Why Know The Perfect Will of God for Your Life Even as a Billionaire?

There are times where you had a goal, ran with it and became successful even without knowing what the perfect will of God is for your life, the question now is to show why even with all these, it is important to know what the perfect will of God is for your life.

There are people who feel they have made it in life through their hard work and in making decisions for themselves which unknown to them isn’t the perfect will of God for their lives. But they would tell you that they have everything a man could ever wish for. True, you may see the estates, companies and wealth they’ve acquired, but when I talk of the perfect will of God, it goes beyond the acquisition of wealth. Everyone has a personal side which isn’t shared with the public and this to many is the fulfillment of life.

Everyone has a hole in their heart which causes a disturbance to the soul and must be filled. This hole came about when Adam fell, and everyone who has been born has this hole, but can be filled when the right thing to fit into that hole is placed there. Many have tried to fill their individual hole, some with knowledge (degrees), some with alcohol, some with women, some, with several other things. This hole causes so much dissatisfaction until is filled with the right thing, and everyone knows this.

Some philosopher says the greatest thing to achieve is an eternal peace which can only be achieved by being fulfilled, thus filling that hole. So, the man who says he doesn’t need all these things is lying to himself. Take a look at the rich young ruler that approached Jesus, [ref. Matthew 19:16-22; Mark 10:17-22; Luke 18:18-23], after gathering all the wealth he wanted, he knew something was still missing, which was why Jesus asked him to sell all that he has, give to the poor and then follow Him, this was when the rich young ruler asked what he must do inherit the kingdom of God. It was clear that what the rich young ruler really wanted was to fulfillment in life, but wasn’t ready to switch from the carnal mind to the mind of faith.

There is nothing more relieving and fulfilling as you doing that which God loves because there is a great sense of peace and calmness of mind which you feel when you do what God tells you to do. Even if you feel there is no need to find out what God’s perfect will is for you because you feel great, just get to know. The truth is, getting to know God brings reveals a lot of things about you that you never knew, this is because the Word of God is living and active, and it is the discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart [ref. Hebrews 4:12].

Do not get things mixed up, Jesus came to make life easier and simpler for us, and not create an organised group of people who meet in a place every Sunday. Just the way you see people on the road moving about using their five senses as we know, that is how those born of the Spirit are but using faith rather than the five senses. Take a look at Jesus, He lived a normal life, not like the Pharisees who many unknowingly copy today with the ‘church craze’ (not understanding the meaning of church). Jesus did not start a religion, He brought life that all may enjoy, and this is why God wants us to know how to live this new life according to how He created us because we are designed for the new life and not the old as we think, religion is bondage and it won't make sense for God to say He wants to save us and put us in bondage again, it doesn't make sense. But are these enough reasons for the rich men to know what the perfect will of God is for their lives? Log on tomorrow to find out.
