There Is A Lasting Solution [reviewed]

It is quite normal to follow the trend of things around you; this is because it was what you met when you were born. But in an earlier blog I explained that the trend of the world is not its original design. In Genesis God told Adam to tend the garden and He made him in charge of the earth [ref. Genesis 2:15]. God had always given man authority over the earth; so, if God wants something done on earth, he has to go through man because He doesn’t go against His words.

Now, as God designed the earth, He definitely has a plan for us. The point is that the world has decided to do things by themselves. In the beginning, God asked Adam to tend the garden [ref. Genesis 2:15], but when Adam was moved out of the garden after being deceived by the devil, which made him disobey God, Adam decided to till the ground which is different from what God told Adam from the beginning [ref. Genesis 3:23]; this is how the world has been existing and that’s how the world lives today.

Man likes to observe new things that would lead to the creation of solutions to problems faced by mankind. However, even with all these, there is a standard of solution which is of the highest level which God has provided for humanity. Believers are expected to live within the plans of God so that Man would see the awesome power and love of God towards humanity and would want to join in the plans of God for their lives. But this is really not happening as it is supposed to. Why? This is because the Believers are not getting some things right and what could this be the cause? It is a lack of a proper relationship with God!

Some Believers have turned Christianity into religion. The world struggles to get anything done; this started from Adam who tilled the ground in order to survive; Jesus came to change this [ref. John 3:16]. So as Believers increase, they are expected to be examples, living the real plan of God. But some Believers pray to God and don’t listen for His direction. Christianity is a relationship which involves God and man, so, when the Believers are not following God’s exact direction they don’t do anything spectacular that makes the world change their ways to follow the plans of God.

It is also quite sad that when the Believers don’t get the transformation that they expect, they join the struggle of the world by deceiving themselves to be under the umbrella of Christ; as a result of this, there is no difference between the Believers and the world except knowing that they go to church! But when they understand Christianity is a relationship they would follow the very steps of Christ, portray the very nature of Christ which is living the plans of God for their lives; with this a unique life is lived by Believers and people of the world would see that the plans of God is the best and they would decide to follow Christ [ref. Matthew 5:13-16].

The Bible says in Proverbs 16:9, “A man’s mind plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps and makes them sure.” AMPC. King David also said in Psalm 37:23-25, “The steps of a [good] man are directed and established by the Lord when He delights in his way [and He busies Himself with his every step]. Though he falls, he shall not be utterly cast down, for the Lord grasps his hand in support and upholds him. I have been young and now am old, yet have I not seen the [uncompromisingly] righteous forsaken or their seed begging bread.” AMPC.

Believers are expected to be the change the world; they are to bring up new ideas which leads to lasting solutions needed. You then see breakthroughs in several fields and so on, just because they follow the God who knows all things and knows the end from the beginning. It’s all because of His love for us and this is the gospel truth.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!
