The Flow of Eternal Life To Your Daily Life

Hi everyone,

Last time I wrote on what those born of God inherited in Christ. Just as Adam inherited death, all those born under him inherited the same thing. But the last Adam, Jesus brought life (as He Himself is life), so all those born under Him have inherited life.

Death comes with sickness, diseases, poverty, depression, pain, aches, and things similar to it. Likewise Life comes with health, wealth, peace of mind, strength, no more death and more.

Today, my focus is on growth in Christ Jesus. What many don't know is that eternal life, even of the body, starts the moment a person becomes a new creation. What happens is that many believe what is bound to happen alone is we drop the physical body when we sleep, and the Spirit and soul goes up till the second coming of Jesus Christ. But no, eternal life starts immediately when you become a new creature, because that is the life you inherited.

How do we manifest the eternal life here on earth?

As a person becomes a new creation, he already has eternal life, he doesn't need to look for it. What he needs is to pour it out.

Now, the reason why there is no manifestation is because the person is ignorant of his new life. And this is because of the soul. Now why the soul?

The soul is where the mind, will and emotions sit. What happened the day a person becomes a new creation is a change of spirit, but not a change of the soul and body. Both would have been transformed if and only if the soul submitted to the Spirit.

Why is the soul not submitting to the new Spirit?

The soul was only told of a change in management, but not a change in how things go. The soul is very dedicated to its duties. And whatever the soul says it reflects in the body. The body is just a reflection of what the soul stands on.

The Spirit is full of power of our Lord Jesus. But cannot be seen or experienced in the body till the soul comes to the understanding of this. Now, the way the soul would know is to be told it is now. And Romans 12:1 says, "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which  is your reasonable service." Now, this is expected when you become born again.

Then for the new Spirit to flow or manifest, Romans 12:2 continues thus, "And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God." To renew your mind implies to unlearn who you're not by relearning who you are. And who you are comes with hearing, (ref.: Romans 10:17).

The scriptures explains who you are, especially when your focus is on Jesus—His death, burial, and resurrection.

When you meditate on who you are, you are retraining you soul to submit to your new Spirit. And since your Spirit is already brand new, the areas where your soul has submitted to your Spirit flows through your soul and manifests in your body. (I'LL EXPLAIN IN DETAIL IN MY NEXT POST).

So, our effort here would be to meditate on the word as often as possible for the renewal of our mind and the transformation of our bodies. This is how miracles happen, and this is the growth process.

In my next post, I'll explain in detail how this growth happens, and how the Spirit flows through your soul to your body, to see the resurrected life of Christ flow as your daily life.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!
