Superheroes Have Complete Trust In The "Great One"

Hi everyone,

Last time, I elaborated on why superheroes have to be doers and not hearers alone. I explained that although we are meant to operate by faith in everything we do through the display of the authority God has given us through Jesus, but if you know you are still working on achieving this fit, one could take the person to the hospital if it is a case of health rather than just folding the arms and saying God would take control, when He has put us in charge to take control, using His authority. Today, I would look into the faith level of the superheroes and why it has to be high at all times.

In my last few write-ups, I wrote on the truth that we have been called as “superheroes”, well, superheroes would imply being called to change the world for good. But in order to change the world, we must, first of all, get to know the one who created us, He alone would be able to make it clear what we are called to do, our purpose here on earth. To know God is to first of all gain access through Jesus His Son, to gain access from Jesus is not like you need a password, it is simply just believing in Him, that is all that He died and resurrected to obtain, which is a brand new life (with great benefits). Of course this is new to many of us, but why I’m taking it through this route is that in order to operate at the level God wants us to operate in is to completely trust and rely on Jesus, in other words, we are to get to the point where we are to trust Him a hundred percent.

As I said in my last write-up when we see a sick person, for instance, we have the power in us to rebuke the unclean spirit of sickness from that person, but it all comes with what we call faith. Faith in this sense and in every sense is simply, do you believe Jesus got a permanent victory over this sickness even before now? If you do, you have to understand that it is Jesus and not you rebuking the sickness away from that person. This for me is where I believe many get it wrong, they keep seeing themselves as the ones rebuking the sickness and they unknowingly use their faith instead of the perfect faith of Jesus. You need to believe that it is the faith of Jesus that is in you, all these would get easier as you trust Jesus more and less of what the world says, that is, you need to be stable on what you stand for.

James in the book of James 1 said when a man should ask God for a thing must “be in faith that he asks with no wavering (no hesitating, no doubting). For the one who wavers (hesitates, doubts) is like the billowing surge out at sea that is blown hither and thither and tossed by the wind. For truly, let not such a person imagine that he will receive anything [he asks for] from the Lord” [James 1:6-7].

How well do you trust Jesus? This is a very important question because the display of the powers of is made manifest here on earth. So, in essence, it is very important for every superhero to trust Jesus, or else what would they impact on the person they going to save and disciple?
God through you is not you in the real sense that is displaying the power, it is Jesus who is displaying His victory through you, but only you can stand in His way because you are the medium He has chosen to solve that problem, and this can only happen at the level of your trust. The more you trust Jesus, the more you manifest the power and authority of Jesus.

May the LORD bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you. May the LORD be gracious to you and lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. AMEN.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!
