Sin: The Nature Aspect and The Ignorance Aspect

OK, imagine two persons you know. One hasn't received Jesus as His Lord, in other words, isn't born again, while the other one is born again. Galatians 5:19-21 talks of the works of the flesh such as adultery, jealousy, envy and so on. What you observed is that two of these people exhibit works of the flesh. The question now is are both of them sinners, better still, why is the person who claims to be born again still exhibiting the works of the flesh?

Now, a quick one, there are two nature's of living. The first is the nature of sin, which came from Adam, which we were all born into, while the second is the nature of God, which comes from our Lord Jesus Christ. No one can have both natures at the same time, (ref.: Romans 5:18&19; 2 Corinthians 5:17; Galatians 2:20).

The one who isn’t born again has the nature of sin, which is a carnal way of life that is enmity again God. But the one who is born again has received the life of Jesus, which is the life of the Spirit, that is one with God.

The reason why you still find the works of the flesh in the behaviour of the born again person is not because he has the nature of sin, but because he is ignorant of who he is right now. In other words, he hasn't come to the full understanding of who is new life is.

The scriptures says in Romans 12:1&2, "Beloved friends, what should be our proper response to God’s marvelous mercies? I encourage you to surrender yourselves to God to be his sacred, living sacrifices. And live in holiness, experiencing all that delights his heart. For this becomes your genuine expression of worship. ²Stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you, but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in his eyes." TPT.

A person who just got born again is like a baby, and shouldn't be left alone, but should be taken care of by a mature Son or Daughter of God, whom the Lord would use as he or she guides the young born again person into growth in the fulness of Christ, making the person aware of what he or she has received. And as the person becomes more aware the soul submits to who the Spirit has become, and it reflects in the daily living of the person. And in so doing, the works of the flesh reduces drastically and the fruit of the Spirit start to show forth.

The presence of the works of the flesh in a Son or Daughter of God is a state of emptiness, which indicates ignorance. However, the Holy Spirit would have been pricking the person, as the person would have been feeling uncomfortable in some areas or doing what isn't of Christ. But the person can only know who he or she is, when being fed with the Spiritual food, and being led by the Holy Spirit in living the life of Jesus.

As a whole, the works of the flesh could be lurking around the empty side of a Son or Daughter of God, no matter how little, because that place hasn't received the illumination of who he or she is in Christ.

Now, the battle where there is the need to feed one's mind with the word of God lies within the soul, because the soul is where the ignorance lies, and should be illuminated with the light and life of Christ, allowing the soul to function in full capacity of who the Spirit now is. But in any and every way, the carnal way of living is enmity against God, so it is important to renew our minds quickly, so as not to fall prey of the evil one.

And don't forget, the moment you have Jesus as Lord, you have His nature, meaning, you are no longer a sinner. So, you need to feed your mind with you new food, (ref.: Romans 6:1-14).

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!

Your Dance In The Spirit

There are places of work where certain benefits are given as a person or worker under that organisation rises in levels. Things like allowances could increase, and other benefits that weren't there could start coming in. You then see yourself different from the level you were in before and the level you are now. Well, that's how the world operates. Just wanted to give you an idea of what my write-up is focused on today.

Colossians 1:13&14 says, "He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, ¹⁴in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins." Now, to be moved from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of Jesus is not just a change of level, but a change of life entirely, and it comes with a whole lot of benefits.

In Christ Jesus are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, (ref.:Colossians 2:3). In Christ Jesus, we are blessed with all Spiritual blessings in heavenly places, (ref.: Ephesians 1:3). Entering into the kingdom of Christ Jesus implies the stripes of Jesus had made you healed, because He bore ALL your sicknesses, diseases and infirmities, and nailed it to the cross, (ref.: Isaiah 53:4; 1 Peter 2:24).

All authority has been given to Jesus Christ. He is the highest name. Every other name bow down and declare that Jesus is Lord, (ref.: Matthew 28:18; 1 Corinthians 15:27; Ephesians 1:19-23; Philippians 2:9,10). Jesus represents everyone born under the new creation. In fact, He is the new creation, and we are in Him, one with Him, and because all things are under His feet, they are equally under our feet, (ref.: Romans 8:17; Ephesians 1:22,23; 2:6).

In summary, we have the mind and fullness of Christ, (ref.: 1 Corinthians 2:16; Colossians 2:9,10). We are far above the deception of this world by the devil. We operate at a level that in Jesus', which we received by Grace through faith. It is a dance in the Spirit knowing all Jesus has, you have received as an inheritance. The Lord God is awesome, and He loves us so much.

The Seeds Amongst Thorns

Few years ago, I had a series on the parable of the sower, and of course I wrote on the seeds amongst thorns. Today, I singled out the seeds amongst thorns, amongst the parable of the sower, as I decided to revisit it again because for me I believe a lot of us fall into this category when we are not careful. And it is a serious issue that I had to call our attention to what the seeds amongst thorns really mean.

The parable of the sower was written in Matthew, Mark and Luke, (ref.: Matthew 13:1-23; Mark 4:1-20; Luke 8:1-15). And as I wrote, my focus is on the seeds amongst thorns. Let's take a look at Matthew 13:3&7, "³Then He spoke many things to them in parables, saying: “Behold, a sower went out to sow.  ⁷And some fell among thorns, and the thorns sprang up and choked them." The seeds grew, but the thorns sprang up and choked them. This is to imply that if the thorns weren't there, the seeds would have grown fine. The focus here is to know what these thorns are.

Jesus explained what the parable means and for the seeds amongst thorns, Jesus said in Matthew 13:22 "Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful."

The EASY translation puts Matthew 13:22 thus, "Some seeds fell among thorn bushes . This is like people who hear the message from God. But they have many troubles in their minds. They want to get more money and more things. They think that this will make them happy. So they do not let God's message change them. They are like plants that do not grow well and make new seeds." EASY.

The seeds represents the word of God, while the soil or ground represents the heart of the receiver of the word of God. Some may think the cares of this world and deceitfulness of riches would imply those who spend lavishly, those who sin. But take note, the soil represents the heart,  and the EASY translation made us understand that the thorns Jesus spoke of represents the troubles in our hearts.

Many times we allow bills to trouble us, such as rent, children school fees, what to eat, what to drink, what to wear, worry over our health. We want to get more money for what we term as "justifiable reasons", and in all these we forget the word of God, and to Jesus, we choke the word of God. This is why we don't see God's word manifesting in our lives.

Jesus had asked us to trust in Him completely in Matthew 6:25-34. Jesus also asked us to come to Him when we are heavy laden because He will give us rest.

The question we should ask ourselves is why did Jesus come, and of what use is the word of God when we keep facing worries on this earth?

Jesus came to give us rest. Rest from every worries of life, and we find this rest in His word, which come as seeds. But when we fail to look up to Him and look within our abilities in solving these worries we choke the word we get. And guess what? You can never take your worries away, no matter the billions you are given. Why not give your worries to the only person that can take your worries away permanently. This is the rest Jesus has brought for us.

Jesus said in John 14:16-18, "¹⁶‐¹⁷And I will ask the Father and he will give you another Savior, the Holy Spirit of Truth, who will be to you a friend just like me—and he will never leave you. The world won’t receive him because they can’t see him or know him. But you know him intimately because he remains with you and will live inside you. ¹⁸“I promise that I will never leave you helpless or abandon you as orphans—I will come back to you!" TPT

The Holy Spirit is always there living in every Son and Daughter of God to lead us into a worry free life. Allow the word of the Lord to fall on good soil, a heart that is hungry for the word of God, a heart ready to diligent to follow the word of Truth.

Yes, there are worries and anxieties everywhere, but know this, it is not your job to take your worries away, it is His job, so, rest in Him.

Faithful In Little

Jesus gave a parable of the unjust steward in Luke 16:1-13. The lesson behind the parable was that people of the world are wiser than people of God in their dealings over things entrusted to them. They have a sound sense of judgement, even though they are of the world. But the Sons and Daughters of God lack a sound sense of judgement, and in this case a state of faithfulness. Which was why Jesus said in Luke 16:10, "He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much."

When God entitles you with a thing, how faithful are you to that thing? What we fail to understand is that our faithfulness to things God has given us right now, opens bigger doors for us. It is not just about being a Son or Daughter of God, believing that we have inherited the fulness of Jesus, which includes His wealth, health and favour. What activates it is our being faithful to what we have been given.

Our meditation on the word of God is expected to strengthen us in being faithful, because we are to express the image of the Jesus, who was extra faithful to God His Father. And this is possible because we now have His Spirit.

What crosses your mind when things are entitled to you, even at a small level? What should cross our mind is that these things belong to us, and if we don't take care of these things, how would it grow, or how do we increase the value of that thing?

If we come with the mindset that it isn’t yours, or you're not in charge of it, nothing would work, and God would entrust you with something bigger because you showed to Him that you could not take care of the little one He gave us.

God knows our abilities, and would never give us anything beyond our capacity. And then again, He gives us things to make us fix our attention on Him, as Apostle Paul said in Philippians 4:13, which says, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

The wisdom and manner of approach in getting anything done lies in the ability of Christ Jesus, who strengthens us."

If you have issues in your finances, or you seem not to make progress generally, despite meditating on the word day and night, ask yourself if you have been faithful to the things God had set before you. And to know that is to listen to the Holy Spirit, because there is no way He wouldn’t have been guiding you on what and how to do things the Lord has set before you.

Faithfulness is key, and it start from what is before you. And remember even after meditating on the word of God, listen to the leading of the Holy Spirit and obey, because your obedience implies faithfulness. And you'll see that you aren't stagnant anymore.

Your faithfulness starts...NOW!

What's Your Vocabulary Like?

Vocabulary,...sounds academic. Well, it is basically a body of words used within a particular language. They are words specific to a particular language, which are used in language composition. What we've come to understand is that the very first thing that gives anyone a strong sense of confidence when found in a different part of the world is knowing the language of that place. And the more you develop the vocabulary of that language, the more sense of belonging you get. The same applies to the Spiritual sense of things.

There is so much emphasis on the meditation on the word of God, which is of great importance, but there is the aspect that is many don't see neglected, and that is the aspect of being led in what has meditated on, which allows those born of the Spirit to activate the meditated into reality. And that was my major focus in my last write-up. But there's more to that story.

Now, let's say you have a PhD in Mathematics, there practically no mathematical equation you cannot solve, it would imply that you're an expert in your field right? Right. But then, you have an eight years old boy in grade 3, it is expected that the height of his knowledge in Mathematics is the grade 3 mathematics.

Now, you have been hired as a mathematics lesson teacher for the boy to bring him up to speed with his mathematics (lest I forget, you also love teaching). There's no way you could impact a secondary or high school level mathematics into the boys mind, not to talk of the university level mathematics, why? The reason is because the boys level is at the grade 3 level. So, you could explain mathematics to him from kindergarten up to grade 3 to him, because that is how much knowledge he has of mathematics.

But if it happens that the boy studies grade 4 mathematics, you would have more to explain to him. If he goes on to grade 5, then you would have more to explain to him. The more he continues, the more you would have more to explain, because he is increasing his mathematical vocabulary.

The more we meditate on the word, the more revelation we receive from the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit doesn't go outside what we haven't meditated on. In other words, your revelation knowledge on God's word, is based on how much you grow your spiritual vocabulary.

The Bible says in 2 Peter 3:18, "but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen." The fulness of Christ who is Grace Himself has been given to us. But the understanding of this Grace is left to us. The more we know about this Grace, the more the Holy Spirit reveals how to activate and use this Grace.

More Grace isn't given to us, it is more understanding of the Grace that is given to us, because God gave us the peak of Grace in the person of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. It is left to us to meditate on who this Grace is, and the more we meditate, the more the Holy Spirit reveals to us based on our knowledge of His Grace.

Ignorance on the part of a Son or Daughter of God is the lack of meditation on the word of God. Jesus said in Matthew 5:6, "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled." The more you crave the word of God, the more you would fill the void or emptiness in you with the revelation of His word. This is so important because it is the void that the devil attacks us from because the void depicts ignorance on who we are in the Grace God has freely given to us.

So, whenever you're faced with any challenge, rather than freaking out as people of the world do, why not know meditate on the Grace of God concerning that situation, and receive leading of the Holy Spirit on how to go about solving that challenge. The answer is all in His Grace or Word. So, the more you meditate, the more revelation you get on how to leave the Jesus life here on earth.

The Woki-Toki System

A woki toki is a device that has a radio transmitter and a receiver, commonly used by the police. Now, this device is used to communicate, and a leader of the group could communicate using the woki toki, and the those receiving the information can respond to the message.

Jesus came to save the world from sin by freeing us from it, and also to bring into a brand new life without sin, a perfect life beyond our wildest dreams and imagination, a life having the Spirit of God Himself. Now, Jesus death was the sacrifice we needed to free us from the bondage of sin. While His resurrection was the evidence that we have been freed from sin, (ref.: 1 Corinthians 15:17).

Now, that Christ Jesus has risen, many didn't know they are free from the bondage of sin, and they have an offer of a brand new life by Grace. So, Jesus commissioned His disciples to go into all the world, letting them know that they have been free from sin, and they have the chance to join a brand new life in the kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Jesus commanded His disciples to stay in an upper room, and wait for their woki toki to arrive, which He, Jesus would use to communicate with them, telling them how to go about the mission, because He alone knows the perfect way of carrying out the mission, (ref.: Acts 1:4). Without the woki toki, they cannot begin the mission. They would need to communicate with Jesus to get directions from Him, and He would always direct their steps because He see ahead of them. He knows how everyone moves because He has cameras everywhere that can see everything that is happening. So, the disciples can bank on Him for His leading and direction, and must always be in tune with Him, or else they could fall victim of the evil guys; and won't be able to locate those they have been sent to rescue.

The woki toki symbolises the Holy Spirit whom Jesus has promised to send us. The leading of the Holy Spirit is actually Jesus still leading (another evidence that Jesus and the Holy Spirit are one and the same).

Sadly, there are those who have received the woli toki, but don't listen to Jesus when He speaks because they are carried away by the things of the world. With this, they fall victim of the evil one, and wonder why their lives aren't going smoothly. The question is, have you been listening to the woki toki?

Another set of people can't recognise who is speaking in the woki toki because they haven't studied the map on how to move, and the weapons they possess (referring to the meditating on the word of God). By meditating on the word of God daily, the word becomes alive in you, especially with the fact that you now carry His Spirit. So, when the Lord Jesus speaks as the Holy Spirit, He corresponds with the word of God and your Spirit, which makes you know who is speaking.

In as much as meditating on the word of God is very important, the leading of the Holy Spirit is also very important and must not be left out. This is because to meditate on the word and leave out the Holy Spirit or rest on your degree, is like knowing the way, but having all senses cut off, which is so sad to imagine.

Study the map [meditate on the word of God], but never leave out the woki toki [never neglect the leading of the Holy Spirit], it must be a dialogue, and not a monologue.

WAKE UP!

When we sleep and eventually dream, our dreams appear real while we are still in that state. But the moment we wake up, we find out it had all been a dream, and all that was experienced within the dream wasn't real.

But, you'll notice that you never knew your dream wasn't real when you were in that state. So, we moved from a dream state to a more realistic state of consciousness that we are in right now. But are you aware that there is an even more realistic state of consciousness that ultimately supercedes what we experience right now? So, let's find that out.

Have you been in a dream that the moment you found out you were dreaming you woke up? This has happened to me several times. The moment you find out you are dreaming, you disregard that state and move to a more conscious state. But I'm here to tell you that you still in a state of dream, because there is an ultimately realistic state, and it is important we realise this right now and move into the true and real state of existence.

I had written in a few write-ups ago on Operating With The Spiritual Sense. The Spiritual state is the most realistic state of existence, and whatever is real there is real and cannot be changed.

2 Corinthians 4:18b says, "For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal." The things that are seen which is the state we are presently, are temporary, while the things that are unseen are eternal. The things that are unseen are of the Spirit realm, and they are eternal.

Apostle Paul had acknowledged us to look at the things that unseen rather than on the things that seen, (ref.: 2 Corinthians 4:18; Colossians 3:2).

Now, Colossians 3:1 says, "If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God." Why? There is an emphasis on those who are raised with Christ, and this is because those who are raised with Christ are those born again, and are now one with Christ Jesus, who are partakers of His eternal glory. So, it would only make sense to look up into the realm they are in, seated with Christ, to live the life Christ is living right here on earth.

Let me explain that. Christ Jesus has has the highest name, the name above every other name, with an authority so great that every other thing bows at the name of Jesus, (ref.: Ephesians 1:19-23; Philippians 2:9-11). Christ was made a supreme conqueror over all things. So, sickness, disease, covid-19, poverty, depression, and every other thing that is an oppression are all under His feet. And the scriptures says those who are born of God are partakers of this glory, because they are one with Jesus, fused together as one entity. Therefore, this is the real life we are to live to overcome the deception of the devil here on earth.

And in case you forgot, the Bible says in Colossians 2:15 that Jesus disarmed every principality and powers in hell, made an open show of them, and triumphed over them. Do not also forget what Jesus said about the devil in John 8:44, where Jesus the devil is a murderer and a liar, because there is no truth in it (devil). Whenever it opens its mouth, lies comes out. So, why are you ignorant of the devil's devices. Wake up! And live the real life you have been born again to be.

Any oppression that comes your way is first a lie of the devil, and also you are seated with Christ in the heavenly realm. Therefore, you are to operate on the VICTORY that Jesus obtained and has given to you by grace.

Like a dream, this world is passing away, so, WAKE UP!

The Mission Statement

The term 'mission statement' isn't something new to us. Every organisation has a mission statement. So, one way or the other, you must have seen it. Now, what is a mission statement?

A mission statement is a short statement of why a organisation exist, this summarises the intent in major goal achievement of an organisation. Also, in whatever thing you set out to do, there is a mission which states the process in the achievement of the goal. If this is so, it is then clear that there is a goal for every Son and Daughter of God living here on earth.

Let's take a look at Matthew 28:18-20,:

"And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.  ¹⁹Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  ²⁰teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen."

Jesus had been given all authority in heaven and on earth by God the Father. So, in the verses quoted above, what Jesus was saying was this, "Now that I've freed the world of the bondage of sin, and a new life which clears off the sinful nature has began. My intention for all these is that mankind as a whole can now become one with God again, since there is nothing hindering that from happening." That's just in very, very plain English.

So, Jesus sending the disciples out into the world was to inform the entire world that they are free from the bondage of sin. And since they are still living a sinful nature, there is a brandnew life with a brandnew package that gives them a new nature, which is the nature of Jesus.

The purpose of Jesus' coming was to break off the bondage of sin from the life of man permanently, by taking off the wrath of God through His death, as an eternal sacrifice or atonement was made. Then the second purpose was redemption of the world to Himself, and this can only happen with a change of nature. So, He has sent the Sons and Daughters out to redeem the world to Himself, away from the coming destruction of the earth. This is the mission statement.

Now, if anything we do has nothing to do with redemption, we aren't living the mission of our calling. Sadly, many of us have been distracted by the things of the world, as many run after money because they need to put food on the table, send their children to school, pay bills and more. Now, if the wicked world can provide allowances for things like transportation, clothing, house, and more, it won't make any sense that God Almighty sent us out and hasn't made the provision of all we would ever need in carrying out His mission. Pause for the while and think of what I just wrote.

Jesus had made us understand that we shouldn't worry about what to eat, drink or wear, because our Father has taken care of that. Our focus should be on our calling—the mission!

And remember, Jesus commanded His disciples not to leave Jerusalem till they receive Holy Spirit. In plain English, it meant, they shouldn't go out for the mission till they receive their woki toki, which Jesus would use to communicate with them and lead them on how to carry out the mission and where to go.

So, whatever we do, we must have received guidance from the woki toki to go where we are going. And of course, the purpose is redemption, and not to fill our bellies, or worry about things not being met. Listen to the woki toki and you will find out all the tools you need have been provided (food, clothing, shelter, and other stuffs). So, that shouldn't be our focus, the mission should be our focus.

We have the map on how to move (the word of God), and the voice from the woki toki MUST follow the map. Any other woki toki receiving another signal would sway one away from the map, so, that isn't Jesus speaking.

It's time to carry out the mission, and it is clearly spelt out in the mission statement.

Who or What Do You Rest On?

Going over again and again on the things that matters, especially when it burns in my heart to do so, things I repeat. I believe it serves as reminder on staying strong, and not being distracted. So, today, I would look at rest.

Everything is at a state of rest, meaning your thoughts processes are a state of rest. What your senses hold on to is at a state of rest. But when a thing is at a state of rest, the question would be, what are you resting on?

Whatever you rest on determines your thoughts process, which eventually determines your life. Yes, many must have heard about this, but the point here is where are we actually resting on?

The devil comes with lies, and its sole aim is to steal, kill and destroy, (ref.: John 10:10). This is done by bringing up images through our physical senses for us to believe, the moment we believe them we are holding on to the lies of the devil, thus, resting on its deceit.

So, what are the lies of the devil? Among many, some include sickness, diseases, infirmities, poverty, guilt, and more. And when it brings up these things that your senses feel are real, they manifest. But one thing is clear, they all don't rest on Christ Jesus, and His finished works.

Now, this is what Jesus says, you are no longer sick, you are healthy, wealthy, filled with success, God's favour, you are the temple of the Holy Spirit, (1 Corinthians 6:19); as Jesus is, so are you in this world, (ref.: 1John 4:17); no weapon formed against you can prosper, (ref.: Isaiah 54:17); you are Anointed by God, (ref.: 1 John 2:27); you were created by God for good works, (ref.: Ephesians 2:10); you are blessed with every spiritual blessings in heavenly places, (ref.: Ephesians 1:3), and lots more.

Why did Jesus tell us, these are who we have become and more? He said this because this is what He came to the world to do, to free man from the bondage of sin, and redeem man back to God. And anyone who believes in Jesus by confessing Him as Lord, and believing in our heart that God raised Him from the dead gets translated from the kingdom of darkness to the His kingdom, (ref.: Colossians 1:13). And in so doing inherit all that Jesus is.

So, when we become born again, we become all that Jesus is, and this is what Jesus wants us to rest on, sort of making us rest assured that all that He is, we have become. And remember, He doesn't just say the truth, He is the truth Himself.

So, when the devil brings a lie to us, just remember who Jesus is, then be rest assured, and by doing that, our thoughts are shaped to rest in all that Jesus is, also remembering that all authority belongs to Him.

You can rest on who Jesus isn't, that is just the summary. It's not about what we've done, but what He's done. All we are to do is to believe in Him, (ref.: John 6:29). To rest is not to be double minded, it is something you have no alternative to, it is to have COMPLETE trust in that a thing. So, you have become all that He is right now, just rest on that, and see Him manifest in your daily living.

What Does Idle Words Mean Exactly?

I have written on idle words before, but a deeper understanding on how idle words affect many of us to the point that I have fallen victim of it so many times, I got to know that God Himself really doesn't like idle words [to say it in a modest way].

Jesus made it clear that there isn't any need to swear to establish your point, where He further said in Matthew 5:37 "But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.For whatever is more than these is from the evil one." In other words, if you say you would be at a place by a particular time, let your actions follow the words you said exactly, and that is your 'yes' being your 'yes' or your 'no' being your 'no'.

Again, Jesus said in Matthew 12:36-37, "But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. ³⁷For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”

What Jesus made us understand is that words are to enact action, and these actions fall in line specific to the words we say. The actions do not go outside what you say. For instance, when God said in Genesis 1, in the creation story. As God said, "Let there be light" light manifested exactly as the words commanded. The light was the exact strength and manner God had spoken the light to be. These words weren't idle, as they didn't fall to the ground, they had a purpose, and they were fulfilled.

In like manner, when we speak words, our actions should follow exactly what we say. Lies for instance don't follow what we say, therefore, they are idle words. When we say we would do a thing, and don't follow exactly how we said we said it, [which includes keeping to time], they become idle words, because our words didn't have a purpose.

Are you aware that there are Spiritual forces behind all what we say to ensure anything we say fall in line, these are ministering Spirit, otherwise known as angels. You can see a glimpse of it when Daniel prayed, (ref.: Daniel 10:12). Words were said as prayer, the angels looking at the face of God ensured the words fell in line with what Daniel said. So, when God said let there be light, whatever things was needed for the light to be ensured it fell in line with what you said.

To us here on earth, angels ensure what we say come to pass, and this is granted by looking at the face of God, who gives them the go ahead.

We miss certain blessings of God, just because our actions didn't correspond with what we said. The angels bring from the spirit whatever is necessary to for our words to come to pass at the exact way we said it. But by deviating is to miss out what we spoke out, making our words idle.

I'm sure many of you reading this seem surprised right? But these are true, and the summary of all these is that we should keep to our words, as Jesus said, let your 'yes' be 'yes' and your 'no' be 'no', and in so doing, our words aren't idle, but have a purpose that is being fulfilled.

We may not be as accurate as God is, but if things are to change let the receiving party be aware of any changes made quickly, so that you still fall in line with the latest development.

God will judge every idle word, because they were spoken carelessly, maybe as a joke with no purpose, or words we didn't abide by. God will judge our words because words are authority and should not come back void. Every word is a command, don't forget this, and you can't command things and later say, when did I say that? Or I don't need it. That's how idle words are implied.

So, what words are you saying?

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!

Operating With The Spiritual Sense

Yesterday, I looked at the fact that we all have five senses, and these senses we have are the means the devil has been using to get through to people, which includes those born of God. And as we know, all the devil does to those born of God is to ensure that they don't hold on to the finished work of Jesus. And it does this by using our senses.

Now, the senses could stand as a foundation that our thoughts rest on or a foundation that could define our thought process, and if the devil uses the physical senses, and going by what the scriptures says on and on, that those born of God shouldn't walk by the physical senses, but by faith, it is clear to say that there are other sets of senses that are Spiritual and not physical. And today, my focus is to look at these Spiritual senses and how to harness them as we grow in this newness in Christ Jesus.

Walk by faith, and not by sight or the physical senses. I would like us to calm down and understand one thing, and that is the fact that our physical senses are in the subject of influence. In other words, our physical senses are extractors, and whatever you send through them, they consider them as real.

So, when we as Sons and Daughters of God are to make use of faith to live our lives here on earth. What it means is that the senses here on earth are fed by something else aside faith, which is considered a reality. Stay with me.

We come from heaven, and there is a way heaven operates, and the only way we are to tap into that realm is through faith.

Now, to live here on earth for a Son or Daughter of God is to see with senses of the heavens. Jesus while here on earth said, whatever He sees His Father do, that is what He does, (ref.: John 5:19). This is to imply that Spiritual senses should control the physical senses here on earth.

Faith on the other hand isn't really a sense in itself, but a means to harness the real senses we have obtained in Christ Jesus. And if you recall what Galatians 2:20 says, now that I have crucified this flesh, which includes the five senses, "I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me." KJV This means that our spiritual senses are the senses Jesus Himself carry, since He is our life and our life is based and dependent on His very existence, because without Him, we are dead!

The question would be if man sees sickness, what is Jesus seeing?

Going back a little, the scripture says in Romans 10:17 that faith comes by HEARING, and what we hear is actually THE WORD OF GOD—JESUS!

We have no faith, as it is established in Galatians 2:20 and Hebrews 12:2, because the faith we think we have as Sons and Daughters of God is the very faith of Jesus.

So, our aim in life is really to see, hear, smell, taste and feel as Jesus does right now. And the only way to harness this is by faith which to know exactly who He is. And as we soak ourselves in WHO HE IS, IN HIS PERSON, we unleash the very essence of Him, thus unleashing the spiritual senses.

The Bible has already told us in 1 Corinthians 2:16 that we have the mind of Christ Jesus. The only way we can harness the way He thinks is to soak ourselves in Him, because we are already in Him in the Spirit, but the senses are the way we open the door of the Spiritual to become real in the physical.

Know this, as Sons and Daughters of God, we don't have a life (outside Christ Jesus), because Jesus is our life. This is NO figure of speech.

Jesus when here on earth, didn't have a life, because God was His life. So, His senses were the very senses of God. This was why is was clear when He told Philip in John 14:9 and 10 that if you have seen Him, you have seen the Father, He is in the Father and the Father is in Him, just because they have the exact same mind, thought process and senses. And whatever His senses stands on to call real, were the exact thing God the Father stood on to call real.

Harnessing the Spirit senses is to first of all know that you have no senses at all. Soak yourself in Jesus—His word, being led by the Holy Spirit. So, when the scripture says we are walk by faith and not by sight, it is clearly saying trust, believe, rely on the senses of Jesus, and not the senses of the earth. And the senses of Jesus can NEVER be influenced by the devil.
