The Power Behind Trust

Hello everyone,

Really, is it easy to trust a person in this world that we live in? Well, it isn’t, but that doesn’t mean it is impossible to trust. For you to trust a person, that person must have proven himself worthy in many cases for another person to trust him. And you need to be close to a person to find out how much you can trust the person. To trust could also mean to rely on, lean on, and be confident in a person, and as I said, it is not easy to find a person who you can always count at any and every time.

Psalms 37:3 says, “Trust in the LORD, and do good; dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness.” How do we know God is faithful? We know this because He has always proven Himself worthy of trust at every moment. Every time He tells a person to trust Him, that person never gets forsaken, and this gives good reason to trust God, (ref. Psalms 37:25). He has done this and He keeps and will always show Himself worthy of trust.

The God is not a man that He would lie, nor a son of man that would need to repent. He also said He is the Truth, not just that He says the truth, He Himself is the Truth personified, (ref. Numbers 23:19; John 14:6). Psalm 37:3b from the Amplified Bible says, “so shall you dwell in the land and feed surely on His faithfulness, and truly you shall be fed.” When you come to understand how trustworthy God/Jesus is then you would then be able to feed on His faithfulness, and truly you will be fed, and why is that so? It is because you trust Him. So how does my trusting in Him really affect my life? Log on tomorrow to find out.

May the LORD bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you. May the LORD be gracious to you and lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. AMEN.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!

Log on next time.
