How Does God Expect Us To Live? (Part 2)

Hi everyone,

Recently, I’ve been writing on how we cannot serve two masters as Jesus explained to us, I also explained that most of us have unknowingly been serving mammon. I then explained yesterday the process into living the life God intends us to live which is actually serving Him and not mammon. And using Matthew 6:25-34, I explained how we are not to worry about anything as God has provided all things we would ever need this life. But isn’t this the same as what is being done already?

One thing we need to understand is that everything we would ever need has been provided for already, not in the future but now. As I said former writings, we are to live our lives as James Bond. His focus was on the mission and not the thing which He was going to obtain. God loves us beyond our imagination, and can never lie. So, what needs to know is our mission here on earth. And as each need arises, because it is needed, we get the exact need for the mission. For example, if you’re playing a game and the hero of the game got a car at level 3 in order to achieve the mission by saving the Princess, you won’t get the car in level 1 because it isn’t needed until you get to level 3.

We are on a mission which everything we ever need has been provided for, just listen to the Holy Spirit who directs us on what next to do at the exact time. We are not working to get because we already have. As you continue in Jesus, by believing, trusting and relying on Him you please the Lord, and Psalm 37:4 comes to pass which is, “delight yourself also in the LORD, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.” The desires of your heart come at the right time when you need them. God knows how to take care of His children, so He provides the right tool for the job.

We need to understand that in Christ, all things are ours as we are of Christ. Our Father is the owner of the universe and beyond, and we own the universe also, so we don’t lack anything, we call things forth at our disposal as they are needed. Remember, we have a mission to focus on, and as we follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, He tells us how to speak forth and command things in line with the mission on ground.

One thing we need to know is that, as God is our Father and source, it won’t make sense for Him to send us on a mission on empty stomach, would it? We would just die of hunger. Didn’t you see how He addressed Simon Peter’s predicament of trying to get fish all night? Just because of what Jesus did, He found out being with Jesus was everything. Don’t also forget, Jesus’ disciples weren’t Believers with the Holy Spirit, so if they were suffering, they would have left Him long ago. But the truth remained that Jesus was working on their understanding, to focus on the mission given to them and not their physical needs that had been taken care of.

We are bound to struggle and work for mammon the moment we are doing what we’re not called for. But once we know what we are called for and with the leading of the Holy Spirit, we walk our way to achieving what we have been called It’s really a state of trust in Jesus Christ, just be sure of what you have been called for.

May the LORD bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you. May the LORD be gracious to you and lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. AMEN.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!
