Your Words and The Grace of God

Hello everyone,

In releasing the grace of God upon our lives, I've been explaining how we need to first of all believe the word of Grace with the faith of Christ, it is there and then that we would be able to get in. However, even after believing these powerful words of Grace, our words or how we speak should reflect the word of Grace which is the new covenant.

Do you know that your life is the result of the words you've been speaking? If you never knew, know it today. But there are no words as powerful as the word of God. For God to refer to His word as the sword of the spirit [ref. Ephesians 6:17], it means there is great power in His word. In Hebrews 4:12, the Bible says, "For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." This shows that the words of God are not just mere words, but are spiritual words that are alive.

Even as Jesus is the Word of God, the word He speaks are the words referred to in Hebrews 4:12. These words are the words we possess and we are to use it in our daily lives, they are filled with power and authority in all measure.

We must understand that nothing comes into our lives unless we allow it, this is the power of free moral agency or in simple terms, the power of choice. So, we should be careful with the words we speak for some of them could be harmful to us even without knowing, and as such declaring them into our being. Only speak life into your life and you will see the power at work in your life.

Speak the word of God into your life, your health, finances, your day, your clients or customers and even the persons you want to see come your way and so on. These are not mere words, why? It is because words possess creative abilities which is why using the words of Christ should be what we are to use because they are words which God has designed for us and are the perfect will for us, especially when guided by the Holy Spirit.

It is the continuous declaration of the word of God into our lives that allows us walk in its fullness. Also, remember that the Grace of God means having God reside in us, so when we speak as God speaks, we live the life God enjoys.

In shaping our words, we are to meditate on the word of God day and night, which would affect how and what we speak and in the long run reflect in our lives positively [ref. Romans 12:2; Joshua 1:8; Psalms 1:1-3]. Philippians 4:8 says, "Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report. If there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy--meditate on these things."

It has been established, that which we are to focus on. There would certainly be attacks from your surroundings trying to force you to conform to things opposing what Philippians 4:8 and the word of God says. This is where you use the word as a sword of the spirit as guided by the Holy Spirit.

The word of God is the most powerful force you can't even imagine and we have been given this as Grace in our lives. The word is Jesus and we should be privileged to have Him reside in us through the Holy Spirit. Use your words wisely.

May the LORD bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you. May the LORD be gracious to you and lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace, AMEN.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven't. Pray out loud, "Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!" Congratulations, you're born again, you are now brand new!
