Are You Preparing For Rain?

I know I must have given the story I want to give now. So, here it goes. Two farmers prayed for rain because there hadn't been rain for planting that period and they really needed rain.

The first farmer prayed for rain from a genuine heart. The second farmer also prayed to God from a genuine heart. But there was something the second farmer did that the first farmer didn't do, he prepared his farm for rain. The question I would ask is, who really needed rain?

We all have reasons to pray to God for thing, or to declare His words out of faith. But we must always ask ourselves if we are ready to receive what we prayed for, or what we declared His words for.

The truth we must always remember is that the preparation is really the work of faith. On other words, it is the works Apostle James wrote of in James 2:26.

Our actions shows where our rest is. When we pray to God we prepare for the result at any moment by our actions. It is a sign of trust and belief.

When we don't prepare, it is a clear sign of unbelief.

Children display this trust through their actions as they prepare to receive what daddy or mummy had promised to give them. The same is done when we trust God.

So, when you pray for healing, do you prepare for that healing? When you pray for that financial breakthrough, have you prepared for it? And several things.

The truth is that as Sons and Daughters of God, God has blessed us with all Spiritual blessings, so we our job in line with these things is to prepare to receive them, because God doesn't receive on our behalf, that is our job.

So, are you preparing for rain?

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!
