says as all that there is?

As Sons and Daughters of God, the words of God through Christ Jesus are expected to be to us as "Yes and Amen," without any second thought or alternative. Our trust in Him should have no plan B. This is how much we who call ourselves the Sons and Daughters of God are meant to live. Mainly because we believe in Him and we carry His Spirit.

If we have any doubt over what He said due to logic, then why did we receive Him into our lives? We must be sincere and loyal to Him even as we grow in grace and the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Do not forget, that He is not a man that should lie. His name is Truth. He knows the end from the beginning. He all knows things, and He created us. And He wants the best for us, far above what we ask or think.

Do you believe Him?

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t? Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!
