The Power Behind The Sixth Sense

I have been talking about the sixth sense and how it is the missing link in making the five senses complete. The five senses operating on its own is what the bible call the carnal mind which is enmity with God and leads to death [ref. Romans 8:6-7]. For something to be enmity with God implies it lacks the sixth sense which is faith, because as Hebrews 11:6 says, “…without faith it is impossible to please Him…” Of course we know that the Him implies God. So, to live by faith is to live spiritually which gives life and peace [ref. Romans 8:6]. Jesus pleased God, which implies He lived a life of faith, because He had the Spirit of God in Him completely [ref. Matthew 3:17; Mark 1:11; Luke 3:22; John 8:29; Colossians 1:19].

Jesus pleased God for us, He was the only one who met God standard, there was no way we could meet God standard. Jesus was the one did all the hard work, and got an excellent score before God; it was as a result of this God rewarded Him by giving Him all authority in all of heaven, earth and under the earth. To have access to this, we have to believe Him and what He did by reconciling mankind back to God. To accept Jesus as Lord is to be under Him, thereby being under the blessing, power and authority. Also, you receive the Holy Spirit, which is the exact spirit of Christ which is also the exact spirit of God. As 1 Corinthians 6:17 say, “But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him. We have the exact spirit of God; this is the sixth sense, it is God who directs every move of ours, where we should go, where we shouldn’t go, what and what not to do; opening the right doors even in business; getting married to the right person; discerning spirits; having the ability to heal, perform miracles, raise the dead; become successful at everything we do.

Why is life so wonderful under the sixth sense? It is so wonderful because all we have to do is listen and follow the instructions gotten, and remember, it is God who is giving you these instructions, who never fails. As the bible says in 3 John 3, “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers”. This is what John received from to tell the Believers, which also applies to us. These and more are what God has intended for our lives, we just have to listen to Him and not our five senses.

In order not to mix things up, I said your old nature dies the moment you accept Christ as Lord; our new nature which is the exact nature of Christ appears as our new life. However, the residue of the old nature still remains, but wears out just like an unplugged freezer, we know that we still see ice inside the freezer, but gradually the ice melts away, because there is no more life supporting ice production. Likewise our old nature which appears to still remain is not real anymore because we have a new source of life, but the devil would trick us that we still live the old life. This is why we need to study and meditate on the scriptures which breaks down to us who we really are and the abilities we possess, thereby allowing us to stick closer to the sixth sense more than ever before.

As I said yesterday, the five senses is full of guess work, but when we have the sixth sense, we begin to see, hear, taste, breathe and feel as God does, and then you will find out you weren’t seeing, hearing, tasting, breathing and feeling before now. It is a whole new life full of power like you’ve never seen before and it is up to you to accept Jesus as Lord of your life. This is the true life because I am living it already and I want you to enjoy this life with me as well.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!
