Grace and Faith Can't Leave Hope Behind

Happy New Week everyone,

In my last write-up, I explained the importance of hope to faith, thus without hope, there is no faith. Hope is what connects us with the grace which God has given us through Christ, today is a continuation of yesterday’s write-up.

Faith is not a futuristic thing, it is the present event of a thing, it is a title deed that you own a particular package, now, from where you are till you go and get what has been given you, and the strength to stay focused on course is hope. Another illustration would be that you wanted a car, wanting a car is a hope on the natural level, but the moment it falls in line with the will of God for your life, because of what He intends you to use the car for, He gives you the car which is grace. You then get the information that you have been given a car, all you have to do is to accept it or reject it. To accept it is by receiving the title deed of ownership, now this is faith. From where you till you go and get the car where it is packed, the strength to stay focused without distraction is hope. Now, this hope is assuring you of the belief you have received by faith through Christ.

A man has an illness, and he hoped to get healed, this is his physical hope. As Christ has died and resurrected, this man has received a full package of complete healing, this is grace. It is left for the man to receive his package of complete healing or reject it. The man then accepts it by receiving the title deed that the complete healing is his, now this is faith. Probably within five minutes or a minute or whatever time that he would see the healing manifest, the strength to keep him focused on the title deed he has received, by not throwing it away is hope, in other words, hope in line with the will of God. So as the man walks across the room and feels a pain, maybe he hasn’t yet seen the physical manifestation of his complete healing, hope reminds him that he has received a full package of complete healing.

We have to see the importance of hope, as hope could also be known as our imagination which falls in line with that which God has given us in Christ Jesus. As you receive Christ as your new life, you have received the fullness of Christ in you, in other words, Christ entire nature or Spirit dwells in you, this is grace. Now, as we study and meditate on the word of God, explaining what we have received, you receiving it is faith. As you keep on studying and meditating on what you’ve received, this is hope which reminds you that which you have received. As you have a better understanding of what you’ve received, receiving it is faith, but maintaining your stand on what you have received is hope.

We must understand that grace, faith, and hope are connected, and we shouldn’t take hope for granted, because it really strengthens our faith.

May the LORD bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you. May the LORD be gracious to you and lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. AMEN.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!
