How To Identify The Real Message From The Fake One (Part 2)

Hello everyone,

Previously in my write-up, I wrote on areas where we are to hold firmly to in order to identify the real message of Truth from the fake one. I was able to identify that the Bible focused on Jesus and He alone should be the only one we focus on when we study the scriptures, thus any message that brings anything outside of Jesus is a fake. I explained that in order to know God more we are to ask Him with a sincere heart and He would reveal Himself to us. Still, I also emphasised on the need to search the scriptures after listening to a message in order to ensure what we heard is based on the Truth and nothing else just as the Bereans did after listening to Apostle Paul and Silas speak. All these are very important, but they are still not enough to identify the true messages from the fake because the world is so evil that certain persons could manipulate all that I listed and present it to the people. Today, I would reveal some other important areas that would guard us against false doctrine that is not of God.

In my previous write-up, I identified the emphasis on Jesus being the main focus of the Bible and that any other message presented which is not centred on Jesus is a false doctrine. When Jesus was here on earth, every message He gave was based on the kingdom of God, His parable, miracles and other were all based on the kingdom of God. This goes to show that there is a focus which anyone who paid attention to what Jesus said would have known that it was always based on the kingdom of God. Today, after the resurrection of Jesus, Jesus has made us know that the kingdom of God can be found in Him, because the Bible says in Acts 17:28, “for in Him we live and move and have our being…” also, 2 Peter 1:3-4 says, “as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” And all these include the kingdom of God.

Now, many preachers have unknowingly tilted away from Jesus to preach morals. They may look alike because an individual who is Christ is expected to be morally upright, however, morality can be faked and is not even close enough to the Truth, or else, why didn’t the Pharisees with their morality identify the Truth when He came. Also, every religion preaches morality which shows that you don’t need Jesus for that even when they quote out of the Bible. If anyone is just focused on morals, that is not the Truth and is a fake doctrine. This may surprise you.

Many of us have caught up with the tricks and deceits of the devil, the devil’s aim is just for everyone to look away from Christ that’s all. There are many people who are excellent in their moral upbringing and still don’t know Jesus, for someone like that, the devil is happy, and sadly, this is what many churches are preaching today.

There is only one message, and that is Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection altogether, and what it has to do with us. In other words, Christ resurrection talks of love and an establishment of a new creation, with Him being the first born in this new creation and how we too can join Him in this new creation because He has saved and rescued us from God’s wrath and so on. The resurrection speaks of the coming of the Holy Spirit and how God lives in us through the Holy Spirit.

Many would say that their Pastors preach on all these, but when you take a closer look, is there an emphasis on self-effort or Christ-effort? That is the food for thought, which I’ll look into in my next write-up.

May the LORD bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you. May the LORD be gracious to you and lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. AMEN.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!
