How To Identify The Real Message From The Fake One.

Hello everyone,

We live in a world where people are ready to deceive at every, and any level, with all these how do we know who is sincere and who isn’t, especially when it has to do with the word of God? This is because, I’ve seen people leave the church because they felt the church wasn’t sincere, or they were confused as to what message was the real message, they all call on the name of Jesus, which is even more confusing. You see leaders of the church using tithes and offering as a way to easily steal from the members and they all quote from the bible! So, with all these, how do we identify who is saying the truth and who is lying? Let’s find out.

There could be a person in our life, maybe a very close friend of yours or from your family or wherever, but you know this person so well, there are times where a third person could give you news over what your friend did, but based on how well you’ve known this person, you could easily decipher if it was a lie or not just because you’ve come to know your friend so well that you could easily tell how he speaks and could easily predict what your friend would and would not say, the same goes to knowing God/Jesus/Holy Spirit, this is why Christianity is not a religion but a relationship, because in a relationship you get to know a person personally which is what God wants us to achieve.

The word of God like any other book have words written in them, but also like any other book, there is a subject matter, whom or what it is focused on, this is very important to those born of God. Until you know who the bible is talking about, then you are on your way to being free from any form of deceit.

What we must understand is that the entire bible is talking about Jesus, so when you read it, you have to look for Jesus it every scripture, the reason is because the words in the Bible could be taken and used for other things outside its true purpose and this is what deceivers do, but this is not enough to identify the true and false way of teaching.

The bible is full of mysteries and in order to understand it properly is have the one who wrote the book explain it to you. God spoke His words to about 40 persons who wrote the bible at different periods, so how do we get to meet God? By asking Him straight up. It is by knowing who God is more and more that you would then decide if you want to be born of God or not. If you with an open and sincere heart want to know Jesus more and properly, He opens up to you. He uses several means to speak to us, but because He wants you to know Him, He would make you know the medium He is speaking with you. But still, that’s not enough.

When Paul and Silas went to preach in Berea, the bible says in Acts 17:11, “These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so. No matter what anyone preaches to you, you must search the scriptures to find out if it is in line with the original purpose of why the bible was written. Jesus was sound in the scriptures which was why He could easily identify when the devil was tempting through deceit in the use of the scriptures [ref. Matthew 4:5-7, Luke 4:9-12]. All these are not enough to decipher the true word of God, especially in a world that we live in, log on next time as I continue on this topic.

May the LORD bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you. May the LORD be gracious to you and lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. AMEN.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!

Be Sincere With Yourself

Hello everyone,

Many of us pray to God and expect answers to our prayers, but there are times we don’t get any answers to our prayers and we wonder if God really cared. I used to face this same challenge in my life at a point in time, I felt God’s rules were too much that I couldn’t identify what He wanted me to do that would allow Him to answer my prayer. It wasn’t until He used the farmer’s story before I understood God always wanted to answer my prayers but I was the one who stood in His way. So what is this farmer’s story?

A farmer picked a particular seed which He would take about six months before its harvest after planting, but six months after planting the farmer was not even close to harvest, what went wrong? The farmer did not make up his mind on where he wanted to plant his seed. Sometimes, he would plant the seed at a spot and tomorrow he would dig up the seed and plant it at another spot, feeling that spot was better for it. He did this many times during the six months period that the seed didn’t germinate properly and wasn’t growing well, and why was that? It was because the farmer kept interrupting growth process of the crop he planted. It very simple, there won’t be growth for the crop until the farmer makes up his mind where he wants to plant the crop and leaves it there, likewise, there won’t be answers to our prayers until we are sincere with ourselves when we tell God something.

There are times we would tell God we would do a thing at a particular period but we eventually do not do so. What we fail to realise is that our actions serve as seeds to the result we want to get. If we don’t make up our mind about a thing, how would God take you seriously? So, it is not because God doesn’t want to bless you, but it is you who have prevented Him from answering your prayer.

God doesn’t answer prayers of His children until they make up their mind. There is a reward for consistency which is the answered prayer. Periods differ from each other, but no matter the period of time, we must be consistent to the end at a particular request made.

Faith requires consistency, you cannot continue to toss to and fro with your faith. God cannot answer without you being serious about what you want. Proverbs 22:29 says, “Do you see a man who excels in his work? He will stand before kings; he will not stand before unknown men.” What does this mean? Don’t expect to get a result if you are consistent with a particular thing, in this case, a thing well done. For God, being sincere to ourselves is what He wants to see. We should say a thing and do a different thing and expect to get a result, from which one?

Paul in addressing the Corinthians spoke of how the church grew in a region, he said, He planted, while Apollos another apostle watered and it was then God gave the increase [ref.: 1 Corinthians 3:6]. Why? It was because God was sure about what they wanted. God did not create this earth to operate in a state of anarchy, which would imply that God set certain laws governing this earth.

Also, there are times God wants us to get mature in certain areas before He grants us answers to our prayers. And don’t it wrong, He has given us a counselor to guide us till perfection, He has also appointed certain people ordained by Him to bring us up to speed to know God through faith, He would never leave us alone.

So, if you pray to God over a thing and you aren’t seeing any result, before you start to complain to God, check yourself if you’ve been true to your words, so as to give God a clear view of your request. He is always there to answer us, you just have to be sincere with yourself and to God.

He Always Had Us In Mind

Happy new week everyone,

You must have heard people say they found Christ, something like, “When I found Christ, my life change.” But no one found Christ, Christ not only found us, He chose us. John 15:16 says, “You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.” Christ chose us, but some may say, Christ only called the elected ones, but that’s not true.

Romans 1:20 says, “For since the creation of the world His invisible attribute are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse.” God has called everyone but it is not everyone who responds to the call. John 1:12 says, “But to as many as did receive and welcome Him [Jesus], He gave the authority (power, privilege, right) to become the children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name.” We have to understand that God had us in mind from the very beginning.

To those who received Christ now fall into the plans God had for man or the person in particular, for Ephesians 1:5 says, “…having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.” With all these, verse 11 of Ephesians 1 went further to say, “In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory.” And how do we be the praise of His glory? By being the salt and light of the world [Matthew 5:13-16].

Every day the Holy Spirit keeps calling those who are not saved and keeps guiding those who are saved. We don’t have a Father who doesn’t care about us, on the contrary, we have a Father who cares and loves us more than we could ever imagine. All we have to do is to tap into knowing and understanding Him.

Who Makes Our Words Become a Reality?

Hello everyone,

I’ve been able to understand the power of our word especially in line with our actions, on other words, our words create our actions, but there are things which actually make our words become our action. Why would my statement cause a thing to react, true my words are full of command, but in regards to those who are born of God (True Christians), we have received the authority of Christ by grace through Christ, now, having received this authority, what is actually making my words or declaration become a reality in terms of our actions? Let’s find out.

Our words are commands, and who is to carry out our commands, let’s take a look at Hebrews 1:14, “Are not the angels all ministering spirits (servants) sent out in the service [of God for the assistance] of those who are to inherit salvation?” AMP. The authority we carry is from Christ which commands more authority than any other authority that existed, exists and would ever exist, and when we speak angels ensure what we spoke comes to pass. As we move along after declaring our words, we get ideas and insights on and on which we put into action and eventually lead to what we declared, but these ideas were engineered by the angels who followed accordingly to what you declared. The same thing happens when we pray.

Hebrews 1:7 says, “Referring to the angels He says, [God] Who makes His angels winds and His ministering servants flames of fire.” AMP. In line with this Psalm 104:4 says, “Who [God] makes winds His messengers, flames of fire His ministers.” AMP. Angels could come in form of wind where they carry messages and deliver messages according to words spoken. Angels are messengers, they ensure balance within their jurisdiction, in order words they keep the balance of everything that God created following the principles God put down in order to prevent chaos and the destruction of the universe. The angels also fight to ensure that our words achieve its aim.

The angels are very important beings who are with us everywhere we go, so as Sons of God, we have to be careful how we speak because when we speak, the angels pick up these words. So, when we say walls have ears, it is angels who have ears, so watch what you say and think in your heart, for Proverbs 4:23 says, “Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life.” AMP.

God Created Everything Perfect

Hello everyone,

We all want a better life, well I’m not referring to finance, what I’m referring to is good health without any disabilities. To further buttress my point, let’s look at John 9:1-5:

“Now as Jesus passed by, He saw a man who was blind from birth. And His disciples asked Him, saying, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him. I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”

We see many people who have disabilities in different ways, or infirmities, diseases, and sicknesses, and we conclude that it is God who makes people disabled or with infirmities but this is not true, so if this isn’t true, how did all these happen?

First of all, we must remember that God called all His creation perfect in Genesis 1, it was until Adam ate of the forbidden fruit that He gave over His control of the world to the devil. It was the sinful nature that brought about the chaos into the world. However, through the shedding of blood from a perfect man-Jesus, there was the remission of sin, in order words Jesus came to save mankind from the chaos that the Adam put the world into, which was why in John 9:4a and 5, He said, “I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day… As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”

Jesus came to transform the world, first by becoming the sacrifice that led to saving the world, He raised disciples who He gave authority to go and make disciples of all nation and to transform the lives of people, bringing them back to the way God intended them to be.

Jesus has made those who are born of God salt and light of the world [ref.: Matthew 5:13-16] as He was while He was here on earth, in order words, we are to give sight to the blind, cast out demons from those who are oppressed, heal those who have infirmities and other things that are related to these. Whoever we see suffering from any form of disability that needs healing or care who comes our way, we are to express the practical love of Christ towards the person, we have been given the authority of Christ for us to put to use here on earth.

Matthew 5:16 says, “Let your light so shine before men that they may see your moral excellence and your praiseworthy, noble, and good deeds and recognise and honour and praise and glorify your Father Who is in heaven.” AMP. So, think of it, what moral excellence or good deeds would you display that would make people praise God for, praying at home? No, it would be a practical display of you transforming the lives of people positively.

God did not create anyone with disabilities or infirmities, it is the sinful nature which brought all form of chaos upon the world. God is merciful and just, and He has placed all these in those born of God to express this to the world while here on earth.

Just as a Soldier (Part 2)

Happy weekend everyone,

Last time, I took a look at Revelation 12:11, where I explained how those born of God overcame the schemes by the blood of the Lamb and the words of their testimony. With that I explained that there is one thing to overcome through the blood of the Lamb, thus confessing the victory Christ has given us through faith, while another is to showcase the victory of Jesus is your everyday life and how the victory came to play thus giving glory of God which in turn overcomes the devil, this is the testimony that Revelation 12:11 talked about.

Revelation 12:11 says, “And they have overcome (conquered) him [the devil] by means of the blood of the Lamb and by the utterance of their testimony, for they did not love and cling to life even when faced with death [holding their lives cheap till they had to die for their witnessing].” AMP. Overcoming the devil with the devil the blood of the Lamb and with the words of our testimony is like completely ignoring the devil, which makes the devil very angry, because you keep meditating on the word day and night confessing the victory of Christ and how the victory keep manifesting in your life, this is so deep that you don’t have time to listen to the devil because you are occupied with the word of God. But it doesn’t end there.

The second half of the verse says, “…for they did not love and cling to life even when faced with death [holding their lives cheap till they had to die for their witnessing].” AMP. We need to understand that the moment we become born of God, Jesus becomes our life, in other words, what the second part of the verse means is that those who overcame did not love themselves, they were willing to die for Christ. On a normal day, a man is ready to die for his life, which is the same for those born of God, just that what we call life differs from that regular man call life, Christ is our life [ref.: Colossians 3:4].

To go the extra mile to die for your life is to have proper understanding that what we used to call life is practically worthless compared to what we received in Christ, thus we have seen the great value which cannot be compared with the human understanding, that which is priceless. Until we get to this level, it would appear as if those who do this have lost their minds, and it would also give room for the devil to attack you with his deception. So, really, the choice is yours.

Just as a Soldier

Hi everyone,

I respect the military for their hard work. Their officers are trained to be alert and focused, they are also trained to observe the strategies to their opponent so as not to be taken unaware. Just as we have military officers here on earth tackling physical forces, so also do we have the Sons of God who are to be alert and watchful just as the soldiers but not tackling physical forces, instead, spiritual forces.

Ephesians 6 talks about our spiritual warfare what we wrestle against and the armour of God which we are to put on. I explained before that what we wrestle against is the lies and deceit of the devil and what we are to do is to maintain all that Jesus died and resurrected to obtain for us. When you take a look at Revelation 12:11, it talks of the accuser of the brethren-the devil, who keeps bringing before God charges against us day and night. But verse 11 speaks on how we make use of the armour of God at a closer view, it says, “And they have overcome (conquered) him [the devil] by means of the blood of the Lamb and by the utterance of the their testimony, for they did not love and cling to life even when faced with death [holding their lives cheap till they had to die for their witnessing].”

As I said, we have to overcome the devil’s schemes through maintaining what Jesus died and resurrected to obtain for us, and this is overcoming through the blood of the Lamb. The blood of the Lamb [Jesus] gave us victory as it washed off all our iniquities, which God Himself said He would by no means remember [ref.: Isaiah 43:25; Hebrews 8:12]; the armour of God fully explains how what the blood has done and how the devil’s accusations cannot stand.

With all these, what is very important is not just to stop at the stop at speaking at what Jesus had done on the cross, but we are to move ahead by giving a testimony of the power and authority of the finished work of Jesus in your life and how it has used, and the victories putting the devil to shame more and more.

The deception of the devil has caused a lot disunity and lack of trust among ourselves and the lack of focus from Jesus. This is not the end, log on next time as I continue from where I stopped today.

May the LORD bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you. May the LORD be gracious to you and lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. AMEN.

Without Unity, There Is No Transformation

Hello everyone,

When we look at the human body or an organisation, there is something called teamwork which is very important in order to achieve a specific goal. For the body, every cell receives a command from the brain in order to perform, there is the form of unity where nothing goes out of place, there is order as there is a function each cell, tissue, and organ is to perform. The same goes for everyone who are sons and daughters of God.

Romans 12:4 -5 says, “For as in one physical body we have many parts (organs, members) and all of these parts do not have the same function or use, so we, numerous as we are, are one body in Christ (the Messiah) and individually we are parts one of another [mutually dependent on one another].” AMP. The Message version says, “In this way we are like the various parts of a human body. Each part gets its meaning from the body as a whole, not the other way around. The body of chosen people. Each of us finds our meaning and function as a part of his body. But as a chopped-off finger or cut-off toe we wouldn’t amount to much, would we?”

Within the body of Christ, no matter what function or ability we operate on, we have to understand that we all have a common goal, in other words, Mr. A’s function at a point could require assisting Mr. B to achieve his mission. To make that clearer, a man is not an island and with that, we need each other to function as a team in achieving the collective goal even with our individual mission. It really doesn’t make any sense where there would be competition or disunity among ourselves, but sadly this is seen in the ecclesiastical organisational body of the church. If this happens, it implies we have no proper understanding of what our mission is, because we really need to work together, or hasn’t it occurred to you that we are the ones Jesus sent to save the world. Yes, He has paved the way for us through His resurrection, it is left to us to continue from where He stopped as He has given us the great commission before He went to heaven, therefore we know what to do.

Again Romans 8:19 says, “For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.” If the world is not transformed it is because the church is not doing its job. Jesus ensured that He gave those He came across a taste of perfection and we are to continue in His footstep to unleash heaven on earth, now that we have the fullness of Christ in us. If there is no unity in the body of Christ then there won’t be transformation here on earth and it means the body of Christ is not focused which is what the devil wants, and we shouldn't allow that.

Superheroes Have Complete Trust In The "Great One"

Hi everyone,

Last time, I elaborated on why superheroes have to be doers and not hearers alone. I explained that although we are meant to operate by faith in everything we do through the display of the authority God has given us through Jesus, but if you know you are still working on achieving this fit, one could take the person to the hospital if it is a case of health rather than just folding the arms and saying God would take control, when He has put us in charge to take control, using His authority. Today, I would look into the faith level of the superheroes and why it has to be high at all times.

In my last few write-ups, I wrote on the truth that we have been called as “superheroes”, well, superheroes would imply being called to change the world for good. But in order to change the world, we must, first of all, get to know the one who created us, He alone would be able to make it clear what we are called to do, our purpose here on earth. To know God is to first of all gain access through Jesus His Son, to gain access from Jesus is not like you need a password, it is simply just believing in Him, that is all that He died and resurrected to obtain, which is a brand new life (with great benefits). Of course this is new to many of us, but why I’m taking it through this route is that in order to operate at the level God wants us to operate in is to completely trust and rely on Jesus, in other words, we are to get to the point where we are to trust Him a hundred percent.

As I said in my last write-up when we see a sick person, for instance, we have the power in us to rebuke the unclean spirit of sickness from that person, but it all comes with what we call faith. Faith in this sense and in every sense is simply, do you believe Jesus got a permanent victory over this sickness even before now? If you do, you have to understand that it is Jesus and not you rebuking the sickness away from that person. This for me is where I believe many get it wrong, they keep seeing themselves as the ones rebuking the sickness and they unknowingly use their faith instead of the perfect faith of Jesus. You need to believe that it is the faith of Jesus that is in you, all these would get easier as you trust Jesus more and less of what the world says, that is, you need to be stable on what you stand for.

James in the book of James 1 said when a man should ask God for a thing must “be in faith that he asks with no wavering (no hesitating, no doubting). For the one who wavers (hesitates, doubts) is like the billowing surge out at sea that is blown hither and thither and tossed by the wind. For truly, let not such a person imagine that he will receive anything [he asks for] from the Lord” [James 1:6-7].

How well do you trust Jesus? This is a very important question because the display of the powers of is made manifest here on earth. So, in essence, it is very important for every superhero to trust Jesus, or else what would they impact on the person they going to save and disciple?
God through you is not you in the real sense that is displaying the power, it is Jesus who is displaying His victory through you, but only you can stand in His way because you are the medium He has chosen to solve that problem, and this can only happen at the level of your trust. The more you trust Jesus, the more you manifest the power and authority of Jesus.

Superheroes Are Doers Not Just Hearers Alone

Hello everyone,

In my last write-up, I wrote on our call to be superheroes, superheroes according to what we were born to achieve. The whole essence is to transform the world we were born into and then show the people of the world that they too have a calling to transform the world and save the lost. I went further stating that the earth is just a training ground for us to qualify for the real task ahead, which is outside the earth, thus responsibilities we are to fulfill. Today, I would look into the task of the superheroes which many have lost track of unknowingly. You’ll understand when you read on.

I take my focus from the book of James 1:22 which says, “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.” There are many people who live this life as hearers alone and forget that they have to back up what they’ve heard with action. As I’ve been writing recently concerning the word of God, we understand that it is alive and living, so powerful that it gets to the deepest part of our being which nothing can ever get to. The word is also the discerner of the thought and intents of our hearts, [ref.: Hebrews 4:12]. To have faith is tied up to hearing the word, which convicts the hearer of so many things, thus giving the hearer a new orientation to what life really is. It shows one what to do and how to do it, all these would happen when the person receives the word into his life, as we now know that the word is Jesus Himself. After this, the one who guides the hearer on how to live is the Holy Spirit, but one thing is clear, the Holy Spirit lives in us not just for teaching alone but for action, what to do, thus the “doings” in the world.

The Bible tells of Jesus in Acts 10:38 which says, “…how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.” Jesus who of course is the word did not just sit back at home and pray for people, instead, He went out and lived the word. He had the Holy Spirit in Him, so He healed people, cast out devils from people and many more. Yes, this is the right way to act and the right approach to things, why because Jesus lived at the climax of faith which many haven’t attained in terms of action. We all have the faith of Christ, referring to those who are born of God, however, it is left to us to grow this faith.

If you go back a little to the last two paragraph where I quoted James 1:22, you will find where I underlined “deceiving yourselves”. As true superheroes here on earth, you are not just to hear the word, you are to live the word or else you would just be deceiving yourself, just as James again says in the book of James 2:14-17 says,
“What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.”

Jesus did not stay in His house to pray for Lazarus to be raised from the dead, instead, He went there and worked His faith! Likewise, we are not to see a person dying of cancer and say “It is well with you, don’t worry we will pray for you” when you have the anointing to rebuke cancer from the person’s system. Now, some may say, their faith hasn't reached that level, if your faith hasn't reached that level, then take the person to the Doctor and get money from yourself and others to save their lives, we are called to save lives. This is why Doctors exist for those whose faith hasn't reached the level where they speak the word and the trauma leaves. Of course, we understand that we are to operate by faith as Jesus did, but if you haven’t gotten there, save the person’s life the best way you can. The same goes for every other situation. Faith is backed up by action and not sitting at home praying ALONE. God did not destine anyone to die of sickness or disease.

We must understand that the obedience of faith never fails. So, if you know that your faith level can’t rebuke a sickness or command things as Jesus did at the moment you are in, call for help (NOT from a spiritualist that isn’t in Christ), and not anoint the person with oil and believe there would be transformed when your faith level hasn’t reached the level of seeing the person healed, don’t deceive yourself.

How else did Jesus get people to follow Him? He addressed that pressing needs first before bringing up His agenda. Really, no one would listen to you when you tell them to come to Christ if their pressing needs aren’t addressed. We are not just to be superheroes, but superheroes with action!

The True Superheroes

Happy Sunday everyone,

I enjoy watching superhero cartoons, watching how they save people from danger and sometimes even save the world. Sometimes, I watch them so much that I start behaving like them even at my age. With all these, we know they are all figments of people’s imagination. But do you know there are true superheroes living among us? Let’s find out.

In life, we often have goals and ambition, what to study in school, what grade to aim at, where we want to work, also how many figures we want to see roll into our bank account every month, the type of house, car, and even the life we want to live? All these are what man often aim at, but those who have actually climbed the ladder don’t feel satisfied, especially with their environment, so some decide to give back to the society to make the world a better place. But even with this, there is still a form of lack of satisfaction, that satisfaction which some call, the attainment of inner peace. There is this hole in their heart to do something, but guess what? Until you become a superhero and know what super powers you have hidden inside of you, you will still have that lack of satisfaction.

The disturbance in your spirit is a call from the one who gave you your superpowers. Your being is designed to function in that super ability, which is why you need to know what your superpowers are, and how to function. To be called into the super league is to save the lives of people just the way you see the superheroes save lives on TV. But if you watch the way these superheroes on TV save lives, they save according to their abilities. Why do things in certain areas if that is not your calling even if you feel like doing it. Doing exactly what you are called for is what you are to do, and among that is to save lives, using your abilities the right way.

In order to join the super league to find out your super strength, you need to meet with the Great One who would show you who you are and your abilities, but in order to know more, you must meditate upon the Great Words of the Great One which explains who you are and what your powers are exactly. The more you meditate, the more you bring out your super abilities.

Everyone has a purpose here on earth which the Great One-God has put in our heart. We are empowered by the Great One who then lives in us as the Holy Spirit, who then enables us to identify our superpowers, which are the talents and gifts He placed in us. These are what we are to use to transform the world. Our talent was not to make money for ourselves but to save the lives of the lost, transform their world and bring them into the super league to identify their mission and then save other lives. Do you think that is all we were created to do? Nope.

There are other things aside saving people’s lives that we are meant to do. We were all supposed to find out our strengths here on earth, save those who don’t know this to prepare for the great battle ahead, which is our life after this earth. What do think Jesus meant when He said, He has gone to prepare a place for us, [ref.: John 14:3]. The scriptures give a hint of what we would be doing as it says, we would judge angels, [ref.: 1 Corinthians 6:3]. There are great things full of responsibilities that we are to handle, our training ground is here on earth to prepare us for the great adventure with the Great One. It is a dawning of a new era, get ready because you are the TRUE SUPERHERO.

May the LORD bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you. May the LORD be gracious to you and lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. AMEN.

Don't Play Table Tennis With Your Life

Hi everyone,

Many of us want to see things happening for good in our lives, things such as financial turnaround, sound health, and other similar things. We often say more action less talk, right? True but for there to be a complete miracle, healing, breakthrough, spiritual and physical progress, good success, prosperity, divine favour, being planted by the rivers of waters, you need to believe and know what you have been given and believe and then receive what you have been given. You have to maintain a stand for what you have, you need to see it, why? Because it exists already, many of us are not patient, and we must remember that patience is among the fruit of the spirit. Patience is a very powerful tool which we must have and develop in our lives because faith works with patience.

We need to understand that what is synonymous with faith and fear is focus, but you can’t have both faith and fear at the same time. When we don’t see success easily but failures, is because to be focused on fear, you must doubt and when you doubt, you are not working with faith. You can’t sit on the fence, you are either for or against, in other words, you are either for the faith of for fear, which would imply that you either believe what has been given to you or you doubt it.

We are not to play table tennis in faith and fear, it is planting a seed and then removing it, and planting it again and then removing it, and we expect to see the result, we then cry to God for not helping you, where you were not helping yourself. The reason why we sometimes play table tennis with faith and fear is that in order to believe, you have to be creative, and creativity is what brings about something new, something no one has ever seen before. Of course, why would you doubt what you’ve seen before, it doesn’t make sense. You can only doubt what you’ve not seen before.

The Bible says the just or righteous shall live by faith, (ref.: Habakkuk 2:4), in other words, the just shall be creative, or better still, the just must be creative. Take a look at God in the creation story, He displayed creativity, (ref.: Genesis 1). Why this shouldn’t be a thing of surprise is that we serve a God of creativity, which is the authority He gave Christ in His resurrection, and it is the same authority we possess because we are joint heirs with Christ, and as He is so are we in this world, (ref.: Romans 8:17, 1 John 4:17).

God the Father knows all that we need, (ref.: Matthew 6:32), and to succeed in life you must have a focus and a stand, this brings out the creative authority of Christ in you, (ref.: Ephesians 3:20). And to strengthen us, we must remember that we serve a God who has provided all that we would ever need, as I said you’re just to stand on what you believe, because as Jesus told those He performed miracles with, He said, “…as you have believed, so let it be done for you.”

May the LORD bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you. May the LORD be gracious to you and lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. AMEN.

Watch Out, The Devil is a Crook!

Hello everyone,

In my last write-up, I focused on what our spiritual warfare truly is and the right way to fight from victory and not for victory because victory has already been attained which we are to tap into in Christ. However, there are things we do which are wrong that has to do with the sinful nature. Many times the devil has used this attack us by making reference to the sin we committed. But we know that if nothing the devil says is true, how are we to fight FROM victory when we sin?

To properly understand what to do when we sin is to, first of all, understand where you stand spiritually, in order words, are you under Christ or the old nature of the first Adam. We have to understand that under the first Adam, an act of righteousness did not make us righteous because we were in sin, while an act of sin doesn’t make you a sinner under Christ, this is because it is our foundation that determines our righteous or non-righteousness and not our actions. Our actions with time would reflect our foundation, in order words as you remain in Christ you start to act more and more like Christ.

A Pastor I listened to gave an analogy of sin, he said the wine is that which makes the man fall and not the man himself because he is not in control of himself. Likewise, it is the sin in a man that makes him fall and not him who actually wants to sin, but Jesus has taken away the sin in us and has replaced it with the Holy Spirit, so it is the Holy Spirit in us that would make us live the life of the finished work of Christ. With what the Pastor said, it is ignorance that makes the righteous fall, that is, we are running a race of perfection, as we get to know more of Jesus, and we get to behave like him more and more. But as we are knowing Him the areas in our lives which haven’t been transformed in form of action makes us falter even though our focus is on the transformation of our soul, the devil then comes in to attack us of our flaws. Now with this, what are we to do?

As one who is righteous, he lives his life getting perfected, but the devil turns the table around emphasising on the wrong you have done. Now, feeling sorry and feeling guilty are two different things, and this is very important to note. The sense of guilt comes from the devil. When someone accuses you of something you did wrong is making you feel guilty of your wrong and only the devil does this, this is why he is the accuser of the brethren, [ref. Revelation 12:10]. But on the other hand, the sense of you being sorry on your own is recognising you need to be closer to God and this is what being born of Christ is all about. Jesus doesn’t accuse us of our flaw, rather He fellowships with us, thus having a relationship with us. This makes us stronger and better sons of God; this was what Jesus did to the woman caught in the act of adultery, [ref. John 8:1-12].

We must remember that in our growth in Christ, we would do things that are not Christ-like, being sorry implies that you are not in support of your actions and want to be closer to Christ in order to be perfect all the more. Guilt, on the other hand, is from the devil, and it weakens your spiritual growth because you would start focusing on your wrong and not on Christ.

May the LORD bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you. May the LORD be gracious to you and lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. AMEN.
