It’s New Year everyone,
It’s a New Year and everyone can’t wait to set out with their goals for the New Year 2019. We have 365 days, 8,760 hours, 525,600 minutes, and 31,536,000 seconds, which has already started ticking. One thing we need to know is that time was created for our purpose. It was given to us to manage our lives, which implies that every second that passes through this year is meant to have a purpose. We are to make profitable use of every second that passes by this year.
We often say Rome wasn’t built in a year, even your house in an accumulation of brick upon properly arranged to meet a particular design, but it all started with one brick, what does this mean? It means do not despise the little seconds because these little seconds forms minutes, which later forms hours, and days, and months and eventually the year comes to an end. So, your success in this year doesn’t just come from how you spend your day, rather it comes from paying attention to the little seconds.
We must have heard the saying, “penny wise, pound foolish.” This is the opportunity to start that project, starting it bit by bit, and not waiting for the last minutes or hours where you just muddle things up and your best isn’t given to the task or whatever you want to do.
In all that you do by making diligent use of the seconds is determined by having a plan and a purpose, and the only place you would get the perfect plan for your life and how to go about it in this 2019 is from the Lord God Almighty (ref.: Jeremiah 29:11). Your success is in following the plans you have received and not leaving it for procrastination. Remember, any second lost cannot be regained.
Be that diligent person that follows God’s plans and see the year 2019 the year where you stand before Kings and people of high places and not mere men (ref.: Proverbs 22:29). Go for the best, go to Jesus and allow Him to direct your plans for the year 2019, and see yourself crying tears of joy at the end of this year for the success you have achieved.
Don’t forget your attention to the little seconds, gives you your successful year. Do have a blessed and prosperous 2019. AMEN.
May the LORD bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you. May the LORD be gracious to you and lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. AMEN.
Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!
