How To Activate The Full Package (Part 2)

Happy Sunday everyone,

Yesterday, I asked a question that, having accepted Jesus as Lord and receiving the Holy Spirit in our lives, does that mean that all that we desire would just start appearing here and there? My answer was “Yes” and “No”. I explained the Yes aspect yesterday that as one accepts Jesus as Lord, immediately he becomes a joint heir with Jesus, seated with Him in the heavenly realms and is blessed with all Spiritual blessings, which of course covers every desire or need you would ever have. So that was the Yes aspect, but another question which I would explain today is, “how do we locate the Spiritual blessings given to us by Christ Jesus?” So, this is the No side of the coin that I was talking about. However, the “No” is questionable, true you don’t just get everything you need or desire all of a sudden, but as we move a particular direction, our needs start to come, I’ll explain.

Many of us think as we are blessed with all Spiritual blessings, we need to convert the Spiritual blessings into physical blessings. It sounds true, but the truth is that the Spiritual blessings have been converted already into the physical blessing. Now, Believer is seated with Christ in the heavenly realm even while here on earth, also, you must remember that the Holy Spirit dwells in you, He did not come to visit and then return, He literarily moved into you and packed every of His belongings which include the blessings which is also yours [ref. Ephesians 1:3; 2:4-6; 1 Corinthians 3:16]. So, as this is true, how do we access the full package?

Jesus said in John 15:7, “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.” Take note of the underlined phrase, many of us abide in Christ which is to accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour, but we don’t allow His words abide in us which is the part that completes everything. Psalms 119:105 says, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” The word which we must allow to abide in us is what enables us to know what God’s will is for our lives, this is where the Holy Spirit comes in, He explains and interprets what the word of Christ mean and what direction we are to take [ref. Romans 12:2; John 14:26].

When you meditate on the word of Christ and allow it to be part of you, the Holy Spirit gives you insight to things and then He directs you to the desires of your heart [ref. Joshua 1:8; Psalms 1:1-3; 37:4]. When you are walking, you won’t have need of a boat or ship, but when you arrive at the sea, you will need a ship or boat. It is then the provision is made. God doesn’t provide things for us until we have need of it. He wants us to trust Him and see Him as our source. We are to trust and believe that He would always meet us at the point of our need. His word says He will never leave us nor forsake us; also He is not a man that lies and He is the same yesterday, today and forever [ref. Hebrews 13:5, 8; Numbers 23:19]. The only issue here is trust, how well do you trust God? Believe Him, study His word to know how much He loves you and all that He has blessed you with so that you don’t become ignorant persons. The full package is available to all, just walk with Him.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!
