What is real? We wake up in the morning, we see our houses, the people around us, in fact just everything we experience. But the truth about this is that it's not everything we see that is real. What am I talking about?
1 John 4:17 says, "By living in God , love has been brought to its full expression in us so that we may fearlessly face the day of judgment, because all that Jesus now is, so are we in this world." 1 John 4:17 TPT. The Passion Translation commentary on this verse says, ""because we are what He is in this world." The verb tense is important. We are not like Jesus was, but because of grace, we are like He is now: pure and holy, seated in heaven, and glorified. Faith has transferred His righteousness to us."
The verse says as Jesus is right now, so are we. And the we refers to those who have received Jesus as their new life, Lord and Saviour. So, before we know who Jesus is right now, let us know what is real.
When a Son or Daughter of God is told that he or she is sick, that sickness isn't real, even though it appears so real. The real reason why the sickness isn't real is because Jesus right now is perfect health defined, and remember, as He is, so are the Sons and Daughters of God. The Sons and Daughters of God cannot be poor because wealth is found in Christ Jesus, and all of Him are who the Sons and Daughters of God are. Those are what is real. But aren't the things we see on earth real?
The things which are found in the lives of some Sons and Daughters of God which aren't found in the life of Christ are because they aren't conscious of the truth that their existence is completely Christ and not what the system of this world says. So, in their spirit is the complete Jesus life, but they need to confess and believe it to activate it or else they would hold on to what isn't true and think it is real and true, which isn't real.
In my next write-up I'll explain what happened to all who received Jesus Christ as their life. There is something we all need to take note of, which would strengthen us to hold on to Jesus as our life.
Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!
