Without Unity, There Is No Transformation

Happy New week everyone,

When we look at the human body or an organisation, there is something called teamwork which is very important in order to achieve a specific goal. For the body, every cell receives a command from the brain in order to perform, there is the form of unity where nothing goes out of place, there is order as there is a function each cell, tissue, and organ is to perform. The same goes for everyone who are sons and daughters of God.

Romans 12:4 -5 says, “For as in one physical body we have many parts (organs, members) and all of these parts do not have the same function or use, so we, numerous as we are, are one body in Christ (the Messiah) and individually we are parts one of another [mutually dependent on one another].” AMP. The Message version says, “In this way we are like the various parts of a human body. Each part gets its meaning from the body as a whole, not the other way around. The body of chosen people. Each of us finds our meaning and function as a part of his body. But as a chopped-off finger or cut-off toe we wouldn’t amount to much, would we?”

Within the body of Christ, no matter what function or ability we operate on, we have to understand that we all have a common goal, in other words, Mr. A’s function at a point could require assisting Mr. B to achieve his mission. To make that clearer, a man is not an island and with that, we need each other to function as a team in achieving the collective goal even with our individual mission. It really doesn’t make any sense where there would be competition or disunity among ourselves, but sadly this is seen in the ecclesiastical organisational body of the church. If this happens, it implies we have no proper understanding of what our mission is, because we really need to work together, or hasn’t it occurred to you that we are the ones Jesus sent to save the world. Yes, He has paved the way for us through His resurrection, it is left to us to continue from where He stopped as He has given us the great commission before He went to heaven, therefore we know what to do.

Again Romans 8:19 says, “For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.” If the world is not transformed it is because the church is not doing its job. Jesus ensured that He gave those He came across a taste of perfection and we are to continue in His footstep to unleash heaven on earth, now that we have the fullness of Christ in us. If there is no unity in the body of Christ then there won’t be transformation here on earth and it means the body of Christ is not focused which is what the devil wants, and we shouldn't allow that.

May the LORD bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you. May the LORD be gracious to you and lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. AMEN.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!

Continuous Success and Prosperity

Happy Sunday week,

Everyone in life wants to be successful and prosperous at what they do, but it happens that not everyone gets to be successful and prosperous in all they do even after creating an assumed perfect plan, but the Bible made us understand that there is a way you can always be prosperous and have good success. Joshua 1:8 says, “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.” There is a reason why Joshua 1:8 is authentic which I would elaborate today.

The Book of the Law today is now the word of God by being led by the Holy Spirit. When you meditate on the word of God day and night, it shapes your thought and decisions in life, but what makes this different from theories developed by great minds? It’s the source!

Man bases his theories on experiences which he claims worked for him, which he puts in books studied in schools, but why is the word of God different? I said, the source is what makes it different and unique, and why is that? The reason is that the word of God is not based on the experience of man. The theories of man are based on their experiences, but man doesn’t know beyond his nose, in other words, his experiences can fail and have
failed in many ways because their theory failed because a new experience came up which they haven’t seen before. But unlike the theory of man, the word of God is based on the inspiration from God, and God knows the end from the beginning, in other words, He knows everything and His whatever He has given us to follow in order to guide our ways are forever authentic to follow, which the regular theories of man doesn’t contain.

In summary, when you meditate on the word of God day and night by being led by the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit teaches you how to observe to do according to all that is written in the word of God. It is there and then that you’ll make your ways prosperous and you’ll have good success. The theories of man could work but would fail at a certain point, but the word of God can never fail and has been tested and trusted over time. The only reason why the word of God won’t work is that you didn’t observe to do all that is written in it, but when you follow all that is written in Joshua 1:8, you would be prosperous and you would have good success always.

From Condemnation to Acceptance

Happy weekend everyone,

When something is condemned, it becomes a thing that has no use anymore, a thing that is abandoned and should be forgotten. This was the state Adam put himself and the whole world after eating of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. But despite being in the state of condemnation, God still loved us and was going to save us, which happened through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. I keep repeating this summary of what God did for us, over and over again so that we fully understand what God did for us through Jesus.

Romans 8:1-2 says, “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.” By being under Christ Jesus, you are under a brand new life, just the way a branch is cut off a tree and is being grafted to another tree, the life source of the branch now comes from the new tree and not the old one anymore.

Condemnation was placed upon the old generation founded by the first Adam. But the last Adam—Jesus Christ was and is perfect before God with no flaws whatsoever, as He fulfilled every requirement given by God. This is why John 3:18 says, “He who believes in Him [Jesus] is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”

The verse above means that everyone is born into the life of condemnation because it is the foundation laid by the first Adam. Now, having the right of choice, we would choose if we want to live the life of condemnation we found ourselves or move to a brand new life with Jesus becoming our Lord and life; and life in the sense that His life of no condemnation becomes our very existence and not the life from the first Adam any longer. So, what are the key things we must do to acknowledge our coming under the Lordship of Jesus? Log on tomorrow, same time.

God Created Everything Perfect

 Hello everyone,

We all want a better life, well I’m not referring to finance, what I’m referring to is good health without any disabilities. To further buttress my point, let’s look at John 9:1-5:

“Now as Jesus passed by, He saw a man who was blind from birth. And His disciples asked Him, saying, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him. I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”

We see many people who have disabilities in different ways, or infirmities, diseases, and sicknesses, and we conclude that it is God who makes people disabled or with infirmities but this is not true, so if this isn’t true, how did all these happen?

First of all, we must remember that God called all His creation perfect in Genesis 1, it was until Adam ate of the forbidden fruit that He gave over His control of the world to the devil. It was the sinful nature that brought about the chaos into the world. However, through the shedding of blood from a perfect man-Jesus, there was the remission of sin, in order words Jesus came to save mankind from the chaos that the Adam put the world into, which was why in John 9:4a and 5, He said, “I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day… As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”

Jesus came to transform the world, first by becoming the sacrifice that led to saving the world, He raised disciples who He gave authority to go and make disciples of all nation and to transform the lives of people, bringing them back to the way God intended them to be.

Jesus has made those who are born of God salt and light of the world [ref.: Matthew 5:13-16] as He was while He was here on earth, in order words, we are to give sight to the blind, cast out demons from those who are oppressed, heal those who have infirmities and other things that are related to these. Whoever we see suffering from any form of disability that needs healing or care who comes our way, we are to express the practical love of Christ towards the person, we have been given the authority of Christ for us to put to use here on earth.

Matthew 5:16 says, “Let your light so shine before men that they may see your moral excellence and your praiseworthy, noble, and good deeds and recognise and honour and praise and glorify your Father Who is in heaven.” AMP. So, think of it, what moral excellence or good deeds would you display that would make people praise God for, praying at home? No, it would be a practical display of you transforming the lives of people positively.

God did not create anyone with disabilities or infirmities, it is the sinful nature which brought all form of chaos upon the world. God is merciful and just, and He has placed all these in those born of God to express this to the world while here on earth.

Be Sincere With Yourself

 Hello everyone,

Many of us pray to God and expect answers to our prayers, but there are times we don’t get any answers to our prayers and we wonder if God really cared. I used to face this same challenge in my life at a point in time, I felt God’s rules were too much that I couldn’t identify what He wanted me to do that would allow Him to answer my prayer. It wasn’t until He used the farmer’s story before I understood God always wanted to answer my prayers but I was the one who stood in His way. So what is this farmer’s story?

A farmer picked a particular seed which He would take about six months before its harvest after planting, but six months after planting the farmer was not even close to harvest, what went wrong? The farmer did not make up his mind on where he wanted to plant his seed. Sometimes, he would plant the seed at a spot and tomorrow he would dig up the seed and plant it at another spot, feeling that spot was better for it. He did this many times during the six months period that the seed didn’t germinate properly and wasn’t growing well, and why was that? It was because the farmer kept interrupting growth process of the crop he planted. It very simple, there won’t be growth for the crop until the farmer makes up his mind where he wants to plant the crop and leaves it there, likewise, there won’t be answers to our prayers until we are sincere with ourselves when we tell God something.

There are times we would tell God we would do a thing at a particular period but we eventually do not do so. What we fail to realise is that our actions serve as seeds to the result we want to get. If we don’t make up our mind about a thing, how would God take you seriously? So, it is not because God doesn’t want to bless you, but it is you who have prevented Him from answering your prayer.

God doesn’t answer prayers of His children until they make up their mind. There is a reward for consistency which is the answered prayer. Periods differ from each other, but no matter the period of time, we must be consistent to the end at a particular request made.

Faith requires consistency, you cannot continue to toss to and fro with your faith. God cannot answer without you being serious about what you want. Proverbs 22:29 says, “Do you see a man who excels in his work? He will stand before kings; he will not stand before unknown men.” What does this mean? Don’t expect to get a result if you are consistent with a particular thing, in this case, a thing well done. For God, being sincere to ourselves is what He wants to see. We should say a thing and do a different thing and expect to get a result, from which one?

Paul in addressing the Corinthians spoke of how the church grew in a region, he said, He planted, while Apollos another apostle watered and it was then God gave the increase [ref.: 1 Corinthians 3:6]. Why? It was because God was sure about what they wanted. God did not create this earth to operate in a state of anarchy, which would imply that God set certain laws governing this earth.

Also, there are times God wants us to get mature in certain areas before He grants us answers to our prayers. And don’t it wrong, He has given us a counselor to guide us till perfection, He has also appointed certain people ordained by Him to bring us up to speed to know God through faith, He would never leave us alone.

So, if you pray to God over a thing and you aren’t seeing any result, before you start to complain to God, check yourself if you’ve been true to your words, so as to give God a clear view of your request. He is always there to answer us, you just have to be sincere with yourself and to God.

Our Righteousness and Justice in the Light

Hi everyone,

In one of my write-ups, I wrote on why commitment and trust is key, which has to do with getting the desires of your heart. But what we must know is that we don’t serve a God who just gives the desires of our heart because we were committed to Him and put our trust in Him, no; we serve a God who takes good care of us as His children, of which we actually are His children. When we put our lives in the hands of God, we allow the best come to us, because it is always the best God offers. Psalm 37:6 says, “He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday.”

Now, Psalms 37:6 says, the Lord would bring forth your righteousness, but we understand that our righteousness before God is like a filthy rag. So, what righteousness was David referring to? He was referring to God’s righteousness, who is Jesus. Psalms 37:5 talks of us committing our ways to the Lord and trusting also in Him, which would imply giving ourselves to Him. And by giving ourselves to Him we receive His righteousness who becomes our life and lifestyle. So, our life which is righteous, not by our effort, but as a gift is brought forth as the light, and justice as the noonday. This also goes to show that for God to do this implies you are now in right standing with Him.

The Word and Your Destiny

 Hello everyone,

I have said several times that Man became blind when he fell in the Garden of Eden and raised generations to live in darkness. It wasn’t until the coming of Jesus that those who believed and received Him as Lord could see again. Psalm 119:105 says, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” King David understood the importance of the word of God. There is not just a path to walk in, there is a path which is yours that each Son of God is meant to identify using the word of God and is meant to walk in that path. But have you identified yours? If you have, are you walking in it? These are key questions that need answers today.

The way of the Lord and the way of the world could appear very similar that if care is not taken you could pick the wrong one as your way. There are Sons of God who are in this world to earn a living, just as the world does, whereas you already have a life and a ‘job’ which God gave every Son of God respectively. But you won’t know if you don’t walk closely with God by meditating on the scriptures, with the interpretation from the Holy Spirit. This is where some Sons of God haven’t gotten which is very important.

Now, to those who have found their path, are you walking in it? The truth is that Jesus brought light to the world filled with darkness, as He Himself is the light of the world. As Sons of God, having His Spirit, we also are salt and light of the world (ref.: Matthew 5:13-16), which implies that we are here to set things straight on earth. As many are walking the path of destruction, it is the duty of the Sons of God to bring those who have wandered off, to the path of truth through the light embedded in us by our Lord Jesus Christ.

Whether we like it or not Jesus is coming back again, and He keeps giving us time to gather the harvest of the lost souls through the path He has shown us to walk. The thing is we don’t know when He would come. Have you identified your path? Are you walking in it? Are you being the salt and the light to the world by doing EXACTLY what He called you for, and not what you see the world doing? We were not sent here to follow the routine of the world, but we have been sent to specific places to carry out His mandate which the Holy Spirit would interpret to you after you meditate on the word of God. This is very important because when Jesus comes back, He would ask you about the mandate He assigned to you. Our focus here on earth is not to drive the best cars or fill our bank account with money; focusing on these things is focusing with the mindset of the world, like the way the world does things. The Lord provides things for us to carry out His mission here on earth, and not to show off by giving misplaced testimony in church service about what God has given you without you knowing that it was given to you for a purpose. Don’t get this wrong, for there is no excuse.

He Lives Through Us

 Hello everyone,

Recently, I’ve emphasised on the truth that only God knows our plans and purposes for our lives, and we are to draw near to Him through receiving Jesus as Lord of our lives in order to know what God’s plans and purposes are for us. But as we receive Jesus as our Lord, who becomes our life, we shouldn’t think God is asking us to live for Him, as this is a sort of dictatorial and doesn’t sound like love. So, what kind of life is God expressing towards if He isn’t asking us to live for Him?

Galatians 2:20 says, “I have been crucified with Christ [in Him I have shared His crucifixion]; it is no longer I who live, but Christ (the Messiah) lives in me; and the life I now live in the body I live by faith in (by adherence to the reliance on and complete trust in) the Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself up for me.” AMP. What we need to understand is that becoming born is actually being born again, which implies that you have a completely different life.

To live a brand new life in Christ is God not asking us to live for Him, rather it is Him asking us to let Him live through us, as Galatians 2:20 says because the life we live, we live by the faith of Jesus, which we chose, thus we allowed God to live through us. Thus, the life of a Son of God is not a changed life but an exchanged life, in other words, Jesus became our life, as He took our old life away in exchange for His life.

And as we understand that Jesus is the One living through us, we allow Him to manifest Himself here on earth as we get led by the Holy Spirit.

Every Spiritual Blessing

 Happy Sunday everyone,

Do you know that God did not bless us? Let me make the statement better, do you know that God doesn’t bless us? The question is how? Let me tell you why.

First of all, I explained in a blog I wrote that God did not give us the authority directly, but because those who are in Christ benefit a hundred percent because it is Christ God gave that blessing. Now, God gave Christ these blessings on behalf of man, since Christ represented us. But my emphasis is on the level of blessings available to us in order to answer the question in the first paragraph.

Now, if a person should bless you, it implies the giver still has more left right? This is where I am going, Christ became one with God and we, in turn, would be one with Christ the moment we accept Jesus as Lord. The truth is that God did not bless us, but in order to understand in a language, we would say God blessed us. If I want to really explain what God did, it would be like, we walked right into the blessing.

This blessing doesn’t mean blessings alone, but favour, abundance and so on, beyond your imagination. To make you understand again, God emptied Himself upon us. To a lay, layman this would mean God emptied His bank account upon us with nothing left. To a man it is like blessing without thinking. This is the extent of the great love God has towards man. So when we say we want God to bless us, this doesn’t make sense because He has nothing else to give us again, why? This is because there nothing we could ever think of even to our greatest, wildest imagination that He hasn’t provided for us, why again? It is because He gave us Himself!

When the Bible says in Ephesians 1:3 which says, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ” When God has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places, what do you think this meant? It means, God gave us everything and left nothing out. Now, every spiritual blessing comes out of God, so why possess the fish than possessing the source of the fish, so God gave Himself to us because He is the source of every spiritual blessing. This is very important for us to understand, but many of us still prefer the cash, the possession, which can finish one day, why not take possession of the source of the spiritual blessings which we activate through Jesus. This is just a tip of how God loves us.

Grace and Mercy (Part 2)

Happy weekend everyone,

Last time I explained how God is so merciful even when He maintains His standards. I explained how He hates sin, but loves the sinner and would everything to get the sinner to stop the bad habit, which He did through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Also, showing a tip of His love for us, I used the woman caught in the act of adultery to explain how God’s mercy flows towards us, even as He hates the sin itself. Today is a continuation from yesterday, explaining how loving God is.

Many think to accept a person even when they falter is wrong, but they need to properly understand how God deals with matters. First of all, if God was to judge us based on performance, we would all be burnt and dead by now, because no one is perfect or righteous when it comes to performance, our righteousness when we accept Jesus as Lord is actually the righteousness of Christ which He gave to us through Grace.

What we need to understand is that if one fornicates, steals, over-drinks, lies and does many other things in this manner doesn’t make you better than them because your actions are not presentable to God, as He said not one of us is righteousness even with all the ceremonial cleansing that we feel makes us acceptable before Him [ref. Romans 3:10-18].

I remember when I was in the University, the range of score from 0-39 was regarded as ‘F’, so even when a person scores ‘39’ and another scored ‘0’, there was nothing like a strong F and a weak F, all were recorded as F, likewise, there is no small sinner and weak sinner, the Bible says in Romans 3:23, “…for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,” no one is good enough and this was what Jesus showed the men who brought the woman caught in the act of adultery, when He said, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.”

Jesus condemned the woman’s actions but did not condemn her, which was why He granted her mercy. We should show our fellow neighbours and family love by condemning their wrong actions but showing them mercy, it is only there and then that the love of Christ is revealed and understood in their heart that makes them stop the sinful act, because after Romans 3:23, it continues in verse 24 and 25 saying, “…being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.”

We must understand that God hates the sin, but He loves His children, which is why Jesus died and His blood has washed every sin, and as such we are now the righteousness of God [ref. 2 Corinthians 5:21]. We can only know, understand and receive this great grace and mercy of God when it is His love for us that we hear and then meditate on. Those who spread the word of God out should only spread the love and mercy of God which is found in the finished works of Christ.

When we keep studying and meditating on the reason for finished of works Christ, understanding how much God loved us and what we have received even when we really don’t deserve them, this is the gospel truth that transforms us on and on as we get perfected physically in line with the perfect Spirit of God, which is in those who accepted Christ as Lord. The mercy of God is so deep that we cannot fully understand it.

Those who condemn people for their wrong have no love in them or they don’t understand the love of God. The Bible says in Romans 5:20b, “But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more”, this was to show the power that the love and mercy of God through Christ has brought us. His love washes away the sinful nature physically. As you meditate on His love and mercy, you start to see your bad habits fade away because as you meditate, you are to confess who you are in Christ, and you can only receive this by surrendering to Him. You won’t understand why you have to surrender until you hear what He has done for you. This is the gospel truth.

Grace and Mercy

Hello everyone,

Many people think God is a mean being, or to put it in a less serious manner, many people see God as a very strict being, that is ready to strike you the moment you falter, wow, but is that really who God is? Let’s find out.

God cannot be referred to as strict, rather He is disciplined but yet merciful. It is this mercy people do not really see, or maybe they know but haven’t experienced it. Let’s take a look at John 8 where a woman caught in the act of adultery was brought to Jesus. Those who brought her said she was caught in the very act and should be stoned according to the Law of Moses, then they asked Him what His take was on the matter, this they did to test Him. Ordinarily, if Jesus allowed her go out of mercy, then He would have broken the Law and they would have something to hold on to, also if He asked for her to be stoned, it would be against the Roman government that ruled over them; but Jesus wasn’t trying to be smart by looking for a good way to get out this trap, instead He simply said the truth in wisdom.

Jesus replied in John 8:7, “So when they continued asking Him, He raised Himself up and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.”” It was then clear at that point that you can’t punish one of sin when you too are also the sinner, so they left. But do you know there was someone there who would have cast the stone at her? It was Jesus because He was without sin, but instead of doing that, what did He do? “When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, “Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?” she said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.” This was mercy and grace in action.

Jesus made it clear to her that He disliked her act of adultery by telling to go and sin no more, but how was she going to do that because sin was her nature? The only way she was going to sin no more was because she had seen the mercy and grace shown to her by Jesus, for John 3:17 says, “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that world through Him might be saved.”

It is the display of love, grace and mercy from God alone that can bring you out of sin into the brand new life of God through Christ Jesus. God is disciplined as He maintains His standards, but He takes us up as His own children and bring us up in love, which naturally bring out the Christ-like nature from inside ourselves, that is to those who have received Christ as Lord, and to those who haven’t, they want to know Him the more.

The mercy of God was what made God give us His grace through the love He has towards us, understanding His love is greater than what we could ever imagine. Log on tomorrow as I continue on this topic.

It All Begins With Love (Part 2)

 Hello everyone,

…continued from the last blog.

Let’s understand that when we walk in the flesh and expect the grace of God to operate through faith when we call, nothing is going to happen, does that mean our attitude must be spotless before we get anything from God? No and yes, no in the sense that it the state of our heart that defines the road we are on, if it rests on Christ, that is having the love of God as its direction, then we see the grace of God manifest in our lives; and yes because when our heart rests continuously on Christ, it then translates to our behaviour which would be just as Christ.

The faith and grace of God came out of love who is God, and if you don’t key into it, you don’t have access to it. To be selfish or self-centred is not a trait of God. God called us here to serve, to think of others first. Jesus said He who wants to be a leader should become a servant, this is faith at work because it boosts our confidence that God’s got your back, all that we ever need has been provided by Him, this is the confidence we should always display and portray wherever we go, and it takes knowing who He is who is love before we can properly understand what He has given to us and then we portray His very essence.

So, know the love of God which is everlasting and then you would properly know and understand His Grace towards us and faith is simply believing it which in turn we walk in the obedience of faith, but it all begins with love.

It All Begins With Love

 Hello everyone,

Yesterday, we talked about the importance of how we use our words because of its creative abilities and how our words have been the cause of what we experience in our daily lives. However, I also explained that once you receive Christ as Lord of your life, you gain access to the grace which God has given to us. We need to know what God has given to us through meditation which would then reshape our mind-set and utilise the powers and authority of God through Christ. The words of Christ is the most powerful words that heaven and earth bow to, but in tapping into all these which is through faith, there is something which is very important that we need to have, or else we would just be wasting our time.

If you can remember the when Jesus spoke to the fig tree that later withered, you will remember when Jesus said whatever things you ask when you pray, believe and do not doubt and you will have what you prayed for. My point here is what He said after that which is in Mark 11:25-26 which says, “And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses.” What did Jesus mean there because back then that was the language they understood because Jesus had not been glorified, so their trespasses in form of sin were still very much on them; but now that Jesus has been glorified, what does verse 25 and 26 of Mark 11 really mean? In very simple terms, it means if you don’t have the love of Christ in your heart, nothing would work for you.

When the disciples were astonished at how the tree withered completely in less than a day, Jesus said they should have faith in God, this was the first thing He said. In other words, Jesus was telling them to have the faith of God, which is what every true person who has receive Christ as Lord of their life receives, as I explained that, the faith we now use is the faith of Christ, because only the faith of Christ can truly gain access to the grace of God, but to have the faith of God/Christ in you implies you have the love in you, because God is love [ref. 1 John 4:8]. So you cannot have the love of God and still have something against someone because that is not the trait of God.

…to be continued.

Your Words and The Grace of God

Hello everyone,

In releasing the grace of God upon our lives, I've been explaining how we need to first of all believe the word of Grace with the faith of Christ, it is there and then that we would be able to get in. However, even after believing these powerful words of Grace, our words or how we speak should reflect the word of Grace which is the new covenant.

Do you know that your life is the result of the words you've been speaking? If you never knew, know it today. But there are no words as powerful as the word of God. For God to refer to His word as the sword of the spirit [ref. Ephesians 6:17], it means there is great power in His word. In Hebrews 4:12, the Bible says, "For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." This shows that the words of God are not just mere words, but are spiritual words that are alive.

Even as Jesus is the Word of God, the word He speaks are the words referred to in Hebrews 4:12. These words are the words we possess and we are to use it in our daily lives, they are filled with power and authority in all measure.

We must understand that nothing comes into our lives unless we allow it, this is the power of free moral agency or in simple terms, the power of choice. So, we should be careful with the words we speak for some of them could be harmful to us even without knowing, and as such declaring them into our being. Only speak life into your life and you will see the power at work in your life.

Speak the word of God into your life, your health, finances, your day, your clients or customers and even the persons you want to see come your way and so on. These are not mere words, why? It is because words possess creative abilities which is why using the words of Christ should be what we are to use because they are words which God has designed for us and are the perfect will for us, especially when guided by the Holy Spirit.

It is the continuous declaration of the word of God into our lives that allows us walk in its fullness. Also, remember that the Grace of God means having God reside in us, so when we speak as God speaks, we live the life God enjoys.

In shaping our words, we are to meditate on the word of God day and night, which would affect how and what we speak and in the long run reflect in our lives positively [ref. Romans 12:2; Joshua 1:8; Psalms 1:1-3]. Philippians 4:8 says, "Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report. If there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy--meditate on these things."

It has been established, that which we are to focus on. There would certainly be attacks from your surroundings trying to force you to conform to things opposing what Philippians 4:8 and the word of God says. This is where you use the word as a sword of the spirit as guided by the Holy Spirit.

The word of God is the most powerful force you can't even imagine and we have been given this as Grace in our lives. The word is Jesus and we should be privileged to have Him reside in us through the Holy Spirit. Use your words wisely.

May the LORD bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you. May the LORD be gracious to you and lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace, AMEN.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven't. Pray out loud, "Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!" Congratulations, you're born again, you are now brand new!

Manifesting God's Authority on Earth (Part 2)

Happy new week everyone,

I have been writing on how to unleash the grace of God in our lives through releasing the authority of Christ in our everyday life. Today is a continuation from yesterday’s write-up.

The seed which is the word of God which must be planted is in reference to the parable of the sower which Jesus talked about [ref. Matthew 13:3-23; Mark 4:2-20; Luke 8:4-15]; the soil represents the heart. As Jesus explained only the good soil was the best which was able to utilise the word of God properly, of which in His explanation of the good soil established some key things about the good soil which I would look at, Matthew 13:23 says, “But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, [grasps and comprehends it. AMP] who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.” Mark 4:20 says, “But these are the ones sown on good ground, those who hear the word, accept it, [receive and accepts and welcome it. AMP] and bear fruit: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred.” And last but not the least Luke 8:15 says, “But the ones that fell on the good ground are those who, having heard the word with a noble and good heart, keep it and bear fruit with patience [hold it fast in a just (noble, virtuous) and worthy heart and steadily bring fort fruit with patience. AMP].”

Based on the scripture written above, and putting all together, the one who hears the word of faith is the one who hears the word, understands it, accept it, and with patience and perseverance bear fruit. You need to go out with the word and work with it every time through meditation. The fruit represents the authority in action.

Your words are very powerful, especially when they have to do with the word of God. Jesus said His words are spirit and life, these implies that the words we speak carry power and commands anything it is directed at. Your words shape your life, it decides what you experience. Now, God has shown us how our life is supposed to be under the new covenant, these are what we need to know and declare it into our lives which affects how we speak, how we reason, this brings out the Christ in us and we see the authority of God in action.

We have control over everything in our lives, it is just by declaring who your life is, and your life is the life of Christ. Our lives is completely by faith, it is your belief that decides whatever happens to you.
