There is a man whose office is just a walking distance from him. So, he enjoys taking a walk every morning. He takes a path where he walks over granites.w
One day he closed late from work, and taking his usual path home, he got to the path where he walked over granites, but as he walked over it, it was so loud and probably noisy. He wondered to himself why he never noticed how loud walking on the granites was all the while he took the path to and fro his office. So, he decided to pay attention the next.
As he walked over the granites the next morning a on his way to his office, he couldn't hear the sound of the granite at all. And it dawned on him that the surrounding noise of the vehicles every day and the pedestrians overshadowed the loud noise he experienced walking over the granites the day he closed late.
So, what's my point in all this? The point here is that just as the vehicular noise overshadowed the noise of walking over the granites, the same can be experienced when we worry because worry prevents you from hearing God's leading and direction over your life. It is only when the vehicular noises are gone that you can hear the sound produced when walking over the granites. Likewise, unless you stop worrying that can proper leading from God through His word and the Holy Spirit.
And to worry is forcing yourself to take up a job that you are not and will never be qualified for.
What to eat, drink, wear, how to run your life, and more. All this isn't your job or business, it is God's business.
Your job is to be guided and led to walk into the perfect will of God for your life.
Jesus told us in Matthew 6:25-34, that there is no point worrying about what to eat, drink, wear and more isn't our business, because the person who is in charge of that has sorted all that, and this person is God Himself.
Stop doing God's job, so, that you can focus on your business, which can only be done when we stop worrying and start listening and obeying the leadings of God Himself, who has perfected our lives. And given us Jesus in whom are hidden all treasures of wisdom and knowledge, (ref.: Colossians 2:3). What else do you want that hasn't been given to you?
Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t? Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!
