It's so straightforward to allow the Lord Jesus to become your Lord and Saviour. Romans 10:9 says, "that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." Whoever does this is saved, because the person confessed that Jesus is Lord and believed in the heart that God raised Him from the dead. It is straightforward, but whoever does
this has automatically become an ambassador of Christ Jesus. In other words you are Christ Jesus living on or better still you represent Christ in His fulness here on earth. This means you're not a citizen of this earth but heaven.
Now, there is a system of this world, which is no longer your system, but you live in this world, but are not of this world, which implies that you're not to be influenced in anyway by the system of this world. This is because the world operates a fallen system, and your job is to save as many people as Christ Jesus gives you strength into the kingdom of Christ Jesus. The world is falling apart, and has an expiration date.
Remember, you made a confession and believed in your heart that translated you into the kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ. When you are in your kingdom, you hear kingdom talk, and you experience kingdom mindset and way of life. But you're not in your kingdom right now, which means, the talk you hear around you aren't of the kingdom, the mindset is kingdom mindset, and the way of life isn't of the kingdom. Please take note of these things.
There is an idiot who know your mission here on earth, and would do everything possible within its limited but yet deceitful and trickery ability to not let you accomplish your mission. And it's way is just to let you get carried away by the ways of this fallen world. So, everything around you is a distraction and a trick to let you fall. But of course the scripture says in 1 Corinthians 10:13 that, "No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it."
God will always show you a way of escape. You must be led by the Holy Spirit as you soak yourself in the word of the kingdom (the word of God). Now, this is what is so important to you. You must NEVER let the word of God [particularly the finished works of Christ Jesus], depart out of your mouth, meaning you must confess it. You must meditate on it day and night which strengthens your belief system. This helps you keep in tune with the kingdom signal of heaven through the Holy Spirit. It's kind of like wearing headphones with noise cancellation system in it.
This act must be intentional because any time you keep quiet, you’re giving room for the world to get in. And your focus shouldn't be on you not being distracted, rather your focus should be on who you are already, by maintaining who you are as the Lord Jesus right now, seated at the right hand of God. This is why you confession and belief shouldn't stop. You're in Christ, then maintain your being in Christ through your confession and belief, thus being alert as you meditate on the scriptures and are being led by the Holy Spirit.
Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!
