Manifesting His Authority on Earth

Hello everyone,

Yesterday, it was made clear that God dwells in us, Him living in us is the grace of God given to us, where I explained that the Holy Spirit is a whole package of other things all put together as one. Having the exact authority with God is one thing, activating it is another thing. Today, I will explain how to manifest authority of God in us in our physical world.

Manifesting the authority of Christ in our everyday lives is very important. In my authority series few weeks back, I wrote on this, but there are things I left out which would be added as I explain how to manifest the authority of Christ in our everyday life.

In manifesting the authority of God, we need to first of all know and believe the authority, and this is done on through faith. Faith here in simple terms means to receive that which has been offered by God through Christ, which is why in Romans 10:17, it says, “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” The only way you have access to the authority of Christ is to know about it, and this is done by those whom God has sent to spread this good news [ref. Romans 10:14-15]. There have to be a communication, it doesn’t just come to you like that until someone spreads the message, even through God Himself passing this message, there must be communication. It is when the message has been passed it is then up to you to receive it.

Now, when you look at the second half of Romans 10:17, it says, “…and hearing by the word of God.” This implies that the ability to hear the right message that causes faith in your heart is not from you but from God! The faith you use when you become a member of the body of Christ is not your faith, our faith is so carnal that it cannot take the load of what God has in store for us. So, you need a perfect and pure heart that has passed the God-test and only Jesus passed this test. Again, you see why you cannot boast in your abilities.

Galatians 2:20 says, “I have been crucified with Christ, it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” The KJV made it clearer by saying the life we now live, we live by the faith of the Son of God, thus making clearer that it is Christ’s faith that we use in living here on earth. So, when the scriptures say, “For the just shall live by faith”, it simply means we activate the faith of Christ as we live here on earth. The faith of Christ was one of the several gifts given to those who received Christ into their lives, so we can make use of it as we receive the word.

Now, the faith of Christ in us gives us the ability to hear the word of God which is translated to faith. The word when received is a seed which should be planted and grown in our heart, and how is this done? It is done through the constant meditation on the word of faith which you heard. An example could be a person who is sick, he hears the word of faith which says, “By the stripes of Jesus, you were made healed.” In order to activate this, he needs to meditate on the word in his heart, get it established in his soul, that is, his mind, will and emotion which then translates into the body. Then he has to confess the word as his affirmation on what he stands on which then brings healing to the body. Confession is very important, it brings out and establishes what the heart has concluded upon.

In manifesting the authority of Christ in simple terms could simply mean believing the word and then confessing the word. The believing in split seconds have to do with the meditation of that word, allowing it to become the only truth you know, which of course has been the only truth in the first place.

There are deeper insights in manifesting the authority of Christ in our lives even from meditation, log on tomorrow as I continue on how to manifest the authority of Christ here on earth.

May the LORD bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you. May the LORD be gracious to you and lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. AMEN.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!
