Hello everyone,
Do you know that whatever you believe affects your body, because that’s what mind rests on? That most likely wouldn’t be news, but what you must understand is that whatever you rest on is either true or false and this affects your body or your reality. So, how do you identify what is true or false? This is my focus in today’s write-up.
Both Joshua 1:8 and Psalms 1:1-3 talks of that person who focuses and meditates on the word of God day and night. Psalms 1 especially says the man who does this is blessed, which would also mean happy, fortunate, prosperous, and enviable, and this is what everyone would want right? Now, let’s go into how to identify truth and false, and link all these things up.
Jesus in the Gospel of John 8:44b spoke of the devil, “He was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.” Now it is clear that whatever the devil says or does is a lie and is false in every way. Jesus, on the other hand, said in the Gospel of John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” Jesus didn’t just say He says the truth, He said He is the truth personified. In other words, truth proceeds out from Him.
Jesus and the Holy Spirit, and God the Father are the same, but in three persons. Thus, when you study the word of God that says by the stripes of Jesus you were healed; you have the fullness of Christ in you; you have the mind of Christ, and many more, and the Holy Spirit strengthens you that these are in you being born again, are these true or false? They are true, but why do we not believe this? When a born-again person has cancer, cancer is not part of the body of Christ, therefore, you are not meant to have cancer. The Holy Spirit through the word of God makes you understand that you can’t have cancer, so anyone who tells you that you have cancer is telling a lie, but why do we believe the lie. This is what we need to remind ourselves every time, but why does it feel hard to believe what we know is true?
The reason why it appears as though the truth is not believed even though we know that it is the truth, is simply that we haven’t gotten to know the Truth Himself properly. We have been so engrossed on what the lie says than what the truth says and who He is, the more we meditate on the word of God says about who Jesus is right now, seated at the right hand of God, the more we understand who we are in Christ, just the way the more you know a person, the more you get closer to a person, and your level of trust increases, that’s for someone as Jesus. God is not a man that should lie, so the more you get close to Him, the more you manifest the fullness of Christ in you, and then you become the man Psalms 1 and Joshua 1:8 are talking about.
The world has its foundation on a lie, this is why it is expedient for us to know who the Truth is more and more, so as to shift focus from lies to truth, which would allow us to live the perfect life God ordained for us.
May the LORD bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you. May the LORD be gracious to you and lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. AMEN.
Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!
