Why It Has Always Been Your Concern

Hello everyone,

Recently, I’ve been writing on the Wisdom of God and how important she is in our lives, because without her we won’t find a headway in what we do; to be able to discern accurately, and in making right and excellent decisions, it is so expedient to know that without Wisdom, this cannot be achieved. Today, however, I’d like to revisit an area I’ve written about just for emphasis, which I feel won’t be too much because it concerns every one of us, and this area is why we pray and don’t get anything. I’d look at this and explain why this is so, and also proffer the solution.

Everyone, goes through one challenge or the other, it could be that you don’t have enough money, or you don’t have the Mr or Mrs. Right to marry, or you have a health issue and many more. The truth which I established a long time ago is that honestly speaking, this is not God’s concern in the real sense, but our concern and why is this so? When God spoke to the earth in Genesis, there was one major thing He said several times, which is: be fruitful and multiply. These lines affect everything that we do on earth, in other words, it was a principle God established here on earth.

To be fruitful and multiply, doesn’t just imply to childbearing alone, it refers also to our thought pattern. Man on his own is very inquisitive and doesn’t like to remain on a spot for too long, just as time passes by, so does man want to improve or to change, this is the result of the way we think. Where am I driving at? The thought of man must be fed to produce fruits, in other words, what we think about are like seeds, which when we keep pondering over and over and over again becomes like watering these seeds which would eventually be fruitful and multiply, and eventually, it results to our actions.

I posted a write-up a while ago that words are more powerful than actions, and why did I say that? I said that because there are no actions without words. Our actions or the events we face in life are just the results of what we ponder and speak about, for there are no accidents. The earth is so much organised that nothing happens by accident, everything that we face is the effect of a cause created. All the chaos we face today are as a result of the decision Adam made in Genesis 3, but then again we could change if we wanted to.

So, back to challenges that we face, which I listed above, the question I’ll ask you today is, “what have you been thinking of?” and as I said, this doesn’t have to do with religion or prayer, it only has to do with what you’ve been pondering and confessing every day. I’ll tell you the truth, I’ve come to the understanding that every event that happens in my life is clearly because of what I ponder and confess. You may not in many cases need to confess things, but the most important thing is what have you’ve been pondering about?

We were designed by God to only focus on a thing at a time. There is no simultaneous way of focus, if you think I’m kidding, try listening to two people simultaneously, you’ll find out that even though you claimed to listen to both parties at the same time, what really happened was that you were quickly inter-switching parties, when listening to them and you thought you were listening to both parties simultaneously. The same goes with every other sense.

The fruit is a reflection of the type of seed planted, so if you plant the thought of wealth in your heart and keep on pondering over it over and over again, it would lead to the fruit of wealth, the same goes with every other thing here on earth. But just as some fruits differ in days, weeks, months and even years to sprout, the same is said of our lives also. Remember, it is what you ponder about that leads to your reality.

But the question now is couldn’t there be opposing forces of focus, in other words, can’t a person counter my focus? The truth is that you can only decide for yourself alone and not anybody else. The power of choice lies in your hands. For instance, if you focus on wealth for yourself, it carries more force than for some else to focus on you not having the wealth. The only reason why you won’t have the wealth is that you chose not to have wealth and not the other person’s focus. It is you and you alone, not even God can force you to make a choice, no matter how much you are compelled, the choice they make any decision rests in your hands.

The question now is how do you know what and what not to focus on? It would imply that we need a guide from someone who knows us better than we know ourselves right? Or else we could be focusing on the wrong thing thinking it is the right thing that we regret later, this is why mistakes keep happening, because of wrong choices, and remember you cannot redeem the time. Log on next time as I unravel the second half of this powerful topic.

May the LORD bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you. May the LORD be gracious to you and lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. AMEN.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!

The Importance of Wisdom

Happy New Week everyone,

As I wrote in my last blog on how to identify wisdom, I said that wisdom is everywhere as we move along, but it is only the Spirit of Truth or the Spirit of Wisdom that would lead you to what wisdom is, and this is by receiving this Spirit into your life. Also, wisdom is better than rubies, and all the things one may desire cannot be compared with her. Today, I’ll explain why wisdom is actually and truly better than rubies, gold, riches, and why nothing can be compared with her. In other words, why is it better to choose wisdom over wealth?

Have you wondered why at your workplace some people seem to get promoted quickly, faster than others and in a genuine way or why some people just become billionaires all of a sudden in a genuine way? The reason why all these happen is because of Wisdom. I explained before that as God gave King Solomon wisdom and wealth above every man on earth, it didn’t just happen that money fell from the sky, or that he went to his wardrobe and money appeared, no, it was because of his great wisdom.

The words of King Solomon were treasure, words which everyone wanted to listen to you. The value of his words was so high that wise and great men all around the world came to listen to him. And because they knew his words had so much value that they brought gifts and treasures along for King Solomon. King Solomon’s words weren’t just like sweet music to the ears of the listeners, rather they were bringing about solutions to problems. A popular scenario is a time when two harlots both claimed to be the mother of a baby, and there was the need to know who the true mother was. King Solomon with his wisdom was able to find out who the true mother was. There was peace in the land just because of the Wisdom of Solomon. A type of this Wisdom is what smart men use today to invent great things.

Man has wisdom, however, his wisdom isn’t pure and as a result, there would be flaws in the long run. The wisdom of God is pure and sincere, full of righteousness. To have wisdom implies you have knowledge and understanding, it is then the right application of the knowledge and understanding that brings out wisdom.

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth and Wisdom, He knows the end from the beginning, thus knowing all things because He is God! He is the One who would dwell in you when you receive Jesus into your life, and all you have to do is trust, cling, rely on and believe in Him, because everything He says is true and righteous. But there are challenges to this that we all face which are: the challenge of fear, doubt, and unbelief to the Word of God, which in turn is to the Spirit of Truth which of course must and should align itself with the Word of God.

Many of us still judge with our five senses, but what we always fail to understand is that the Spirit of Jesus is accurate, because He knows the end from the beginning and He is the Spirit of Truth. But we judge based on human logic and then assume with the use probability. Just because an event happened a particular way, with a particular result, and then a similar event happens doesn’t necessarily imply it would have the same result. Humans assume, but God doesn’t.

As we believe in the Spirit of Truth, He directs our lives on what we are to do and how we are to live, because He knows that once we follow His directions, we would always break grounds in the end. But what is sad most times is that we fail to follow Wisdom because when the Spirit of Truth guides us, it seems to contradict the general logic of man and we would conclude that if we follow it, we would appear crazy in the eyes of others, and this is where doubt, fear and unbelief sets in.

It is important to know that the true Wisdom will never fail us as long as we follow everything she tells us. The Word of God is full of Wisdom, then asking God Christ to dwell in you is allowing the Spirit of Truth and Wisdom to dwell in you. And as you study and meditate the Word of God which is full of Wisdom, the Spirit of Truth then guides you, and as a result of constant meditation on the Word of God and being directed by the Spirit of Truth, when you see Wisdom on the streets, you then recognise her.

Remember, God understands that He must always take the glory, so why would He give you directions that would fail, just think about it. All you have to do is just believe, rely on, trust and cling to Him and see how you use Wisdom in your daily life and Solomon won’t even match up to your standard because the fullness of Wisdom dwells in you.

How To Identify Wisdom (Part 1)

Happy Weekend Everyone,

People always want to know, and knowledge here is to know what wisdom is, in other words, how can wisdom be identified? Jesus is wisdom, and as Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 1:24, Jesus is the Power and Wisdom of God. He also stated on Colossians 2:3, about Christ that, “in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” So, it is safe to say that Jesus is the embodiment of wisdom and knowledge. Still, this would not be clear enough to elaborate my point, so let’s take a look at Proverbs 8:1-4 which says,
“Does not wisdom cry out, and understanding lift up her voice? She takes her stand on the top of the high hill, beside the way, where the paths meet. She cries out by the gates, at the entry of the city, at the entrance of the doors: To you, O men, I call, and my voice is to the sons of men.”
This is the platform for understanding that wisdom is everywhere. A person could speak words of wisdom; a simple thing as the closing of the door; a bird chirping, they all could be wisdom crying out.

The heart of man on its own cannot decipher things accurately, but as I said, the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are found in Jesus, He is the one who would make you know when wisdom calls, in other words, how to decipher correctly and accurately. Now, letting Jesus into your life gives you access to the Holy Spirit who is the Spirit of Jesus or the Spirit of Truth who directs your every move or calls your attention to wisdom.

Now, Proverbs 8:7-8 explains to us how to identify wisdom, it says, “For my mouth will speak the truth; wickedness is an abomination to my lips. All the words of my mouth are with righteousness; nothing crooked or perverse is in them.”

Proverbs 8:7-8 is referring to the characteristics of the person in you, who is the Spirit of Truth, who is the Spirit of Jesus. So, He recognises His handiwork and alerts you, this is where perfection comes in. However, it is left to you to follow wisdom or not to follow wisdom, but the truth is that the Spirit of Jesus would always identify wisdom so as not to fall into that which appears as wisdom but is not.

It appears so simple, right? Yes and No, it is simple, because of the process, however, in getting there, you must be focused and not be double-minded to achieve this purpose. Being determined in getting to know wisdom at its finest doesn’t take a day’s work, but consistency is the way out because Proverbs 8:10 and 11 says, “Receive my instruction, and not silver, and knowledge rather than choice gold; for wisdom is better than rubies, and all the things one may desire cannot be compared with her." Let me be very honest with you, these are not just mere words of advice, it is the truth, wisdom is better than rubies, and all the things one may desire cannot be compared with her. If you think I’m joking let me show you why next time.

Understanding Wisdom (Part 2)

Hello everyone,

In my last blog, I wrote on understanding wisdom, which we shouldn’t take for granted. Wisdom is the proper application of knowledge, but there is a wisdom which surpasses all other types of wisdom which is the wisdom of God. The wisdom from above is pure and without flaws, which is the wisdom Solomon asked for. I made it clear that God blessed Solomon with wealth beyond any man on the face of the earth, and it is because of his high level of wisdom. As he interacted with people, his wisdom brought wealth to him. He was honoured everywhere he went, because of his wisdom.

I made it clear last time that wisdom is a person, and Jesus gave us a clue He was wisdom is in Matthew 12:42 and Luke 11:31, but when you link those verses with Proverbs 8:23, John 1:1 and 1 Corinthians 1:24, then it would be safe to conclude that Jesus is wisdom.

I observed something that made me ponder for a while, it was on the fact that every theory ever created by man has both advantages and disadvantages. I stopped and asked a friend of mine why there wasn’t any theory without disadvantages. This implies that there was no theory created which didn’t its flaws, and this is because they were created from the fallen nature, the carnal mind, where no one would find perfection and which is why there is always chaos in the world. And these theories are created from the wisdom of men. So, why use the wisdom of men, when there is the wisdom of God?

Apostle James in James 3:17 described the wisdom of God to us, “But the wisdom from above is first of all pure (undefiled); then it is peace-loving, courteous (considerate, gentle). [It is willing to] yield to reason, full of compassion and good fruits; it is wholehearted and straightforward, impartial and unfeigned (free from doubts, wavering, and insincerity).” AMP. Now, by following the wisdom from above, what would the result be? James 3:18 gives us the answer, “And the harvest of righteousness (of conformity to God’s will in thought and deed) is [the fruit of the seed] sown in peace by those who work for and make peace [in themselves and in others, that peace which means concord, agreement, and harmony between individuals, with undisturbedness, in a peaceful mind free from fears and agitating passions and moral conflicts.]” AMP. This is true because, in the reign of King Solomon, he had complete peace till he turned away from God/wisdom which can be seen in 1 Kings 11.

The question now is how can we gain access to wisdom, because many would ask that wisdom is so abstract, how would they know what wisdom is? Even though I said Jesus is wisdom, gaining access to the wisdom itself would be to know how to identify it. Log on next time as I address this question.

May the LORD bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you. May the LORD be gracious to you and lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. AMEN.

Understanding Wisdom (Part 1)

Hello everyone,

As we move about, we gather information around us with the use of our senses, which when properly arranged by the brain or memory, it could serve as information which would be useful after being understood. Now, the proper application of knowledge is wisdom, but they come in various degrees which makes a person wiser than the other. Today, I’ll be taking a look at wisdom.

Wisdom is a very powerful thing, it is abstract in nature, but without it everything would go wrong. Many of us haven’t really understood that it is wisdom that gets things done, maybe at work or anywhere. Yes, we need knowledge and we need to understand this knowledge, but these are theoretical, the practical side is wisdom, which is the expected to be the perfect application of knowledge, but do we all have the ability to apply knowledge perfectly? It is this imperfection that leads to flaws and errors.

When Solomon, King David’s son became King, he asked for wisdom, and when God saw that that was what he wanted, He gave Solomon wisdom beyond any man on earth, and He gave him riches and honour far more than any man on earth that would ever live. After this, happened, it wasn’t that Solomon just went to his closet and saw millions appear all of a sudden or the best horses just appeared, how did God’s word come to pass concerning Solomon’s wealth? It was through his profound wisdom! Solomon’s wisdom was so great that those who came to visit him honoured him with gifts which grew. This was the hand of God in the life of Solomon.

Solomon did not operate with the common wisdom of man, but with the wisdom of God. God’s wisdom is the perfect wisdom which contains no flaws. Wisdom is what is used to solve problems and bring in solution. But as I said, the wisdom of man is full of flaws, and as this is so, we must seek a higher calling which is to gain access to that wisdom which Solomon had access to. But the truth here is that the wisdom of God is a person.

God is not a man that He should lie when Jesus referred to Himself as one who is greater than Solomon [ref. Matthew 12:42; Luke 11:31], did that mean God was lying? No, it only came to establish that Jesus Himself is the wisdom of God, and Apostle Paul acknowledged this in 1 Corinthians 1:24. This goes to show that as you receive Christ into your life, you receive the fullness of God’s wisdom into your life, which is why it would be a shame if any Son of God isn’t full of wisdom, that means he or she doesn’t know that stuff he or she is made up of.

I have said it before and I will say it again, the Sons of God are the solution to the world’s problems, as Apostle Paul said in Romans 8:19. Know who you are made up of and see Christ move through you.

Always Test All Spirit

Hello everyone,

I’ve been able to identify some ways Jesus was able to identify it was the devil who was speaking to Him in His temptation, both in Matthew 4 and Luke 4, and how these ways could also be used by us in tracking down the devil when he comes deceiving. Today’s write-up is sort of a way to round up the yesterday’s topic.

As Sons of God, one thing is very important, and that is to be well grounded in the Word of God. The reason is that the Holy Spirit in every Son of God depends on the Word of God to function, in other words, the Word of God is used to check the spirit that speaks, if it is of the Holy Spirit or not. Also, the Word of God is used as the sword of the spirit, that which is used to kick off the devil at every point in time. The bible says, resist the devil and he will flee from you [ref. James 4:7], and how you do that is by using the Word of God for that situation, and this was what Jesus did all through when He was being tempted of the devil till He kicked him away using the Word of God [ref.: Matthew 4:1-11; Luke 4:1-13].

There is one message and that is about Christ’s crucifixion, burial, and resurrection and its meaning and benefit to the world by the grace bestowed upon us. The moment any message goes outside this, it is no longer of Christ anymore. Now, this is important because many times, we could hear the Word of God from a person and at another time, we could hear a message which is not from God, therefore of the devil. Now, this doesn’t mean that the person who was speaking the Word of God was later possessed by the devil, not at all. We should understand that the devil cannot possess a person who has the Holy Spirit in him, the way the devil gets to pass his message across to spirit-filled people are through suggestions. The devil could suggest a thing and the person could see the idea as a good one and would then propagate the wrong message. This is why we as Sons of God are to be well grounded in the Word of God in order to discern the spirit behind every spoken word. Jesus did this with Peter when Peter was rebuking Him from going to the cross [ref.: Matthew 16:21-23]. It may sound like a person who is concerned, we shouldn’t be led astray, even though it may sound like a person who cares for you, the truth is it would always contradict that which God has called you for. Remember, the devil comes as a wolf in sheep clothing, who also pretend as an angel of light, we all have to be careful because he is a deceiver [ref.: Matthew 7:15; 2 Corinthians 11:14].

We are to be alert at every time, not being carried away by every wind of doctrine no matter how nice it sounds. The devil doesn’t like you, isn’t sympathetic and would do everything to ensure your downfall. Be on guard, he is not more powerful than you, remember, Jesus has disarmed him of all his abilities, so don’t make the same mistake Adam made, by giving him powers he doesn’t possess by thinking he is powerful. This is how people get defeated by the devil because they feel the devil is powerful and once he sees your folly, he capitalises on it by working on your mind. This is why you need to know who you are Christ and also where you stand. Always test the spirit.

How Do You Know It's The Devil Talking? (Part 2)

Happy New Week everyone,

Yesterday, I identified the truth that the devil gets our attention by making us focus on ourselves and not on Jesus. He attacks us where we’re most vulnerable and he makes us get agitated by challenging our strength, therefore making us focus on ourselves and not on Jesus. Using the temptation of Jesus as a scenario, I said the devil doesn’t appear as the devil, but as one who is nice, as a wolf in sheep clothing. I then ended write-up yesterday by asking that, if the devil came as a wolf in sheep clothing, how then did Jesus recognise that he was being tempted by the devil? This I would address today.

The very first thing we must take note of is that you are at your most vulnerable when you get strengthened spiritually because that is when the devil attacks. The devil knows you are strong, but all he wants is for you to take your eyes off Jesus and focus on your strength, and by focusing on your strength you become carnally minded and before you know it, you start to either doubt, fear or have unbelief, and the devil has won! Jesus understood this first of all, which was why He was prepared after long spiritual exercise.

Again, Jesus tested the spirit as we are expected to according to 1 John 4:1-3. Although, 1 John was written after Jesus was glorified, so the spirit’s focus should be on confessing Jesus as Lord who came in the flesh and is now glorified as Lord of all is from God. But as for Jesus, the spirit had to focus on God the Father alone and not on Him the Son, this was how Jesus found out quickly. The spirit who was the devil focused on Jesus proving Himself without being led by God Himself for the glory to go back to Him (God).

Another way Jesus knew was that through the scriptures, Jesus was well grounded in the word that once the scripture was used to glorify the flesh instead of God it wasn’t from God. The devil didn’t quote Psalm 91:11-12 properly, he omitted a line in verse 11 which was, “…to keep you in all your ways”, the Amplified says “…and preserve you in all your ways [of obedience and service].” If the devil had quoted that line he would be asking Jesus to give glory to God through obedience and service, since he didn’t want that, and didn’t want Jesus to remember why He was on earth, he omitted purposely it. But Jesus was very vast in the scriptures and observed the trickery there and replied the devil using the word saying, “It is written again, ‘You shall not tempt the LORD your God.’” [Matthew 4:7].

Again, one thing Jesus did which we must always do is that the spirit MUST conform to the Word of God (scriptures), and NOT the Word of God conforming to the spirit. Jesus always used the scripture to know if the spirit has confirmed with the scripture, which was why He was always quoting. The truth is there is a level a deceitful spirit can go, but it cannot lead you to glorify Jesus as Lord of all, and once the result of all what the spirit says doesn’t fall on glorifying Jesus as Lord, that spirit is fake!

We have to be very careful as we live our spiritual life because the devil is so crafty and if you’re not alert in the spirit, you could fall prey to his tricks, be watchful.

How Do You Know It's The Devil Talking? (Part 1)

Happy Sunday everyone,

In my last write-up, I explained how we are not to focus on ourselves but on Christ, because fear, doubt, and unbelief is an attack on our being, a way we feel we are not capable. But guess what? We were never capable, it is the Jesus in us that is capable, so we are to know who Jesus is and the authority He possesses, which would make you understand that as you walk, it’s not you walking but Jesus walking. This would allow His ability flow through you, then you would speak as He spoke, perform signs and wonders even more than He did when He was here on earth, because the power He possesses surpasses that which He possessed when He was here on earth, and it is the present Jesus that lives in you [ref. John 14:12]. Now, we know the tricks of the devil by making us focus on ourselves instead of Jesus, but there are more to this on how the devil tricks us. I’ll reveal some common tricks the devil uses to deceive the Sons of God.

We may feel doubt, fear, and unbelief just comes upon a person, but in the real sense, it is being ignorant, and this is so because it is only a person who is ignorant about a thing that you can deceive over that which he or she doesn’t know. But a person who is knowledgeable about a thing is very hard to deceive, and Jesus showed us that when you are loaded with the scripture (word of God) and are being led by the Holy Spirit (very important), the devil would have to go back to his drawing board because he would find it very hard to deceive or tempt you.

We must understand that the devil attacks where we are most vulnerable, and not where we are strong. After Jesus had fasted for forty days and nights, He was hungry, and of course the level of hunger Jesus would have had would have been serious and was a perfect time for the devil to strike. The devil said in Matthew 4:3, “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.” Now, we must also know that in as much as the devil doesn’t attack the area you have worked on, he agitates a person who feels he is strong spiritually, and he did this to Jesus, by challenging Him with the word “if”. Many of us get carried away and would want to prove our point and we fall into the devil’s trap, this is why Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 10:12, “Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall.” So, if that’s the case what did Jesus do when the devil tempted Him with food and challenged His authority?

Jesus, when tempted by the devil, didn’t just answer the devil like that, rather He turned to the word and used it to answer the devil. This is another way we are to rely on Jesus and not ourselves when faced with temptation. And if Jesus wasn’t loaded with the scriptures, He would have fallen.

Now, we have to understand that the devil didn’t come as the devil to Jesus, let us not forget this, because if the devil comes as he is, we would easily know and rebuke him immediately. Instead, he came as a wolf in sheep clothing [ref.: Matthew 7:15], showing concern to Jesus because He was actually hungry. So, if the devil came as a wolf in sheep clothing, how did Jesus recognise that it was the devil, especially in His state of severe hunger? Log on same time tomorrow as I answer this question and elaborate more on this topic.

Overcoming Doubt, Fear, and Unbelief Permanently

Happy weekend,

Doubt, fear, and unbelief, these three summarises why we don’t utilise the grace which God has given us. These three show up on different occasion where we think to ourselves and based on certain circumstances we then conclude that it wasn’t going to work. Most times we use our lives to judge if God would answer certain prayers made to Him. Well, guess what, not before, now or even in the future were our prayers ever good enough before God. As long as our soul is still being transformed, we would add carnality to our prayers. This was why Apostle Paul said in Romans 8:26 that the Spirit helps us in our weaknesses, for we know not what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit intercedes on our behalf. So, if this is true about our lives, we would then understand that for us to stand before God and He calling us righteous is by grace and not of works.

Now, coming from the angle of grace which we now live as we grow in Jesus, and God calling us righteous, we could then ask then that if we still battle with fear, doubt, and unbelief, then how do we communicate with God let alone utilise the grace He has given us? I paraphrased a verse in the Romans 8:26 which starts to give an answer in addressing the aspect of fear, doubt, and unbelief. You are to allow the Holy Spirit in us intercede for you almost if not every time.

To elaborate on the last paragraph, we have access to the grace not because we did something, but because Jesus lives in us, in other words, it is Jesus in us that qualifies us to have access to the grace given to us. Let me put it better, there is no us anymore, who we are to look at that dwells in our being is Jesus! Now, what we are to do is to study and meditate on who the resurrected Jesus is because He is the one dwelling in us, we need to understand that whatever thing we receive is coming to Jesus, but because He dwells in your being that thing comes to you, therefore you are privileged to use that thing by grace, not that you deserved it.

Now, we are to meditate on Jesus and then know His abilities, for example, at His name, every knee would bow and every tongue would confess that He is Lord. So, when you are led by the Holy Spirit to heal a sick person for instance, don’t ever look at your, rather look at Jesus as the one who wants to heal the person, and as you have studied and know fully well that Jesus never fails, you put your trust in Jesus instead of yourself. This is why Hebrews 12:2 tells us to look unto Jesus, the author, and finisher of faith. In order for us to understand that we and Jesus are inseparable, the translators added the word “our” in front of faith in Hebrews 12:2, whereas the author of the book was trying to make us understand that we have not faith, only the faith of Jesus which we are to use. And by using it is by allowing Him and not us to take charge of the situation.

Jesus didn’t take credit for any miraculous sign He performed, not even His words, rather He said that which He sees the Father do that is what He does. He rested on the ability of God, so also we are to rest on the ability of Christ. We are to always study and meditate on Jesus as we search the scriptures, which would always remind us that it is Jesus and not us that is doing things. And we would find out that any time we do this, there is no form of fear, doubt, and unbelief because our focus is on His strength and not our strength. Live the miraculous today!

Overcoming Doubt, Fear, and Unbelief Permanently (Introduction)

Hello everyone,

I explained last time that God operates outside of time and space, He sees the beginning to the end all at once, so when He gave us His grace, it brought about the physical manifestation all at once, contrary to the opinion that we feel they would manifest later in the future, all we got to do is get there, because the blessings are waiting for us. All the Father has given to us is the great love He has towards us. In Christ, our hope becomes faith, because all that we hoped have now been given to us, and to receive it is through faith. Today’s focus is the receiving part and how it can be so easy to receive without a doubt because doubt, fear, and unbelief tend to stand in our way most times which prevents us from receiving. So, how can we overcome these barriers easily?

After receiving a lot of understanding of who I am right now in Christ Jesus, I feel powerful and ready to walk with God to wherever He wants to lead me to. But it appeared despite my enthusiasm over what I know I have obtained, I found out that there are things that still come up, thus preventing me from attaining greater height. And they are doubt, fear, and unbelief. The question I kept asking myself was why they could prevent me from utilising the grace received from through faith. After much meditation, I then understood that I believed that as I had received Christ into my life, then I was powerful, but that was wrong all along.

I understood that to say you are powerful and have the authority of Christ would make you self-conscious unknowingly. The reason is because, though our spirit is transformed completely as Christ’s is, our soul is still being transformed every day, so there are times we would feel we are not capable, maybe you forgot to study the word that day, or just got angry, and many others, we could feel that stand in our way in utilising the grace given to us, so we have doubt anything would work. The result is self-consciousness. So, if one way or the other we become self-conscious, how then do we utilise the grace given to us through faith, where doubt, fear, and unbelief cannot stand in our way? Log on same time tomorrow as I reveal how we are to overcome doubt, fear, and unbelief permanently.

He Has Provided All That We Would Ever Need

Hi everyone,

In my last write-up, I explained how God’s blessings for us through faith is in the now and not in the future. I made this clear as I explained how God operates outside of time and space and as a result sees beginning to the end all at once. With this, He has placed the physical blessings at strategic locations, in which when we get there, we find the blessings. The reason is that God provides our needs and not our wants, so He has placed the blessings where we would need them ahead of us, all we have to do is to walk with Him as He leads us in the path of righteousness because He is our good shepherd. Today is a continuation of where I stopped yesterday.

As we walk with God, there are tools used for His work. These tools to a regular human could be seen as blessings, actually, they are blessings in the real sense but are also tools. Whatever God wants us to do, He has made provision, because He wants the job to be done excellently, so He has provided the very best for the accomplishment of the job. You may need to travel as an evangelist and when the need arises, you locate a vehicle for you to get the job done. Anything that would enable us to get the job done He has made the provision.

Let us also remember that as we have received Christ into our lives, we are now children of God, and as such, He takes care of us as His own, which would imply that as we walk with Him we come to understand that we never lack. We can never lack because if we lack we can’t accomplish His mission for us, this is a way for us to understand that God is our Father and has provided for us everything we would ever need.

Now, there are times where some of us face lack and feel we are doing what God has called us to do, this is not possible, retrace your steps and you’ll find out that you’ve been walking alone without Him. It is not possible for you to lack, I’m not saying Him making us billionaires in the human eyes, (even though we are more than billionaire because we don’t lack anything). What I mean to say is that there is nothing that you would NEED that He hasn’t already made the provision, and guess what, He provides more than enough because He is the more than enough God and we are His children whom He loves so dearly.

So, if you feel there is a lack in your life, go to Him and He shows you the path to follow. Going to Him is as simple as have a private chat with Him may be in your room to properly express yourself. He knows you and knows how to answer you that you will know it is Him. And remember, whichever way the answer may come, it must always give glory to God and draw you closer to Him. He has provided all that we would ever need, so learn to walk with Him.

How Does God's Blessings Manifest Physically? (Part 2)

Hello everyone,

Previously, I explained how God has given us everything we would ever need by grace through faith. But as God has given us everything we would ever need, we don’t get to see them manifest all at once. The truth is that in the eyes of God, all that He had given us has manifested, this is because God operates outside of time and space, but we do and we should understand what faith really means as I explain why everything God has given us has manifested, and how we are to locate the physical manifestation of His blessings.

I looked into what many people call faith and hope. Many times we hear someone say something like he or she is believing God for a thing, and they call that faith. The truth is that that is actually hope! Hope is more of the belief or expectation that something wished for would happen. Faith is actually the assurance that what we wished or hoped for has been given to us, that which we didn’t deserve, which makes it grace. One thing we must understand is that faith is the now and it isn’t in the future. Now, just because we assume not to see it physically doesn’t mean they don’t, but they do physically, and I’ll explain how this is so.

As I said God exists outside of time and space, which implies that He sees the end from the beginning, in other words, He sees everything at once. But we, on the other hand, are taking this time and space stage by stage. Now, let’s picture our time and space as a very large piece of land, maybe several hectares and we are at the beginning. Everything we would ever need has been strategically positioned at different parts of the land, but you won’t get to see it until you reach that point on the land.

God, is sort of like viewing the whole land from above. What God does is that He has placed all the physical manifestations of our blessings at strategic places. Psalm 119:105 says, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” As we walk through His path, we get to see the blessings strategically positioned by God, did God just put them there? No, it was placed there by God before the foundation of the world for us, all we have to do is to walk in His path till you unravel what God said He has given us through faith. The blessings are not in the future, they already exist, it is just left for us to get there, which then justifies why Hebrews 11:1 says, “Now faith is the substance [because they exist] of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

Walk with God to unravel the blessings God has kept for through Jesus.

How Does God's Blessings Manifest Physically? (Part 1)

Hi everyone,

From the beginning of the year, I emphasised the importance of always giving thanks. Thanksgiving is an act of faith, and in turn, strengthens our faith. I looked into how Jesus always gave thanks before He performed miracles, which was an act of faith. In the case of Jesus, I made it clear that He wouldn’t have been able to have so much faith to the point of “risking His life” if He wasn’t extra sure and had placed His trust on someone He could trust till the end, and this person is God the Father. I went ahead to say that Jesus wouldn’t have had faith in God if He hadn’t seen the love His Father had and has towards Him. In the same vein, we are to study and meditate on the love God has towards us in Christ Jesus, which is clearly seen through His death, burial and resurrection, and all that He obtained which we were freely given by Grace through faith.

Furthermore, I then started to look into the depth of God’s love for us, by looking at what we obtained when Jesus resurrected. We gain access to this grace through faith, which is, receiving everything given to us by God, receiving would be to trust completely without a doubt at what God has given us.  But this wasn’t so clear to me especially where it says God has blessed us with all spiritual blessings, but wasn’t visible despite receiving Jesus into my life, it was after several studies and deep meditation, I then understood how the grace manifests physically.

God has blessed us with all spiritual blessings, He has blessed us with everything we would ever need, but in terms of its manifestation, it may appear as though that they don’t manifest all at once. But the truth is that in God’s eye they manifest all at once because He had predestined our blessings before we were created, then how is different from how we see things? It is because God is outside time and space but we are within time and space, so we see things appear gradually, but God sees everything appear all at once.

In order to understand how time and space affects how we receive the grace, God has bestowed upon, log on same time tomorrow.

May the LORD bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you. May the LORD be gracious to you and lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. AMEN.

A Look At His Love 2

Hello everyone,

In my previous write-up, I wrote on how much God loves us, still relating to how much Jesus was able to understand the depth of the love God His Father and our Father had for Him, similarly we are to study and meditate on the love God has for through His Son Jesus Christ.

I started last time by explaining how much the love of God is towards by sending His Son to die in our place. The most interesting thing about this whole scenario is that it isn’t just the death alone, but what happened afterwards. Jesus destroyed the spirit of sin completely, so the world is free from the spirit of sin, however, because our soul was born under the control of sin, the soul has absorbed the sinful nature as a way of life, whereas it is no longer in control anymore. This is where we need to accept the new way of life in Christ Jesus, a life where you align yourself with the way of life of God, with you having all authority in heaven and earth at your disposal, have a spirit of Jesus dwelling in you, thus having an excellent spirit full of the true and the finest of wisdom. The list goes on and on.

The interesting thing that happened after the death of Jesus was that God raised Jesus up and gave Him all authority in heaven and earth. Now, Jesus had been and is God, so does it make any sense to say God raised Himself? The reason why this happened was that Jesus is God and man in a body, so Jesus being raised is the human side, which represents man. Remember, Jesus represented us when He died, so as God raised Him, He was raising man also, this is why Jesus is referred to as the firstborn from the dead, and as many as are led by the spirit of God are the children of God. As you receive Christ, you become the Son or Daughter of God, and your elder brother is Jesus.

Where do all these lead? Everything that was given to Jesus we also have the exact same thing, this is called grace! Jesus worked for it and got what He deserved, but we couldn’t ever come close to getting a good stand before God’s sight. We were in God’s bad books till Jesus died for us, so in getting in God’s books is to follow the footsteps of the only man who entered God’s good books, once we do that, we gain access to the grace of God, but how what happens with grace in our lives, how do we unleash it properly, sort of like a step by step format? Log on same time tomorrow for this.
