Making Faith and Not Making Sense

Hello everyone,

When I look around me, everywhere I go, as I see the how people live their lives, there is one thing I notice, and that is the presence of limitation. There is a ‘chip’ of limitation planted in the minds of everyone on earth. But as you draw to Jesus, you notice there is more to life than how we live. In other words, you feel limited. And when you receive Jesus into your life, you receive a new life off limitation. The truth then when living the life of Christ would appear to the world as living a life not making sense. Then, if the life of Christ is not a life making sense, then what life are is it making?

When a man falls sick and all of a sudden he says he isn’t sick but healed because someone took his sickness and gave him His health. Again, another person said she was meant to carry out a duty which would involve a certain amount of money, but as she checked her bank statement, it was red. But she said she isn’t broke because someone took her poverty in exchange for His riches. And several people with similar stories. These aren’t making sense, but it is when you find out who they have placed their confidence that you find out they aren’t making sense, rather they are making faith.

You see, the scriptures say, the just shall live by faith and walk by faith (ref.: Romans 1:17; 2 Corinthians 5:7), this doesn’t mean being optimistic, rather it means resting on the words of the this “someone” who has taken them away from their limitations and brought them to a life of being unlimited. The promises of this “someone” are beyond the understanding of man. But the truth is, as long He said it, it will NOT come to pass, why? Because it has happened! This is what makes it not to make sense.

It is only when you find out that this someone is God/Jesus that you then understand that they weren’t making sense all these while, rather, they were making faith. The words of God are ye and amen, He doesn’t say anything that hasn’t happened, why because He exists outside of time and space, so whatever He says, has happened already, but it is when it is brought within time as and space that it falls within a specific time and space, or a time of manifestation. But one is certain after relying on His words, you will come back with a testimony.

Making faith is a complete reliance on Jesus and not on the situation you see yourself which isn’t in line with the words of God. Only believe the words of God and not on any other thing. This is quite tough, but when you get to know who this Jesus is, then you trust, confidence and dependence in Him would continue to increase, there and then you would why these guys appeared as though they weren’t making sense but making faith, because, the words of Jesus/God surpasses all things in the universe, but it is only when we decide to rely on His words that His promises affect our situation. So, meditate on the word of God, rely on the Holy Spirit, then you would stop making sense, but you’ll be making faith, and you’ll see your life go from limits to no limits.

May the LORD bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you. May the LORD be gracious to you and lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. AMEN.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!
