Are You Full or Half Full?

Happy new day everyone,

I looked around and kept seeing things that are wrong which ordinary Jesus of Nazareth would have solved easily. If you noticed I said Jesus of Nazareth, the reason is that Jesus of Nazareth doesn’t have complete dominion over everything in the universe which the resurrected Jesus possesses. Jesus of Nazareth was just like the first Adam in Genesis, who only had authority here on earth alone, but when Jesus resurrected, He was given all authority in heaven, earth and under the earth. And guess what? It is this exact authority of the resurrected Jesus every Believer has been given by Grace or we would say, free of charge! So why can’t we stop a something as simple as a hurricane?

There is something Jesus understood early in His physical life that many of us Believers are still battling to understand today, and it to know who our true Father really is. Jesus understood early enough as we were able to see this recorded when He was just twelve years of age [ref. Luke 2:49]. Several times Jesus would say, what you see me do is not of my own accord, but what I see my Father do, that is what I do. Let’s take a look at John 5:19 which says, “Then Jesus answered and said to them “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner.”” What Jesus was saying to them was that all the while, it wasn’t Him who was performing the miracles but His Father who lived in Him. Jesus made mention of things like this in several places [ref. John 8:28, 14:9-10]. So where do you think we’ve missed it?

Several times, we think it is by our own abilities that things are done, knowingly or unknowingly. We think it by how much we’ve studied the scriptures that can allow us to command things and they happen, or we think it is because we’ve done something against the Lord that’s why when we command a thing it doesn’t happen. Now let me tell me you why nothing happened. Nothing happened because you said it won’t happen! Remember, it is not by our power that all these things happen, this is the truth we need to understand and this was the secret of Jesus while He was here on earth. He said in John 14:11, “Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me…” Jesus had become one with the Father, but we feel it is blasphemous to become one with the Monarch of the universe, the King of kings, the Almighty God, this was why the Pharisees wanted to stone Jesus for claiming to be God [ref. John 8:48-59]. True, Jesus is the one who received all authority and dominion, but we forget that we are the body of Christ and we’re one with Him, being joint heirs with Christ [ref. 1 Corinthians 12:27, Romans 8:17], so whatever happens to Christ, happens to us!

Log on tomorrow as I continue on this topic.

May the LORD bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you. May the LORD be gracious to you and lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. AMEN.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!

What Is Right And What Is Wrong?

Hello everyone,

We often times wonder what is right or wrong, so we turn to the scriptures to find out what is right and wrong, or what is good and evil. Several writings ago, I did write on something related to this. The point here now is what makes a thing right and another wrong?

In order to know what is right or wrong, good or evil, we need to take a look at the origin of this decision. Now, the laws of the land determine what is right and wrong. For example, the country Austria says drinking of beer is right while smoking is wrong, but in Romania, drinking of beer is wrong while smoking is acceptable. Now is this not rather confusing in determining what right and wrong are? So if this is how Man decides, what is God’s right and wrong?

There was nothing like a rule stating what is right or wrong from the beginning. When God created man, He placed two trees in the garden, the tree of life and tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Now before Adam and Eve ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, they had no idea of what was good or evil. If they didn’t have any idea of good or evil, then how were they living?

Adam and Eve just followed just what they were told to do without questioning orders; their hearts were designed just to follow God. But the moment they ate of the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil, they started questioning orders, using their logical reasoning and making decisions by themselves, but it hasn’t worked for them, this was what brought about the creation of laws and order. The truth here was that due to the eating of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, Man was bound to never obey law and order but to question it. This was why Man could never keep the law of God, but Jesus wasn’t under the dispensation of good and evil, but to follow the Holy Spirit.

As you become a new person in Christ by becoming a Believer, you have a new Spirit which is the same as Christ’s which the same as God’s is, so you have His ways in your heart. This is why when God speaks to us through the Holy Spirit we obey easily because it is our life naturally. So, what is good or evil, right or wrong?

To know what is right and wrong is not to know what is right or wrong, but to know what the Holy Spirit says that corresponds to the Word of God. This only applies to Believers because those who are not in Christ are living under the law which has been abolished, so they are living in ignorance, this is why it is the duty of every Believer to tell those who are ignorant of the new Spirit and live a brand new life full of perfection.

This new life is so simple, but Man has decided to make things complicated because we have trust issues with God who is trustworthy till the end of time and beyond.

FAITH Is Not Faith

Hi everyone,

Are you aware that everybody in the world has faith in them? Yes, we all do, so if we all have faith in ourselves then what is this the faith that Jesus said we should have? Let’s take a look at this issue.

The faith that a regular human being possesses is the human faith which is expressed through his self-effort. Everything we do on earth is through faith because everything we do is what we believe. We cannot do anything unless we believe in that thing, for instance, we believe by eating food our hunger issues would stop; we believe if we enter a vehicle, it would take us to our destination; we believe in what people say and many more things like. All these are the result of human faith which everyone possesses naturally. So if we possess faith, then what faith was Jesus referring to, or what is the faith God wants us to have wherein Hebrews 11:6a it says “But without faith it is impossible to please Him…” what does this faith mean since we all have faith?

When you take a look at Galatians 2:20 from the King James Version, it says, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” King James Version of the verse was able to identify that when we Believers it is no life using our faith but the faith of Jesus. The reason is that our faith is imperfect and full of flaws and cannot live the life of God with it.

Jesus was the only man who was able to meet God’s standard and this was due to His complete faith in God. It is this faith that is used to channel ourselves into the kingdom of God. This faith from the human standpoint doesn’t make sense and is hard to believe; the Bible says in Hebrews 11:1, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” This faith cannot be understood by man because of our imperfection, it would only take a rebirth by having a brand new life and having this kind of faith. This is why when we become born again, our old life dies and we take up a brand new life which is the life of Christ, and since it is the life of Christ which is the life of perfection, we live the Jesus’ life and we use His faith, because only His type of faith can please God.

Hebrews 12:2a says “looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith… .” in the original writing, the word "our" wasn’t there, just to show that we don’t have faith, the faith we have is that of Christ. The summary of the whole thing is that we don’t have a life again, the life we now live is now the life of Jesus. We have been connected to a system guided by the Holy Spirit. This also why Jesus could confidently say that whatever He does is what He sees His Father (God) do, His Father is in Him and He in His Father [ref.: John 14:9-11]. There is one spirit and if there is one spirit, it means we are all guided by the same being, His thought is now our thoughts, we now have His mind [ref.: Ephesians 4:4-6; 1 Corinthians 2:16]. It is not about us again, but about Christ.

To be selfless and allowing Jesus to rule your heart is to live by the faith Jesus which is what God is looking for. Let go and let Him, until we come to the end of ourselves, we won’t see God move through us.

Now This Is The Life God Wants Us To Live (Conclusion)

Happy Monday everyone,

And this was my last paragraph yesterday, “As we enter into this rest, we are guided into every step we take as the Holy Spirit become our guide and we having the word of God/Jesus abiding in us, life becomes so full of Grace and we know what we are to do and this is how we are not guided or controlled by mammon, because at this point we would understand that everything we would ever need had been provided for long before we were born and mammon becomes our servant and not the other way round and now God is the one we truly serve.” In essence, God wants us to be one with Him, which is why we find Him giving us His life, He doesn’t want any separation between ourselves and Himself. This is why we have to understand why our new Spirit when we become Believers become the exact same Spirit of God, [ref. John 17:3, Ephesians 4:4-6].

You will find in the gospels when Jesus was talking about taking up your cross and following Him, He then said what would it profit a man if he gains the whole world and then loses his soul [ref. Matthew 16:26, Mark 8:26, Luke 9:25], in other words, there is something beyond than the acquisition of wealth. Following Jesus is being Him, true we would face a lot of trials along the way but who told you that won’t happen if you are on your own? The difference between the two is the outcome, one comes out stronger as having overcome, while the other comes out battered which is a typical life’s situation in this case.

You can never walk with Jesus and fail or lose or reject walking with Him. Why do you think His disciples kept walking with Him? A perfect example is the feeding of the 5,000 by Jesus after Jesus had fed the people they came back the next day in need of food, but when Jesus explained to them that which was above physical food which is Himself, they deserted Him. But when He turned to His disciples asking them saying, “Do you also want to go away?” (John 6:67) but the disciples had come to an understanding that life was beyond eating and drinking, that is why Simon Peter answered saying, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. Also, we have come to believe and know that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” (John 6:68-69), [ref. John 6:22-71].

Again, we should look at working with God as an all-expense paid trip as we do His work. And working for God is not like a job, let me explain. Someone told you a great news and you are so excited you just want to tell somebody, so the Holy Spirit guides you on how to share this good news. Also, we need to understand that Jesus takes care of us as He takes care of Himself exactly. But all these is just is a decision we are to make for ourselves if we want to be one with Christ or not, but I’ll tell you the truth, there is no life outside of Jesus Christ.

Now This Is The Life God Wants Us To Live

Hello everyone, happy Sunday,

If we want to look at what I have been writing for some days it would seem confusing or should I say a contradiction as to the life God intended us to live which is would make us serve Him and not mammon. However, what I failed to make known to you was that the main thing which God intended us to do which would lead to us serving Him and not mammon is to labour to enter His rest, in other words, we are to be at rest in Christ Jesus.

Some days ago, I was able to explain what this rest is all about. But when you take a look at Hebrews 4:11 which says, “Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience.” The question now is how can one be diligent to enter rest, isn’t it just to go and rest, it doesn’t take any form of work or does it? The King James Version uses the word labour instead of diligent, still what is the labour for? Since man fell, he has been trying to fend for himself through the sweat of his brow and as a result of this, it was obvious this was what brought about the story of mammon. The devil, however, had been using mammon as a means to prevent Man from going back to God, since money is what man needs to get anything he wants. So the deceitfulness of riches popped in and Man kept falling into the trap and thinking they were serving God as some thought just added God as a checklist in order to ‘fulfil all righteousness.’ But this wasn’t the life God intended man to live.

Jesus was who man the incarnate form of God was the one who through His resurrection brought Grace to all mankind, in other words, we were all children of God from the very start, but we broke the relationship with God which Jesus had reconnected us back to God through His death and resurrection, so the benefits of being a son was restored, which only Jesus possessed, but through Grace, He gave us these same benefit through Him. Since we were not worthy enough, the only way to gain access to these benefits was by using His name to enter, in other words, the name of Jesus was an access code into entering into the blessings and benefits of becoming a son of God.

The point here is that since we have all things at our beck and call but because it sounds so good to be true, our hearts are too hardened to believe, what we are to do is to work ourselves into believing what God has made provisions for through Grace. This work is through the study and meditation of the word of God which explains everything to us, all these are what Hebrews 4:11 calls labour or diligence.

As we enter into this rest, we are guided into every step we take as the Holy Spirit become our guide and we have the word of God/Jesus abiding in us. Everything we do is made perfect and life becomes so full of Grace and we know what we are to do and this is how we are not guided or controlled by mammon, because at this point we would understand that everything we would ever need had been provided for long before we were born and mammon becomes our servant and not the other way round and now God is the one we truly serve.

May the LORD bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you. May the LORD be gracious to you and lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. AMEN.

How Does God Expect Us To Live? (Part 2)

Hi everyone,

Recently, I’ve been writing on how we cannot serve two masters as Jesus explained to us, I also explained that most of us have unknowingly been serving mammon. I then explained yesterday the process into living the life God intends us to live which is actually serving Him and not mammon. And using Matthew 6:25-34, I explained how we are not to worry about anything as God has provided all things we would ever need this life. But isn’t this the same as what is being done already?

One thing we need to understand is that everything we would ever need has been provided for already, not in the future but now. As I said former writings, we are to live our lives as James Bond. His focus was on the mission and not the thing which He was going to obtain. God loves us beyond our imagination, and can never lie. So, what needs to know is our mission here on earth. And as each need arises, because it is needed, we get the exact need for the mission. For example, if you’re playing a game and the hero of the game got a car at level 3 in order to achieve the mission by saving the Princess, you won’t get the car in level 1 because it isn’t needed until you get to level 3.

We are on a mission which everything we ever need has been provided for, just listen to the Holy Spirit who directs us on what next to do at the exact time. We are not working to get because we already have. As you continue in Jesus, by believing, trusting and relying on Him you please the Lord, and Psalm 37:4 comes to pass which is, “delight yourself also in the LORD, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.” The desires of your heart come at the right time when you need them. God knows how to take care of His children, so He provides the right tool for the job.

We need to understand that in Christ, all things are ours as we are of Christ. Our Father is the owner of the universe and beyond, and we own the universe also, so we don’t lack anything, we call things forth at our disposal as they are needed. Remember, we have a mission to focus on, and as we follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, He tells us how to speak forth and command things in line with the mission on ground.

One thing we need to know is that, as God is our Father and source, it won’t make sense for Him to send us on a mission on empty stomach, would it? We would just die of hunger. Didn’t you see how He addressed Simon Peter’s predicament of trying to get fish all night? Just because of what Jesus did, He found out being with Jesus was everything. Don’t also forget, Jesus’ disciples weren’t Believers with the Holy Spirit, so if they were suffering, they would have left Him long ago. But the truth remained that Jesus was working on their understanding, to focus on the mission given to them and not their physical needs that had been taken care of.

We are bound to struggle and work for mammon the moment we are doing what we’re not called for. But once we know what we are called for and with the leading of the Holy Spirit, we walk our way to achieving what we have been called It’s really a state of trust in Jesus Christ, just be sure of what you have been called for.

How Does God Expect Us To Live?

Hello everyone,

Yesterday, I took a closer look at what Jesus meant when He said we cannot serve two masters, and by two masters I referred to God and mammon. I was able to establish that many Believers who are to serve God alone have unknowingly served mammon. I also said that money, which is deceitful riches is that which enslaves and degrades a person. It was then I then I asked that if many Believers had missed it, then what makes coming to Jesus any special, is it just eternal life which I’m sure a lot of us became Believers for so as to be on the safe side and still hustle as the common man in the world? Today, I will take a look at this issue.

I said yesterday that many of us have been enslaved by mammon unknowingly, and as such are serving mammon. So, what is the way Believers are to live if it kind of appears we are not to work for our pay? Let us take a look at a popular passage in the Bible in Matthew 6:25-34 where Jesus said we shouldn’t worry about anything, such what to eat, drink or what to wear. Jesus went ahead by making an example using the birds of the air which neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, but yet God feeds them, what does this mean? It means that the birds do not depend on themselves but God, not just on God, but the leading of God which is very important.

The animals believe that God has provided for them, all they have to do is just to come out and find the food. Jesus’ point here is that man is more valuable than these animals and He knows what we need even before asking Him. He also said that it is the unbelievers that worry about what to eat, drink and other things.

But let’s think of it, is it wrong to worry about what to eat, drink or put on? Or maybe planning would be better what do you think? Alright, what did Jesus mean after all these He said we should “seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you” (Matthew 6:33). To be very clear here, the kingdom of God is what God Himself has called each and every one of us to do right here on earth, which can only be discovered in Jesus Christ because He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. By doing this, we then discover our purpose here on earth as we get to know Him more through the study and meditation of His word.

Doesn’t our discovery still boil down to the same thing? To find out more, log on tomorrow.

Have We Been Putting Our Trust In God or Mammon?

Hi everyone,

Have you ever wondered what Jesus said both in Matthew 6:24 and Luke 16:19 that we cannot serve two masters, in other words, we cannot serve both God and mammon, Amplified version brought up other synonyms to mammon which includes, deceitful riches, money, possessions, or whatever is trusted in; yes many would say God didn’t say we shouldn’t use money, what He means is that we shouldn’t put our trust in money, and we are to put our trust in Him. But after my careful observation at what we do today, I asked myself, “Are we really putting our trust in God and not mammon?” and this is what I’d be looking at today.

What does it mean to put one’s trust in mammon? We go to work, labour throughout the month waiting for the last week or the end of the month to come because we are waiting for that pay in order to survive, in order to pay for our rent, kids school fees, foodstuffs, clothing, hospital bills and much more like this. Is this not slavery, and for who? Money. We then deceive ourselves by bringing God into the picture for Him to intervene in letting the pay come quickly or He should touch the heart of the boss to see your hard work that he should increase your pay. The point here in simple terms is that you have become a slave to money and you are limited by how much is given to you.

You could come up and tell me you are not enslaved by how much you earn, so I ask, why do you give Thanksgiving or testimony in church for a car that was given to you without payment or at a lower rate, or why do we give testimony in church for a hospital bill paid for or house rent paid for? The truth is that the amount you earn could not meet up to these things or else you wouldn’t have come out to give any testimony, or am I telling a lie?

Money has enslaved us and we didn’t know it all these while. If we struggle to earn money in order to enjoy the luxuries of life, then an unbeliever who is a billionaire shouldn’t bother coming to Jesus, because the so called Believers who want to bring people to Jesus are longing to have things which the billionaire doesn’t need to pray for. So where have we missed it, how come we pray to God for things which the billionaires already have or what a small god could easily provide? Don’t get it twisted saying, there is always a clause that the small god gives those who come to meet them. Seriously, I could put my sweat into my work, get an excellent degree or come up with a smart idea and get wealthy, isn’t that what the popular billionaire have been doing?

So, what makes coming to Jesus any special, is it just eternal life which I’m sure a lot of us became Believers for so as to be on the safe side and still hustle as the common man on the world? You need an answer? Then log on tomorrow as I reveal what went wrong and what Jesus Christ wants us to do as Believers.

The Devil Is Afraid Of You!

Happy new day everyone,

Yesterday, I took a look at the reason why the person in Psalm 1:1-3 was always successful at everything done, and I related it to being able to overcome trials and temptations easily through the constant meditation of the word of God. Back then it was the law, but for us now it is the undiluted word of God in our heart. Today, I’ll continue from where I stopped yesterday.

Many of us claim to have attacks from the devil, such as health attacks which have been standing in their way from achieving great victory; they talk of demonic spirit in a place, how they’ve battled with it in order to go where they are going. Let me tell you the mistake you’ve been making, you’ve been ignoring all these while and the devil has been taking advantage of you ever since. You must understand that the devil has been a defeated foe before the creation of the world, but officially at the resurrection of Jesus because Jesus made the devil of all powers and principalities [ref. Colossians 2:15], and you had to know that. So, the devil knew you did not know, so he made use of your ignorance.

Another mistake you’ve been making is that you’ve been fighting with your strength, thinking you are going to win that way. Still again, you think the devil is at your level or maybe even stronger, so you had to fight very hard with your ignorant misinterpretation of “fight the good fight of faith”. All these are what I count as rubbish.

Now, this is the truth; the devil as I said has been defeated and you need to know that; again, the devil from the very beginning was lower than you even before he rebelled against God. Remember, he was an angel, and angels are our servants, so what made him stronger after being kicked out of heaven? NOTHING! He became even more useless. I have said this before and I’ll say this again, the only power the devil has is the power of deceit, speaking into one’s mind. He paints false pictures which we ignorantly believe and think we are under attack when we would have just rebuked it with the word of God all along.

We do not need to fight the devil ever again, why? This is because the battle had been won, not by you, but by Jesus and He has given us His victory through Grace. This is why we do not fight for victory, but from the victory which is the good fight of faith, by believing all that Jesus has done for us, and following Him as He directs us. Remember, we are in Him and we are to allow His words to be in us.

Finally, this is why the devil can NEVER attack us. The devil is a spirit being, so he sees with the spiritual eye, and if you are in Christ, the devil doesn’t see you anymore, instead, he sees Jesus, whom he no match for in any form, not even in his imagination. This is why we need to know this and not be ignorant Believers. But if you’ve not accepted Jesus as Lord, you are not in him and the devil would just be tormenting your mind. It is the mind the devil torments and nothing else, even if you are not born again. HE DOESN’T HAVE ANY POWER OF HIS OWN. Ignorance in the word is very terrible, we need to constantly keep ourselves fit in the word by constantly meditating on the word, all that Jesus has done for us and most especially believing and confessing it. It is the believing and the confessing that drives the devil away. And when you are well grounded in an area spiritually, he leaves you and targets the areas you are still working on. So, you see it is an ongoing process which you must not take for granted.

Overcoming Trials and Temptations

Hi everyone,

We face trials, temptations and many other things we really don’t like. Trials are good when they come from God to test strengthen our faith, but temptations do not come from God, they come from the evil one, the devil as he keeps suggesting evil thoughts into our minds. Sometimes, we fall, sometimes we don’t fall. Now, when we fall into temptation, we always regret it right? This is because it ruins our plans or prevents us from achieving certain things. Sometimes, it could be so bad that some even run away from God (which of course they can’t).

But have you ever considered the man in Psalms 1:1-3, how whatever he does prosper, note the word whatever. How does he do it? We look at the man in Psalm 1 and we say, “of course, he meditated on the word day and night, that’s why he’s so successful”. Yes, that’s true, but if what happened to him while he meditated on is not properly broken down, we take what he did for granted.

What does the man in Psalm 1 have anything to do with trials and temptations? Everything! Have you ever wondered how to overcome trials, temptation or any other thing in your life? It’s with the word of God. The Bible in Ephesians 6:17 calls the word the sword of the spirit; also in Hebrew 4:12 says, “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piecing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. The word discerns what goes through our minds, and remember, temptations start from the mind. It is only with the word of God which is the sword of the spirit, that we can overcome the temptation; Jesus did this, the man in Psalms 1 did this also.

Now, if Jesus wasn’t so equipped with the word of God He wouldn’t have overcome the devil. People say, trials are good, but how do you win the battle? With the word! Do you get it now? The man in Psalm 1 meditated on the word day and night, he didn’t do it because he just wanted to; he did it because he understood that having a proper mastery of the word would make him succeed at anything, why? This is because the only thing that makes us not get to our destination or targets, are temptations, distractions, laziness, procrastination and much more like that, and it is ONLY the word of God that shows us what to do in every situation.

The man in Psalm 1 didn’t just meditate on the word alone, he became the word. As you study the word the thoughts and plans which God has for you begin to open up to you and the Holy Spirit shows you how to go about it [ref. Ephesians 1:18 AMP, Jeremiah 10:23]. As you go on and face any temptation or distraction, what do you do? The Holy Spirit then put in your heart the right word you’ve been meditating on for days which you would use to destroy the temptation, just as Jesus did when the devil tempted Him. If you’re lazy or you want to procrastinate, the Bible says in Psalms 28:7, “The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song I will praise Him.” Also, the Bible says in Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

It is when you become the word through proper meditation of it that you’ll be able to overcome every form of temptation, trials and the likes and become like the man in Psalm 1:1-3 who succeeds at whatever he does.

Why Worry When You Have God

Happy new week everyone,

I looked up my dictionary for the meaning of the word worry, and two use of definitions of what I was looking for struck me. One was a transitive verb which defined worry as to “disturb the peace of mind of; afflict with mental agitation or distress”, while the other was an intransitive verb defining worry as “to be troubled, to give way to mental anxiety”. The point I was able to establish was that worry indicates you being bothered by a thing, which also indicates a person in need of help in an urgent situation. I then wondered why we couldn’t get such help from God. This is what I intend discussing today.

I came to an understanding that most of us have decided to do things our own way. We respect God but feel anything that concerns Him are spiritual things, and our day to day physical activities do not concern Him. This is wrong and not true. Do you know that the human parent was designed to imitate God who is the real and true parent; as a child we insisted we wanted to do things ourselves even when our parents wanted to help out, we would say “no, no”, and we would be in a fix and in need of our parent who knew better when we were kids. This is the same way we treat God who is ready to guide us on our way, on every single path we tread.

The point to note is that out of the spirit came the physical. God is a spirit being and He knows the end from the beginning and He created us, isn’t He the one should trust at all times. The Bible says in 1 Peter 5:7, “cast all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.” We go through difficult situations every time, we should wait till when we enter a fix before we involve God. We should involve Him before we begin any task, asking Him for His directions and not only that, we need to trust Him when He directs us because most times His ways do not seem to make sense, but I bet you won’t regret it one second. I’m a living testimony, why not trust Him today and live a stress-free life.

Understanding Is Key In Order To Get Result

Happy Sunday everyone,

Yesterday, I explained the health challenges I faced in my life and how I was able to tackle it by properly understanding the Word of God. Today, I would take a look at why it is important to understand the Word. Yeah, I know you know, but there’s nothing wrong in refreshing your mind again.

I said yesterday that when I declared that by the stripes of Jesus I was made healed and nothing happened. Most times the issue we face is that once we hear that we should declare the word, we just do so without properly knowing what the word is, not to talk of understanding it. These aspects are very important in our lives or else we would be speaking to the wind.

If you go through the scriptures, the gospel to be precise, you would see where most of the time, Jesus went to pray in the mountain. The reason was not just for Him to believe His Father, but to remain in His Father, that is, following exactly what He was called for. This could only mean that Jesus understood fully what He came to earth for, this was the reason why He had so much confidence and authority at everything He did.

Knowing the word is one thing, understanding it is another which very important. When we gave our lives to Christ, by being born again, we had to properly understand what we were going into. When the word declares who we are in Christ, this is knowledge, but we need to properly understand what it means, and this is where the Holy Spirit comes in which we have to pay full attention because He explains what the word means and how it applies to us and how we are to make use of it.

So when the word says we are seated in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, we need to ask the Holy Spirit for interpretation and understanding. It is only when you understand the word that you would declare the word to whatever situation you face and it comes to pass. And remember we live by faith and not by sight. We don’t live the way the world live their lives. And it is only when we properly understand this that we can live this life, and to allow the Holy Spirit to be our closest friend, we need to empty ourselves and look unto Jesus as the Way, the Truth and the Life. These were not figures of speech, they had and have full literary meaning. Jesus is the only way which you must draw close and understand to live His life.

The Healing Story Of My Life

Hello everyone,

Yesterday, I was able to explain the how important obedience is to faith because obedience is a sign that you believe and trust the Lord. Although, many of us would say they believe but the challenges they face is so serious in their lives that have forced them to fear even when they know what Jesus has established is true. Today, I’ll take a look at how one would transform his life from a fear based one to a faith based one in every situation.

I have been a person who was never afraid of anything and even the devil knew that. But you know as you keep growing in Christ, the greater the testing of your faith. I had a health issue which I would have done away with if I had my present level of understanding. It was so serious I had to go for a brain surgery, unknown to me I started having side effects four years later from the surgery. It was such an attack that even after declaring the word over my situation and speaking to the issue to leave in the name of Jesus, it still didn’t go. I speak to every other ailment that surfaces in my body, I command it to leave and it goes immediately, but this one just refused to leave. It was after crying to the Lord for years and asking why I then noticed that I never had faith for once, it was fear!

I found out even when I commanded the problem to go, I had this fear inside of me that it was still around, so what was I to do. I am the one who teaches people how to have faith in the finished work of Jesus and they understand and it works for them. It was then I knew I had to teach myself the finished work of Christ properly and that was how I knew I never had the problem in the first place. It was my fear that created it by believing the lies of the devil. Let me show you how I started dealing with the problem.

First of all, the Word says by the stripes of Jesus, I WAS healed! [ref. 1 Peter 2:24], so why was I still having the health challenges. The answer is simple, I didn’t believe it. It is either I believe it or I believed the circumstances I was facing. Both the house on the rock and the house on the sand faced the same challenges, but it was their foundation that made the difference [ref. Matthew 7:24-27]. Take the houses as human beings, for instance, if rain falls, you move away from where you are to a safer place because you feel the place you are isn’t safe enough. But if you see where you are as the safe place, you stay there no matter what, right? This was how I had to train my mind to understand that the Word of God is true and I wasn’t ready to listen to any other thing.

Again, the Word of God is Spirit and life, so I started speaking to the area that had issues first thing in the morning and last thing at night. Even if my body doesn’t correspond immediately, but as I become diligent at confession, it becomes part of me and my body is compelled to follow. And praise the Lord, my body has started to respond positively to healing.

One last thing you have to note is that you become what you focus on, what you read, so stay away from anything and anyone that doesn’t help to build your faith. Forget about the fact that they are professionals in the field, once it doesn’t correspond with the Word which builds your faith, STAY AWAY! The Bible again says we should be transformed by the RENEWAL of our minds [Romans 12:2]. Since Jesus has done it and it is true, my body MUST believe that. It is just a continual process which would get you your desired result. You either believe God or believe the lies of the world and you don’t get your result. Also, remember that as Jesus is right now, so are you here on earth [ref. 1 John 4:17]. Remind yourself every time a contrary message comes in. THIS IS WAR!!

The Power of Obedience in Faith

Happy weekend again everyone!

I recently went through The Gospel of John chapter 2, the area where Jesus turned water into wine. I don’t know if I’ve ever said this before, but Jesus is my role model, I just love how He handled things when He was here on earth, that authority He had as He spoke as one who is a million times sure of what He is saying. Well, that’s by the way, my focus is not just on the time Jesus went for the wedding at Cana of Galilee, but on something He did there.

As we know, the first miracle recorded by John which Jesus performed was in the turning water into wine at the wedding, yeah, we all know that. But have you cared to look at the process Jesus took in turning the water into wine? If you didn’t notice, Jesus didn’t do anything physical, He just gave instructions. What He said was, “Fill the waterpots with water… Draw some out now, and take it to the master of the feast”. His mother most definitely must have seen the result from the instructions her Son gave in time past, which was why she called Him the moment the wine finish and which was why she told the servants, “Whatever He says to you, do it”.

Where am I going with this? Jesus never performed any miracles alone, in other words, whatever He commanded couldn’t be complete without the receiver corresponding to the words. The only way the water would have turned into wine was just a simple obedience of the servants. The servants didn’t need to have faith in Him, all they needed was just to obey Him. The miracle happened through them (the servants)!

Look up the feeding of the 5,000 in any of the four Gospels, take The Gospel of John 6 for example. What Jesus simply did was to bless the bread and fish, but as He gave the bread to the disciples to share with the people, the miracle happened in the hands of the disciples.

With these and many other stories, I came an understanding that obedience is a very vital part of faith and not just believing alone. Both the servants and the disciples just obeyed. The power is in Christ, but it is only us who can activate it. Ephesians 3:20 says, “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.” God/Jesus’ has His fullness dwelling in us through the Holy Spirit, but activating it is through the obedience of faith, which is just doing it even if it doesn’t make sense (sounds funny right? But it’s true).

Both the servants and the disciples didn’t logically analyse what Jesus asked them to do. What we fail to understand is that our logical reasoning or analysis can be a hindrance to the manifestation of God’s power through us. This may appear tough but if we really desire results, we just have to trust and obey Jesus wholeheartedly. Remember, He is never wrong, it is not a man you are dealing with, full of flaws. Proverbs 3:5 says, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”

This Is The Way Out Of The Devil's Schemes

Happy Thursday everyone,

Yesterday, I wrote on how the devil, comes with his evil schemes to deceive us into thinking that we are still in bondage of chaos, which Jesus has taken away. To be a Believer is not to believe and sit down. Let me explain, everything pertaining to life and godliness has been to us in Christ Jesus [ref. 2 Peter 1:3], but do you think it is just by believing this once that everything gets transformed? To get 100% result physically, instantly, the answer is no, because we have to grow and the devil is doing everything for us not to achieve that Spiritual in our soul, which affects our body.

Now, as we became born again, in other words, as we became Believers by accepting what Jesus did by believing in Him, our Spirit was completely changed, in order words, our old spirit was abolished and a new Spirit, which is the same Spirit of Jesus, and the same Spirit of God became our Spirit [ref. 2 Corinthians 5:17; Ephesians 4:4-6]. But our soul, where our mind, will and emotions dwell still has the impressions of the old way of life, so, they have to be informed of the transformation from the old to new understanding which is done by the studying and meditation of the Word of God, where the Holy Spirit guides you into all truth. And this is what the devil is trying every day to prevent.

The Bible says in Ephesians 6:12, “For we not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere.” AMP. The devil attacks us every day, but didn’t I say the devil doesn’t have powers again? Yes, I did, so how does he attack us? Through our thoughts, by suggesting evil thoughts. This is why the Bible says in Proverbs 4:16, “Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life.” AMP. We need to watch out for every thought that comes into our minds.

But one may ask, “To watch every thought that comes into our mind would be hard work, how do we intend to achieve this?” This is very simple; we cannot focus on more than one thing at a time. If you observe, your environment and what your five senses gather are what goes through your sub conscious state, which eventually becomes your attitude. So, to allow your new nature in Christ to be your natural way of life, you need to study and meditate on the Word of God, focus on it every day to remind yourself [ref. Romans 12:2]. Philippians 4:8 says, “Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthymeditate on these things.”

If the Doctor says you have cancer, DO NOT MEDITATE ON IT! Counter it immediately with the Word of God because the Doctors news isn’t true, good report or anything praiseworthy. And it contradicts the GOOD NEWS Jesus has given you free of charge that by His stripes you WERE healed! A seed doesn’t become a tree overnight till it nurtured and taken care of, it then grows, become stronger and eventually become a tree. This is how we nurture our Spirit man every day, in order not to fall prey of the devil by focusing on Jesus ONLY. God is not going to do it because He has already done it, just key into it.

Nothing Can Harm You (Part 3)

Hello everyone,

Last time, I wrote on how powerless the devil is and how Jesus overcame the devil by the word. Today, I’ll continue from where I stopped yesterday.

Haven’t you ever wondered why Jesus never fell ill for a second, He was not poor, He never had anything that wasn’t like His Father, because He was extremely conscious of who He was which is having the life of God flowing through Him. This was why He couldn’t fall for any of the devil’s schemes. This is how we ought to operate because we have the life of Christ flowing through us which we have to be conscious of. So if the devil suggests a thought to you that you are ill, immediately counter it with the word of God telling him saying, “devil no I can’t be ill because the word of God says, ‘by the stripes of Jesus I was made healed’ also ‘as Christ is so am I’ so get thee behind me!”.

The bible says we the word of God is the sword of the Spirit, this is what we use to resist the devil and he would flee from you [ref. Ephesians 6:17; James 4:7]. The word of God is very powerful, but if you are not well equipped in the Word, the devil would come with his deceit and could carry you away with his lies. Everything that is not the word of God is a lie!
