How To Identify The Real Message From The Fake One.

Hello everyone,

We live in a world where people are ready to deceive at every, and any level, with all these how do we know who is sincere and who isn’t, especially when it has to do with the word of God? This is because, I’ve seen people leave the church because they felt the church wasn’t sincere, or they were confused as to what message was the real message, they all call on the name of Jesus, which is even more confusing. You see leaders of the church using tithes and offering as a way to easily steal from the members and they all quote from the bible! So, with all these, how do we identify who is saying the truth and who is lying? Let’s find out.

There could be a person in our life, maybe a very close friend of yours or from your family or wherever, but you know this person so well, there are times where a third person could give you news over what your friend did, but based on how well you’ve known this person, you could easily decipher if it was a lie or not just because you’ve come to know your friend so well that you could easily tell how he speaks and could easily predict what your friend would and would not say, the same goes to knowing God/Jesus/Holy Spirit, this is why Christianity is not a religion but a relationship, because in a relationship you get to know a person personally which is what God wants us to achieve.

The word of God like any other book have words written in them, but also like any other book, there is a subject matter, whom or what it is focused on, this is very important to those born of God. Until you know who the bible is talking about, then you are on your way to being free from any form of deceit.

What we must understand is that the entire bible is talking about Jesus, so when you read it, you have to look for Jesus it every scripture, the reason is because the words in the Bible could be taken and used for other things outside its true purpose and this is what deceivers do, but this is not enough to identify the true and false way of teaching.

The bible is full of mysteries and in order to understand it properly is have the one who wrote the book explain it to you. God spoke His words to about 40 persons who wrote the bible at different periods, so how do we get to meet God? By asking Him straight up. It is by knowing who God is more and more that you would then decide if you want to be born of God or not. If you with an open and sincere heart want to know Jesus more and properly, He opens up to you. He uses several means to speak to us, but because He wants you to know Him, He would make you know the medium He is speaking with you. But still, that’s not enough.

When Paul and Silas went to preach in Berea, the bible says in Acts 17:11, “These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so. No matter what anyone preaches to you, you must search the scriptures to find out if it is in line with the original purpose of why the bible was written. Jesus was sound in the scriptures which was why He could easily identify when the devil was tempting through deceit in the use of the scriptures [ref. Matthew 4:5-7, Luke 4:9-12]. All these are not enough to decipher the true word of God, especially in a world that we live in, log on next time as I continue on this topic.

May the LORD bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you. May the LORD be gracious to you and lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. AMEN.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!
