What's Your Vocabulary Like?

Vocabulary,...sounds academic. Well, it is basically a body of words used within a particular language. They are words specific to a particular language, which are used in language composition. What we've come to understand is that the very first thing that gives anyone a strong sense of confidence when found in a different part of the world is knowing the language of that place. And the more you develop the vocabulary of that language, the more sense of belonging you get. The same applies to the Spiritual sense of things.

There is so much emphasis on the meditation on the word of God, which is of great importance, but there is the aspect that is many don't see neglected, and that is the aspect of being led in what has meditated on, which allows those born of the Spirit to activate the meditated into reality. And that was my major focus in my last write-up. But there's more to that story.

Now, let's say you have a PhD in Mathematics, there practically no mathematical equation you cannot solve, it would imply that you're an expert in your field right? Right. But then, you have an eight years old boy in grade 3, it is expected that the height of his knowledge in Mathematics is the grade 3 mathematics.

Now, you have been hired as a mathematics lesson teacher for the boy to bring him up to speed with his mathematics (lest I forget, you also love teaching). There's no way you could impact a secondary or high school level mathematics into the boys mind, not to talk of the university level mathematics, why? The reason is because the boys level is at the grade 3 level. So, you could explain mathematics to him from kindergarten up to grade 3 to him, because that is how much knowledge he has of mathematics.

But if it happens that the boy studies grade 4 mathematics, you would have more to explain to him. If he goes on to grade 5, then you would have more to explain to him. The more he continues, the more you would have more to explain, because he is increasing his mathematical vocabulary.

The more we meditate on the word, the more revelation we receive from the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit doesn't go outside what we haven't meditated on. In other words, your revelation knowledge on God's word, is based on how much you grow your spiritual vocabulary.

The Bible says in 2 Peter 3:18, "but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen." The fulness of Christ who is Grace Himself has been given to us. But the understanding of this Grace is left to us. The more we know about this Grace, the more the Holy Spirit reveals how to activate and use this Grace.

More Grace isn't given to us, it is more understanding of the Grace that is given to us, because God gave us the peak of Grace in the person of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. It is left to us to meditate on who this Grace is, and the more we meditate, the more the Holy Spirit reveals to us based on our knowledge of His Grace.

Ignorance on the part of a Son or Daughter of God is the lack of meditation on the word of God. Jesus said in Matthew 5:6, "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled." The more you crave the word of God, the more you would fill the void or emptiness in you with the revelation of His word. This is so important because it is the void that the devil attacks us from because the void depicts ignorance on who we are in the Grace God has freely given to us.

So, whenever you're faced with any challenge, rather than freaking out as people of the world do, why not know meditate on the Grace of God concerning that situation, and receive leading of the Holy Spirit on how to go about solving that challenge. The answer is all in His Grace or Word. So, the more you meditate, the more revelation you get on how to leave the Jesus life here on earth.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!
