What is Jesus' Business With Your Bills? (Part 2)

Hello everyone,

Yesterday, I explained how even though we have received Christ as Lord, we still face challenges of our own such as bill upon bills, health issues and so on. I explained that the reason why we face these challenges is that many of us don’t know that our lives are now directed by the Holy Spirit because the Holy Spirit is the same Spirit that lives in you, who is Jesus that is now your life. So, why do we still face physical challenges in life? We face all these because we are not making full use of Who we have—the Holy Spirit!

Now that you are a Son of God, you are now on a mission, you have a purpose to fulfill here on earth. This is where we listen to the Holy Spirit for direction. As we study and meditate on the word, it helps us to discern which spirit is speaking, because only the Holy Spirit conforms with the Word of God, no other spirit can do that. So, as we listen to the Holy Spirit, He tells us what we are to do, but where we get things wrong is that even when the Holy Spirit tells us what to do, we are to ask Him how to do it, which is very important. As Moses had an encounter with God, He told Moses to cast his rod to the ground and it would become a serpent, and when he puts his hand in his bosom it would become leprous, and when he puts it back in his bosom, it would be restored, both signs and other signs were demonstrated, God showed Moses how because he said he didn’t know what to do, (ref.: Exodus 4:1-17). God ensures He explains to us till we understand.

With all these we still face challenges, when we face challenges, it is not a time to start crying to the Lord for mercy, rather it is a time to communicate one on one with the Holy Spirit asking Him where you got it wrong or what to do, and not crying. The point is that you were meant following His ways till you got stuck right? When faced with issues like bills, ask Him what you are to do, look, no matter the wrong way we have trodden, He is ever ready to bring us out and set us back on course once we look unto Him. Don’t forget, we have His Spirit, and to look unto Him is humility on its own. To cry for mercy indicates the life of a person having the old spirit that isn’t one with God. But now that we have His Spirit, we relate to Him as our Father, (ref.: Romans 8:15).

As I said earlier, we all have a purpose to fulfill and the Holy Spirit is ever ready to direct and lead us all the way. What we need to understand is that we work as a team, in other words, the Sons of God are connected with each other, it is not necessary that we know each other, but to move from point A to point B, the Holy Spirit could lead you to another Son of God to receive His message there, and that Son of God would have received a message from the Holy Spirit that you were coming. We are all connected like cells in a body, together we form the complete bride of Christ or body of Christ.

We must learn to work with the Holy Spirit, you can never as a Son of God work with Him and get into a fix, and even if you do, which definitely was your fault, He would always bring you out, just by communicating with Him as your Father, asking Him where you missed it and what you are to do, there is no challenge that is bigger than Him. Know your purpose here on earth and work with the Holy Spirit by allowing Him to lead you. Everything we do has a purpose with Christ, the house we live in, the specific car we drive, the person we marry, the country you were born to, the question is to ask Him what your purpose is, and follow His every move, but don’t forget to study and meditate on the word of God, so that you can discern the Spirit properly, because the devil can appear as wolf in sheep clothing, but He can never have the words of the Lord. Jesus is your everything, that is why He has given you His Spirit.

May the LORD bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you. May the LORD be gracious to you and lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. AMEN.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!
