You're Always On His Mind

Have you ever been in a deep situation that it looks like God isn't there? To some it could be in times where everything was against you. People lied against you, when you were completely innocent. You later lost your job at the same place. It just seemed bad, and sort of like God was nowhere to be found. This is just a scenario to a person.

The scriptures says in Psalms 139:17-18 saying, "¹⁷How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them! ¹⁸If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand; When I awake, I am still with You." God has always been there, He never left us, not even for a second.

The Passion Translation puts it thus, "Every single moment you are thinking of me! How precious and wonderful to consider that you cherish me constantly in your every thought! O God, your desires toward me are more than the grains of sand on every shore! When I awake each morning, you’re still with me." Psalms 139:17‭-‬18.

God is always there in our every step. No matter what we go through He is there guiding us. We must remember that He is always there to guide us, but for to do things, He cannot force us to follow His steps. And remember the devil brings lies so real to us that we think they are real.

So, what we must never forget to do as we move on are:

He was always guiding us, so we must to listen to guidance through His word.

In line with this, we must never forget that even though God never caused the mishaps in our lives, the mishaps could be used by God to depend and trust in Him, and we see our lives turnout better than we could ever imagine, (ref.: Proverbs 20:24.

Another thing we must never forget is that we often times take what the devil throw at us as real, and fall victim of it. And this happens when we confess its lies, and the lies become a reality.

The Lord is our good Shepherd, (ref.: John 10:7-18), He takes us as His own children, so His eyes are always on us, because of His great love towards us. However, He cannot force things on us, because we choose by ourselves. But His ways are clearly spelt out in Jesus, through His word, by living His life when we receive it.

We must pay attention to His warnings as we live our lives. Several times, we don't see the signs around us that He has laid down to guide us, and end up in situations we would have avoided if we paid attention to His guidance.

Also, when things happen like being fired from work, could be a sign from Him for something even bigger or to follow Him. But He never puts us in danger, because He is our Father.

The point we must note here is that no matter what happens to us, we must always look up to Him for guidance and direction, because He never left us in the first place. He loves us beyond our widest dreams, and we MUST never forget that—we are always on His mind.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!
