What Actually Shapes Your Destiny? (Part 2)

Happy Sunday to you all,

Yesterday, I wrote about the thing that had been the determining factor of our destiny which is our tongue, in order words, what we say is a form of declaration and it shapes our destiny and not what we study or what we do in action. What we say serves as a guide to whatever thing we do later in terms of our job, marriage, successes, failure, and so on. Jesus has given us everything that pertains to life and godliness, it then left to us to receive it. Our heart is a key factor which our words correspond to. For out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks, and we are to guard our hearts with diligence for out of it flows the issues of life [ref. Matthew 12:34, Proverbs 4:23].

When we take a look at all what I’ve been saying, it appears anyone could declare and things happen. Now, before I go into what I was about to say here, a lot of people might expect things to happen like all of a sudden kind of thing. Well, it did happen all of a sudden, but not every time does that thing come to you in the physical form immediately, they only come at the right time. God designed the earth and every other thing in such preciseness and order, nothing can just fall out of place. Things happen when they are to happen according to what has been spoken. Whether we like it or not, needs and not wants are provided.

Now, earlier I said when we take a look at what I’ve been saying, it appears anyone could declare a thing and it would just happen so what makes Believers different from other people who could say a thing and it happens? The Believer and people of the world do not declare things of the same power or authority. The ability to declare a thing it happens by anyone was the ability God gave mankind in Genesis when He created man. So, the ability people use easily is the ability of the first Adam, but the ability, power, and authority used by Believers is the authority of the last Adam, Jesus Christ. All authority including that which we others make use of is under His command. There is no authority that is up to His level or greater, not now or in the age that would ever come [Philippians 2:8-11, Ephesians 1:20-23].

Jesus has the final say in any and every matter, He has control in heaven, earth and under the earth which the people of this world do not possess. This is the power that every Believer gets once He becomes a Believer, the only issue is to know that you possess it and use it properly, because many Believers do not know such authority they carry, that’s why we have the scriptures to tell us who we really are and the Holy Spirit who would interpret to us and guide us on our journey in life.

May the LORD bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you. May the LORD be gracious to you and lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. AMEN.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!
