God Doesn't Say What Won't Exist

Hello everyone,

We all go through challenges, especially as a result of result of living on this earth where everything around us sends messages that are negative, and as such people fall sick, get poor, get depressed, work tirelessly for a little wage, just to feed their family and so on. Now, God has come to tell us, that isn’t the life He designed for us. He has a place for us that beats this world hands down, but it’s our choice to go with God or not, it’s all about the choices we make if it is God or we just remain here believing we would sort things out.

Lamentations 3:22-23 says, “Through the LORD’s mercies we are not consumed. Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.” The verses quoted came before the new covenant was established.

As I said at the beginning of this write-up, we go through challenges in our lives, and many feel they are punishments from God, the same God whose compassions fail not? Not at all, God’s compassions fail not and He has brought about the solution to problems, but again, it’s left to us to make our choices. The truth is that we must believe something, we can’t sit on the fence.

Your Doctor tells a person that He is sick, while God is telling the same person, He has been made healed long before He was born, we often then believe what the world tells us to what God tells us. God said you are not poor, but you look at your bank account as it doesn’t correspond. The carnal mind has affected us that we don’t believe nothing outside the five senses could ever exist.

Now as God has said we are successful and prosperous at what we do but our situation is saying otherwise, does that mean God is lying? The question we are to ask here is: since God cannot lie and I am not seeing the state He said I am in which He has provided for me, why am I not seeing it? I explained the reason why we don’t see what God has ordained for us, the reason is that we keep looking at things with our five senses, and we need to change our “glasses” which is how we view things. If we keep looking at things with our carnal mind, we would never find what God has conveniently placed in front of us as His way out.

The just shall live by faith is not a cliché, it’s the truth, we need to see what the world isn’t seeing, just the way as we keep walking in faith we won’t see things that the world see like poverty, failure, infirmities, diseases, depression and so on, why? It is because we don’t view things from their own point of view.

God doesn’t say what won’t exist, what we are to do is to learn to see from God’s point of view and then you’ll see a great transformation in your lives.

May the LORD bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you. May the LORD be gracious to you and lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. AMEN.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!

The Safety of the World

Happy new week everyone,

Last time, my write-up was focused on how we fail to see God’s blessings just because we have remained in our self-centred attitude, rather than on a mission conscious angle. When the Bible said that God’s ways are not our ways neither are His thoughts our thoughts and later on we then find the new creation having access to the mind of Christ [ref. Isaiah 55:8; 1 Corinthians 2:16], does this now appear as a contradiction? The answer is No because, under the first Adam, God’s thoughts and ways are not our ways. But when you are under the last Adam, you have access to the mind of Christ which has helped to understand mysteries.

Today, my focus is on world peace, we see nations rising against nations, we see fights here and there, and guess what? The government just keep getting more ammunition to fight against their opponent, and to think that would solve it. What man call peace is actually the defeated one going back to their drawing board to re-strategise. Everyone is aiming at becoming the world power, but what they fail to understand is that to be a leader, you have to be a servant.

What many don’t understand is that a servant is indispensable, without the servant you’re helpless. To live the God kind of life you need to think of others first. As each country start to think of another country in terms of need, there is a natural flow of blessing that comes back in a larger fold. You might say the United Nations are doing that, but does it make sense when almost all nations gather and think wisely, but when they disperse, they go back to their enmity with another country, so who is deceiving who?

The world is self-centred and so are the economies of the world. God has put everything in place, it is only to depend on Him. Why depend on yourselves when you don’t see beyond your nose, rather it is better to depend on God who knows the end from the beginning and has prepared a place for those who want to walk with Him.

The way out of all these messes starts with you and I, what have you done in fulfilling what God has called you for? It is when you keep doing this that people you meet keep looking up to God and on and on like that. But if you speak a thing and do the opposite, there won’t be progress. The Bible says in Romans 8:19 says, “For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.” The world knows something is wrong, and if you who know what is right then decide to join them, you are making the world worse off.

To those who are the new creation, live the new life God has called you into, as you live this life and others start seeing the result, they would want to know what you are doing differently. You must understand that the safety of the world rests in our, the question now is: what are you doing about it?

May the LORD bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you. May the LORD be gracious to you and lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. AMEN.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!

Change Your Perspective

Hello everyone,

Have you been a tight situation in your life and you pray to God for a breakthrough? Now, what we need to understand is that God has answered our prayers long before we asked Him, what we really need is a direction from Him to the result to our breakthrough. But we could also face challenges where God has directed us to the place of our breakthrough but you do not find anything, and you keep asking God and He keeps directing you to the same place but you still do not find anything, what could be wrong?

Under the first Adam which has framed the world’s system, there is a high level of self-centredness, but under the last Adam, Jesus, the self is dead. You often hear people say things like, “Jesus first, yourself last, and others in the middle.” Under the new covenant, that doesn’t count, what counts is, “Jesus first and then others,” why? As I said, under the new covenant, you are dead. The reason why we fail to see what God has led us to is that we look at it from our perspective, which is carnal, and as I explained yesterday, the carnal mind brings death and is also enmity with God [ref. Romans 8:6 and 7].

What we need to understand is that God provides our needs and not wants, and if you are to see what He wants you to see, you need to see it from the spirit level. Now the spirit level doesn’t just mean seeing things that are intangible to others, what it means is for you to change your perspective, change how you view things. You are to view things from new creation angle of life and not the carnal way of viewing things. So how do you know this?

God has called everyone into a mission here on earth, and as we get to know God more we get to know more about our calling here on earth. The truth is that everything God has called us into is service. Everything God gives us has a purpose, and it is to fulfill what He has called you for, in other words, we should be mission conscious and not self-conscious. This would then explain the question at the beginning, the reason why you can’t see the breakthrough is that you are still self-conscious or self-centred and not God-conscious or mission conscious.

The moment our mindset is channeled towards what God has called us for, which is, in fulfilling what God has called us to do, through service, which also is about others and not yourself, your eyes become open to see what He has directed you to see. Those cars, houses, financial increase and other blessings that you know came to you from God, are not for you to just show off, they are tools God has given you in fulfilling what He has called you here on earth to do. Be mission conscious and not self-conscious, change your perspective.

Put Your Faith To Maximum Use

Hi everyone,

There is a life God expects us to live, and it is the God kind of life which we live through faith. Outside of faith, we do things which are carnal which are of the five senses, and God isn’t pleased with this. Romans 8:6 says, “For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.” Why does being carnally minded bring death? Being carnally minded is the life Adam lived when He fell, to illustrate this life would be to uproot a plant away from the soil, the plant may still look good, but as minutes or to some hours pass, the plant starts fading away. It lost its life the moment the plant was uprooted from the soil, which was why God told Adam in Genesis 2:17, “but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.” But Adam died at age 930 years, the truth is that he died the moment he ate of the forbidden fruit, or why do you think you grow old?

As I said at the beginning, God wants us to live the God kind of life, and when you have God in you, are you supposed to grow old and die? If this is so, then it shows the new nature has no power over our bodies! As new a creation, you are not under the old Adam who brought death to us, but we are now under the new Adam who is life and peace. And as Romans 8:6 says, “…to be spiritually minded is life and peace.” If the signs of the old Adam was obvious here on earth, then being under the new Adam who is Jesus should also be obvious on earth also.

Where do you think sickness or healing come from? Sickness comes from death, which is a nature of the old Adam, while healing and miracles come from life which is the nature of the new covenant. As sickness accumulates it result in death, while healing and miracles reflect the true nature of God. Now, since all these could be seen here on earth, it means, we need to exercise our faith level properly in order to understand that we are no longer under death anymore.

When you become a new creation in Christ, your spirit is 100% just as Christ’s which has been completely transformed. But our soul, where our mind, will and emotions are, need to be transformed every now and then in order to detoxify the lies of the old nature, this is where faith comes in, again, faith could be seen as letting go of the lies of the old nature and believing and receiving the truth of the new nature of God in Christ Jesus. As you keep accepting the new nature, it immediately affects your bodies.

The body follows everything that the soul believes, so if you believe you are sick, the body follows that immediately and reflect the sickness, while on the other hand, if you believe you have the health of Christ in your life, the body reflects the health of Christ in your life, it’s all according to your faith, which was why people received their miracles from Jesus according to their faith and He made them know that. He released the grace into their lives, it was left for them to believe and receive it that was all.

Now, that God has given us His life through grace, the moment you believe and receive completely that you have God dwelling in you, therefore, you are to reflect God in every area of your life and that you can’t grow old because you are planted in Christ, you would then see how you start to glow and not grow old. If God wants you to stay a certain number of years here on earth, just because your soul and your body are now in sync with you new spirit, you would move just as Enoch did, not leaving anything behind. And again, it’s just if your faith has reached that level. We are not under the old Adam but under the last Adam, that is for those who are now new creations. If you are not yet a new creation and want to benefit from this great grace, you too can tap into this free gift of salvation by saying the prayer at the end of this blog.

May the LORD bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you. May the LORD be gracious to you and lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. AMEN.

Does God Really Overlook Our Transgressions?

Happy weekend everyone,

Yesterday, I explained that Jesus through His death, burial, and resurrection has redeemed us, and He is the one God looks at when the devil comes to accuse us. Jesus who is our advocate and propitiation for our sins stands as Mercy in person, the one God looks at and understands all sins were placed on Jesus and the promise God made in the new covenant that our transgressions and iniquities He will by no means remember. With this, I brought up a question which I believe many would come up which is since God said He would by no means remember our iniquities and transgressions, does that mean we should not be afraid when we fall into sin because the big brother’s got it?

What we need to understand is that under the new covenant, that which we call sin isn’t sin at all. I explained in one of my write-up that the act of sin comes from you not doing anything with faith. If you look at Romans 14:23b, it says, “…for whatever is not from faith is sin.” Also, James 4:17 says, “Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin”, and this ‘good’ is faith! You are no longer under a covenant where you live out of hypocrisy, thinking you could keep it but couldn’t keep it. But this new covenant comes with a new spirit, the spirit of God/Jesus which is the spirit of perfection. Your physical person appears to be far away from perfection, but perfection is what God sees, because you have been reborn under Christ who is perfect, and in so doing by faith you declare that you are perfect and are to live the perfect life.

The scriptures are the starting point where you find who you are right now in the spirit, the Holy Spirit explains and interprets who you are, He also guides you in all that you do. It is when you don’t live by faith, which is allowing unbelief to dwell in your heart by not believing what God has made you, this now is sin, why? It is because it is not in line with who God is.

There are laws of faith, and the law of faith is to believe and receive all that God has given to you, which include blessings, divine favour, supernatural health, wisdom beyond human level, insights, the God kind of life and much more. This is why the scriptures say the just or righteous shall live by faith, [ref. Habakkuk 2:4; Romans 1:17; Galatians 3:11; Hebrews 10:38].

Your act of faith starts from your heart which then grows out into your behaviour, your way of life, God looks at our hearts and nothing else, because once the foundation is right, whatever is placed on it follow suit, which is following whatever the foundation is. We all grow in faith, learning to accept the whole truth completely as a way of life and this is hearing, studying and meditating on the word of God. Also, praising God and speaking in tongues, all these help to build and boost our faith.

Now, when our focus or our heart is on Jesus the grace which has been given to us, our lives becomes refreshed and move closer and closer towards God’s, so God has shown us the way to greatness, if you don’t walk in it, nothing good would come out of it, and it is not a punishment from God, because He doesn’t keep any record of transgressions anymore. Also, you can’t say, you didn’t know which road to take because that is why God sent the Holy Spirit to guide us in our walk here on earth. The issue is really with you, not with God or your neighbour or people from your village as some people think, it’s all you, you, you, God has done His part, it’s left to you to believe and receive or continue suffering. The choice is yours.

Mercy is a Person!

Hello everyone,

We have been able to understand the mercy of God which has been bestowed on us through Jesus Christ, but there are terms which are attributed to God but are not just mere words, they refer to living beings, and this is what I would discuss today.

We all know who the devil is, right? The Bible calls him the accuser of the brethren [ref. Revelation 12:10], by brethren it means those who are born of Christ. The verse says, he “accused them before our God day and night…”. What is the devil accusing us of? He is accusing us to God of our flaws and mistakes, the things we don’t do right, how we still sin in some areas, he just keeps on showing God our weaknesses. But what did verse 11 of Revelation 10 say? “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.”

The blood of the Lamb is the blood of Jesus which washed away all our transgressions, that which God said with it He will be merciful to our unrighteousness, and our sins and lawless deeds He will remember no more [ref. Hebrews 8:12]. So what makes the devil’s accusations non-effective? It is Jesus, for 1 John 2:1 and 2 says, “…And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.”

With all these, it shows that the person who reminds God of mercy towards us is mercy Himself, Jesus. So when I say, Jesus is all in all, and the full package, I’m not exaggerating or being religious because it is true, for without Him we can do nothing [ref. John 15:5]. Jesus is our saviour, our grace, mercy, strength, authority, our all in all, getting to know Him is getting closer to God and fulfilling the perfect will of God for your life.

Now, some may say, since God said He would by no means remember our iniquities and transgressions, does that mean we should not be afraid when we fall into sin because the big brother’s got it? Log on tomorrow as I address this question.

How is God Very Disciplined, But Yet Merciful?

Hello everyone,

I’ve been writing on the mercy of God in the midst of how disciplined He is. I explained how God loves sinners but hates the sin. I also explained how Jesus displayed this action as He treated the woman caught in the act of adultery, it was through the mercy shown to her by Jesus that was the foundation of her transformation. The only true transformation comes from the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus, without which no one would understand the mercy and love of God. Today, I intend to elaborate on the mercy of God and how it was possible for God to accept us even after we falter through mercy, I will explain how there is no contradiction to how God operates.

Many times people quote Romans 3:23 alone, but they forget that quoting that verse alone is quoting the verse without context. The head of that verse started from verse 21 and ended at verse 26, reading Romans 3:21-26 would give you a clear view of why verse 23 came about in the first place.

God has a very high standard which is not attainable by any man, however, only one man attained this level of perfection, and He is Jesus the Christ. When you go through the Law of Moses, you will find a lot of unattainable things there. The Law wasn’t bad, on the contrary, it was very holy, and it was we who couldn’t keep it. The truth was that to keep the Law, your heart has to be as perfect and pure as the Law was, or else all that you would be doing would be out of hypocrisy, which was what the Pharisees did.

It was because of our imperfections that the Law exposed our sins. Apostle Paul said in Romans 7:7, “What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Certainly not! On the contrary, I would not have known sin except through the law. For I would not have known covetousness unless the law had said, “You shall not covet.”” The Law was the one that exposed us all, but many thought if they worked at it harder, they would eventually keep the Law, but that was not true, it was impossible to keep the Law. The Law was only given to us to show us how imperfect and miserable we were before God and how we needed a way out, in order words we needed a saviour, one who would rescue us from all these messes.

According to the Amplified version, Hebrews 9:22 says, “[In fact] under the Law almost everything is purified by means of blood, and without the shedding of blood there is neither release from sin and its guilt nor the remission of the due and merited punishment for sins.” In summary, our superhero had to die for us in order for us to be set free. For every sin, there was a punishment which was meted out by God Himself, and it is this same God that is merciful? Let me show you how.

Jesus was the only man of pure blood and therefore, He had to be the sacrifice for us that we may live. The mercy of God is that we all were to die for our iniquities, but He placed it on the sacrifice who is Jesus. That’s not all, we did not even realise we needed a saviour, still, God wanted to save mankind, “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.” Roman 5:8.

Every punishment that was to be placed on us, were all placed on Jesus, past, present, and future sins were all placed on Jesus because He died for our sins once and for all. Bulls and goat were offered to represent Christ, but they could not wash away sins permanently which was why they were always offered, but the blood of Jesus cleansed us once and for all, permanently [ref. Hebrews 10:4, 10].

God made us His righteousness even when we never deserved it [ref. 2 Corinthians 5:21], we have now received a new spirit, that is for those who have chosen to receive what God has offered us. But we won’t know why we need to receive this new spirit of God until we know the reason, which is mercy, love, and grace, explaining the finished works of Christ, and not fear of hell as many present these days. Fear is not the message, but the mercy of God is the message which is why it is called the good news.

To those who have received this new spirit, we are not only to live in it, but also walk in it, displaying the new life in Christ, which we received through His resurrection. Telling people about Christ and not living it is a turn away for many, and I don’t mean the religious, fanatical way of doing things, placing the Bible over their chest as they move, but living a life that shows one being loved and cared for, because really that’s what God does to us as we are now adopted sons and daughters of God. But my write-up on the mercy of God hasn’t ended, log on tomorrow as I continue on the mercy of God.

May the LORD bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you. May the LORD be gracious to you and lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. AMEN.

Grace and Mercy (Part 2)

Hello everyone,

Last time I explained how God is so merciful even when He maintains His standards. I explained how He hates sin, but loves the sinner and would everything to get the sinner to stop the bad habit, which He did through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Also, showing a tip of His love for us, I used the woman caught in the act of adultery to explain how God’s mercy flows towards us, even as He hates the sin itself. Today is a continuation from yesterday, explaining how loving God is.

Many think to accept a person even when they falter is wrong, but they need to properly understand how God deals with matters. First of all, if God was to judge us based on performance, we would all be burnt and dead by now, because no one is perfect or righteous when it comes to performance, our righteousness when we accept Jesus as Lord is actually the righteousness of Christ which He gave to us through Grace.

What we need to understand is that if one fornicates, steals, over-drinks, lies and does many other things in this manner doesn’t make you better than them because your actions are not presentable to God, as He said not one of us is righteousness even with all the ceremonial cleansing that we feel makes us acceptable before Him [ref. Romans 3:10-18].

I remember when I was in the University, the range of score from 0-39 was regarded as ‘F’, so even when a person scores ‘39’ and another scored ‘0’, there was nothing like a strong F and a weak F, all were recorded as F, likewise, there is no small sinner and weak sinner, the Bible says in Romans 3:23, “…for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,” no one is good enough and this was what Jesus showed the men who brought the woman caught in the act of adultery, when He said, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.”

Jesus condemned the woman’s actions but did not condemn her, which was why He granted her mercy. We should show our fellow neighbours and family love by condemning their wrong actions but showing them mercy, it is only there and then that the love of Christ is revealed and understood in their heart that makes them stop the sinful act, because after Romans 3:23, it continues in verse 24 and 25 saying, “…being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.”

We must understand that God hates the sin, but He loves His children, which is why Jesus died and His blood has washed every sin, and as such we are now the righteousness of God [ref. 2 Corinthians 5:21]. We can only know, understand and receive this great grace and mercy of God when it is His love for us that we hear and then meditate on. Those who spread the word of God out should only spread the love and mercy of God which is found in the finished works of Christ.

When we keep studying and meditating on the reason for finished of works Christ, understanding how much God loved us and what we have received even when we really don’t deserve them, this is the gospel truth that transforms us on and on as we get perfected physically in line with the perfect Spirit of God, which is in those who accepted Christ as Lord. The mercy of God is so deep that we cannot fully understand it.

Those who condemn people for their wrong have no love in them or they don’t understand the love of God. The Bible says in Romans 5:20b, “But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more”, this was to show the power that the love and mercy of God through Christ has brought us. His love washes away the sinful nature physically. As you meditate on His love and mercy, you start to see your bad habits fade away because as you meditate, you are to confess who you are in Christ, and you can only receive this by surrendering to Him. You won’t understand why you have to surrender until you hear what He has done for you. This is the gospel truth.

Grace and Mercy

Happy new week everyone,

Many people think God is a mean being, or to put it in a less serious manner, many people see God as a very strict being, that is ready to strike you the moment you falter, wow, but is that really who God is? Let’s find out.

God cannot be referred to as strict, rather He is disciplined but yet merciful. It is this mercy people do not really see, or maybe they know but haven’t experienced it. Let’s take a look at John 8 where a woman caught in the act of adultery was brought to Jesus. Those who brought her said she was caught in the very act and should be stoned according to the Law of Moses, then they asked Him what His take was on the matter, this they did to test Him. Ordinarily, if Jesus allowed her go out of mercy, then He would have broken the Law and they would have something to hold on to, also if He asked for her to be stoned, it would be against the Roman government that ruled over them; but Jesus wasn’t trying to be smart by looking for a good way to get out this trap, instead He simply said the truth in wisdom.

Jesus replied in John 8:7, “So when they continued asking Him, He raised Himself up and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.”” It was then clear at that point that you can’t punish one of sin when you too are also the sinner, so they left. But do you know there was someone there who would have cast the stone at her? It was Jesus because He was without sin, but instead of doing that, what did He do? “When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, “Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?” she said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.” This was mercy and grace in action.

Jesus made it clear to her that He disliked her act of adultery by telling to go and sin no more, but how was she going to do that because sin was her nature? The only way she was going to sin no more was because she had seen the mercy and grace shown to her by Jesus, for John 3:17 says, “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that world through Him might be saved.”

It is the display of love, grace and mercy from God alone that can bring you out of sin into the brand new life of God through Christ Jesus. God is disciplined as He maintains His standards, but He takes us up as His own children and bring us up in love, which naturally bring out the Christ-like nature from inside ourselves, that is to those who have received Christ as Lord, and to those who haven’t, they want to know Him the more.

The mercy of God was what made God give us His grace through the love He has towards us, understanding His love is greater than what we could ever imagine. Log on tomorrow as I continue on this topic.

It All Begins With Love (Part 2)

Happy Sunday everyone,

…continued from the last blog.

Let’s understand that when we walk in the flesh and expect the grace of God to operate through faith when we call, nothing is going to happen, does that mean our attitude must be spotless before we get anything from God? No and yes, no in the sense that it the state of our heart that defines the road we are on, if it rests on Christ, that is having the love of God as its direction, then we see the grace of God manifest in our lives; and yes because when our heart rests continuously on Christ, it then translates to our behaviour which would be just as Christ.

The faith and grace of God came out of love who is God, and if you don’t key into it, you don’t have access to it. To be selfish or self-centred is not a trait of God. God called us here to serve, to think of others first. Jesus said He who wants to be a leader should become a servant, this is faith at work because it boosts our confidence that God’s got your back, all that we ever need has been provided by Him, this is the confidence we should always display and portray wherever we go, and it takes knowing who He is who is love before we can properly understand what He has given to us and then we portray His very essence.

So, know the love of God which is everlasting and then you would properly know and understand His Grace towards us and faith is simply believing it which in turn we walk in the obedience of faith, but it all begins with love.

It All Begins With Love (Part 1)

Hello everyone,

Yesterday, we talked about the importance of how we use our words because of its creative abilities and how our words have been the cause of what we experience in our daily lives. However, I also explained that once you receive Christ as Lord of your life, you gain access to the grace which God has given to us. We need to know what God has given to us through meditation which would then reshape our mind-set and utilise the powers and authority of God through Christ. The words of Christ is the most powerful words that heaven and earth bow to, but in tapping into all these which is through faith, there is something which is very important that we need to have, or else we would just be wasting our time.

If you can remember the when Jesus spoke to the fig tree that later withered, you will remember when Jesus said whatever things you ask when you pray, believe and do not doubt and you will have what you prayed for. My point here is what He said after that which is in Mark 11:25-26 which says, “And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses.” What did Jesus mean there because back then that was the language they understood because Jesus had not been glorified, so their trespasses in form of sin were still very much on them; but now that Jesus has been glorified, what does verse 25 and 26 of Mark 11 really mean? In very simple terms, it means if you don’t have the love of Christ in your heart, nothing would work for you.

When the disciples were astonished at how the tree withered completely in less than a day, Jesus said they should have faith in God, this was the first thing He said. In other words, Jesus was telling them to have the faith of God, which is what every true person who has receive Christ as Lord of their life receives, as I explained that, the faith we now use is the faith of Christ, because only the faith of Christ can truly gain access to the grace of God, but to have the faith of God/Christ in you implies you have the love in you, because God is love [ref. 1 John 4:8]. So you cannot have the love of God and still have something against someone because that is not the trait of God.

…to be continued.

Your Words and the Grace of God

Happy weekend everyone,

In releasing the grace of God upon our lives, I've been explaining how we need to first of all believe the word of Grace with the faith of Christ, it is there and then that we would be able to get in. However, even after believing these powerful words of Grace, our words or how we speak should reflect the word of Grace which is the new covenant.

Do you know that your life is the result of the words you've been speaking? If you never knew, know it today. But there are no words as powerful as the word of God. For God to refer to His word as the sword of the spirit [ref. Ephesians 6:17], it means there is great power in His word. In Hebrews 4:12, the Bible says, "For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." This shows that the words of God are not just mere words, but are spiritual words that are alive.

Even as Jesus is the Word of God, the word He speaks are the words referred to in Hebrews 4:12. These words are the words we possess and we are to use it in our daily lives, they are filled with power and authority in all measure.

We must understand that nothing comes into our lives unless we allow it, this is the power of free moral agency or in simple terms, the power of choice. So, we should be careful with the words we speak for some of them could be harmful to us even without knowing, and as such declaring them into our being. Only speak life into your life and you will see the power at work in your life.

Speak the word of God into your life, your health, finances, your day, your clients or customers and even the persons you want to see come your way and so on. These are not mere words, why? It is because words possess creative abilities which is why using the words of Christ should be what we are to use because they are words which God has designed for us and are the perfect will for us, especially when guided by the Holy Spirit.

It is the continuous declaration of the word of God into our lives that allows us walk in its fullness. Also, remember that the Grace of God means having God reside in us, so when we speak as God speaks, we live the life God enjoys.

In shaping our words, we are to meditate on the word of God day and night, which would affect how and what we speak and in the long run reflect in our lives positively [ref. Romans 12:2; Joshua 1:8; Psalms 1:1-3]. Philippians 4:8 says, "Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report. If there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy--meditate on these things."

It has been established, that which we are to focus on. There would certainly be attacks from your surroundings trying to force you to conform to things opposing what Philippians 4:8 and the word of God says. This is where you use the word as a sword of the spirit as guided by the Holy Spirit.

The word of God is the most powerful force you can't even imagine and we have been given this as Grace in our lives. The word is Jesus and we should be privileged to have Him reside in us through the Holy Spirit. Use your words wisely.

May the LORD bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you. May the LORD be gracious to you and lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace, AMEN.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven't. Pray out loud, "Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!" Congratulations, you're born again, you are now brand new!

Manifesting His Authority on Earth (Part 2)

Hello everyone,

I have been writing on how to unleash the grace of God in our lives through releasing the authority of Christ in our everyday life. Today is a continuation from yesterday’s write-up.

The seed which is the word of God which must be planted is in reference to the parable of the sower which Jesus talked about [ref. Matthew 13:3-23; Mark 4:2-20; Luke 8:4-15]; the soil represents the heart. As Jesus explained only the good soil was the best which was able to utilise the word of God properly, of which in His explanation of the good soil established some key things about the good soil which I would look at, Matthew 13:23 says, “But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, [grasps and comprehends it. AMP] who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.” Mark 4:20 says, “But these are the ones sown on good ground, those who hear the word, accept it, [receive and accepts and welcome it. AMP] and bear fruit: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred.” And last but not the least Luke 8:15 says, “But the ones that fell on the good ground are those who, having heard the word with a noble and good heart, keep it and bear fruit with patience [hold it fast in a just (noble, virtuous) and worthy heart and steadily bring fort fruit with patience. AMP].”

Based on the scripture written above, and putting all together, the one who hears the word of faith is the one who hears the word, understands it, accept it, and with patience and perseverance bear fruit. You need to go out with the word and work with it every time through meditation. The fruit represents the authority in action.

Your words are very powerful, especially when they have to do with the word of God. Jesus said His words are spirit and life, these implies that the words we speak carry power and commands anything it is directed at. Your words shape your life, it decides what you experience. Now, God has shown us how our life is supposed to be under the new covenant, these are what we need to know and declare it into our lives which affects how we speak, how we reason, this brings out the Christ in us and we see the authority of God in action.

We have control over everything in our lives, it is just by declaring who your life is, and your life is the life of Christ. Our lives is completely by faith, it is your belief that decides whatever happens to you.

Manifesting His Authority on Earth

Hello everyone,

Yesterday, it was made clear that God dwells in us, Him living in us is the grace of God given to us, where I explained that the Holy Spirit is a whole package of other things all put together as one. Having the exact authority with God is one thing, activating it is another thing. Today, I will explain how to manifest authority of God in us in our physical world.

Manifesting the authority of Christ in our everyday lives is very important. In my authority series few weeks back, I wrote on this, but there are things I left out which would be added as I explain how to manifest the authority of Christ in our everyday life.

In manifesting the authority of God, we need to first of all know and believe the authority, and this is done on through faith. Faith here in simple terms means to receive that which has been offered by God through Christ, which is why in Romans 10:17, it says, “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” The only way you have access to the authority of Christ is to know about it, and this is done by those whom God has sent to spread this good news [ref. Romans 10:14-15]. There have to be a communication, it doesn’t just come to you like that until someone spreads the message, even through God Himself passing this message, there must be communication. It is when the message has been passed it is then up to you to receive it.

Now, when you look at the second half of Romans 10:17, it says, “…and hearing by the word of God.” This implies that the ability to hear the right message that causes faith in your heart is not from you but from God! The faith you use when you become a member of the body of Christ is not your faith, our faith is so carnal that it cannot take the load of what God has in store for us. So, you need a perfect and pure heart that has passed the God-test and only Jesus passed this test. Again, you see why you cannot boast in your abilities.

Galatians 2:20 says, “I have been crucified with Christ, it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” The KJV made it clearer by saying the life we now live, we live by the faith of the Son of God, thus making clearer that it is Christ’s faith that we use in living here on earth. So, when the scriptures say, “For the just shall live by faith”, it simply means we activate the faith of Christ as we live here on earth. The faith of Christ was one of the several gifts given to those who received Christ into their lives, so we can make use of it as we receive the word.

Now, the faith of Christ in us gives us the ability to hear the word of God which is translated to faith. The word when received is a seed which should be planted and grown in our heart, and how is this done? It is done through the constant meditation on the word of faith which you heard. An example could be a person who is sick, he hears the word of faith which says, “By the stripes of Jesus, you were made healed.” In order to activate this, he needs to meditate on the word in his heart, get it established in his soul, that is, his mind, will and emotion which then translates into the body. Then he has to confess the word as his affirmation on what he stands on which then brings healing to the body. Confession is very important, it brings out and establishes what the heart has concluded upon.

In manifesting the authority of Christ in simple terms could simply mean believing the word and then confessing the word. The believing in split seconds have to do with the meditation of that word, allowing it to become the only truth you know, which of course has been the only truth in the first place.

There are deeper insights in manifesting the authority of Christ in our lives even from meditation, log on tomorrow as I continue on how to manifest the authority of Christ here on earth.

May the LORD bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you. May the LORD be gracious to you and lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. AMEN.

The Grace of God is Deeper Than You Think (Part 2)

Hello everyone,

Yesterday, I explained how God has given us Himself as the Holy Spirit through Jesus as the grace of God. The Holy Spirit is a whole package which contains a lot of great things which I would explain today.

Let’s take a good look at the Ephesians prayer by Apostle Paul in Ephesians 1:17-21, the passage talks of how he, Paul had always prayed to God on behalf of the Ephesians brethren that they receive the wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of God. He went further that they receive proper understanding of this enabling them to know the purpose of their inheritance, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.” Ephesians 1:19-21. The entire prayer is so deep, it explains that God has given us the same power that God used to raise Jesus from the dead, the same power which Jesus now has above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but in that which is to come.

How is this possible? You haven’t gotten the reason why this is possible yet? It is because God lives and resides in us now and permanently! We don’t have access to some powers of God, but we have access to ALL the powers and authority of God because He resides in us. We now have power over sickness, over hunger, over wealth, over health, prosperity, over everything you could ever think of and that which your mind cannot ever imagine. This is not just grace, but super-grace!

If you are being weighed down by anything such as your finances, it’s because you haven’t taken hold of what you believe in. You are not meant to fall sick or be poor why because it is not in the DNA of God. It is only the things that can affect Christ that can affect you, as He has all authority over everything, so also you have authority over all these things, but having all these things doesn’t just manifest all these. The question now is how exactly do you manifest all these authority? Log on tomorrow to find out.

The Grace of God is Deeper Than You Think

Hello everyone,

Today is a continuation from yesterday where I started explaining how great God’s love and grace really is, but today explains in detail what this grace of God really is.

In a past write-up of mine I made reference to Matthew 7:7-11 and Luke 11:9-13, comparing Matthew 7:11 and Luke 11:13. The passage was about when Jesus spoke about the popular ask, seek and knock, then Matthew 7:9-11 says, “Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent? And then verse 11 says, “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him! the Luke’s account had a clearer picture of what the good things God gives to those who ask Him, verse 13 of Luke 11 says, “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!” It was then clear that the Holy Spirit is the good things God is ready to give to those who ask Him. All these were before the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus who was the sacrifice that restored us back to God, but before we shout yippee, know what this grace really is or who it is.

The passage we read made it clear that it is the Holy Spirit who is the exact Spirit of God/Jesus, but we can’t gain access to it except through Jesus. Jesus is the grace we have been given because through Him and in Him we have access to the grace God has given to us which is having the Holy Spirit dwell in us, in other words God is living in us. Alright, okay, I’m sure you must be saying things like “I’ve this before I know the Holy Spirit resides in us the moment we accept Jesus into our lives”, but have you ever stopped to think again that for God Himself to refer to this as grace it must be bigger than we think!

Grace again means unmerited, undeserved favour, meaning there was nothing in our lives that we would have done to merit this favour God has given us, not our books or even living an excellent moral life because God said no one is righteous, no one is good, not even one [ref. Romans 3:9-19], so it was clear that God later calling us the righteousness of God through Christ according to 2 Corinthians 5:21 had nothing to do with us at all in any way. The only thing that made us gain access to such great wealth of grace was just by believing [ref. John 3:16].

Look you have to understand that there was nothing we could have done that was worth God giving us what He has offered us today, nothing! The only way was just to believe and we also need to understand that when you call something a first aid box it means an item that contains several items in it, the same is also said of the Holy Spirit, it contains several things even beyond what we can fathom that is Him (Holy Spirit), this is what we need and have to know or else we would keep underrating what God has given to us.
