What would most likely come to your mind whenever you hear the terms mission and vision statements? I believe it's a company's profile. But everyone created by God has a vision and mission statement for their individual life.
Sons and Daughters of God, of course, are not left out because the general mission and vision statement was spelt out in Matthew 28:18-20, which says, "And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. ¹⁹ Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and the Holy Spirit, ²⁰ teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen."
But aside from the general mission and vision statement, every Son and Daughter of God have their individual mission and vision statements.
You were not just sent to the world to follow the system of the world in carrying out your daily routine. You are to dig into the word of God to reveal Jesus more into your soul and allow the Holy Spirit of Jesus who lives inside of you to reveal your mission and vision.
You need to know why you were born, and your purpose here on earth for the Kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. This is your vision. And how to achieve your purpose, which is your mission. This is where the Holy Spirit comes in as He leads and guides you into all truth, as you are led to into your life choices.
Remember, the Lord will never leave you nor forsake you as He is our great provider, and protector, we should always trust Him because some things we may be led to do by the Holy Spirit might not make sense. And don't get me started on the devil and it's distractions filled with excitement that appears logical, till you are lured into to systems of this world, you start forgetting your vision here on earth, why Jesus sent you.
Whatever the Holy Spirit tells you must have its bearing from the word of God, and Jesus ALONE is glorified for what the Holy Spirit asks to do as a mission. There is no you involved as regards your selfish cravings for the flesh, no matter how logical they may seem. This is because deep down in your spirit, you know what the Holy Spirit tells you to do is true and right even if your flesh wants a different thing.
Trust the Lord Jesus alone, and ensure the words of the Holy Spirit are true through your meditation of the word of God revealing Jesus because Him alone must be glorified.
What the Holy Spirit would tell you to carry out would fall in line with your vision, which in turn enables you to carry out the general vision as seen in Matthew 28:18-20.
Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t? Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!
