Hello everyone,
In my last write-up, I wrote on our call to be superheroes, superheroes according to what we were born to achieve. The whole essence is to transform the world we were born into and then show the people of the world that they too have a calling to transform the world and save the lost. I went further stating that the earth is just a training ground for us to qualify for the real task ahead, which is outside the earth, thus responsibilities we are to fulfill. Today, I would look into the task of the superheroes which many have lost track of unknowingly. You’ll understand when you read on.

The Bible tells of Jesus in Acts 10:38 which says, “…how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.” Jesus who of course is the word did not just sit back at home and pray for people, instead, He went out and lived the word. He had the Holy Spirit in Him, so He healed people, cast out devils from people and many more. Yes, this is the right way to act and the right approach to things, why because Jesus lived at the climax of faith which many haven’t attained in terms of action. We all have the faith of Christ, referring to those who are born of God, however, it is left to us to grow this faith.
If you go back a little to the last two paragraph where I quoted James 1:22, you will find where I underlined “deceiving yourselves”. As true superheroes here on earth, you are not just to hear the word, you are to live the word or else you would just be deceiving yourself, just as James again says in the book of James 2:14-17 says,
“What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.”
Jesus did not stay in His house to pray for Lazarus to be raised from the dead, instead, He went there and worked His faith! Likewise, we are not to see a person dying of cancer and say “It is well with you, don’t worry we will pray for you” when you have the anointing to rebuke cancer from the person’s system. Now, some may say, their faith hasn't reached that level, if your faith hasn't reached that level, then take the person to the Doctor and get money from yourself and others to save their lives, we are called to save lives. This is why Doctors exist for those whose faith hasn't reached the level where they speak the word and the trauma leaves. Of course, we understand that we are to operate by faith as Jesus did, but if you haven’t gotten there, save the person’s life the best way you can. The same goes for every other situation. Faith is backed up by action and not sitting at home praying ALONE. God did not destine anyone to die of sickness or disease.
We must understand that the obedience of faith never fails. So, if you know that your faith level can’t rebuke a sickness or command things as Jesus did at the moment you are in, call for help (NOT from a spiritualist that isn’t in Christ), and not anoint the person with oil and believe there would be transformed when your faith level hasn’t reached the level of seeing the person healed, don’t deceive yourself.
How else did Jesus get people to follow Him? He addressed that pressing needs first before bringing up His agenda. Really, no one would listen to you when you tell them to come to Christ if their pressing needs aren’t addressed. We are not just to be superheroes, but superheroes with action!
May the LORD bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you. May the LORD be gracious to you and lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. AMEN.
Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!
