Let's Examine Your Battle Suit (Part 2)

Hi everyone,

Last time I wrote on the waist of truth found in the armour of God, as I said the waist of truth is what convicted us when we went through the word of God which serves as what we hold on to, and this is achieved through the leading of the Holy Spirit.

It represents the moral courage, the personal integrity, that thing which strengthens us no matter what, which is all that the Holy Spirit does when we face the evil distractions of this world, for the Holy Spirit, leads us in the path of righteousness.

Today, I would be looking at the second part of the whole armour of God found in Ephesians 6:14, which says, “having put on the breastplate of righteousness.” Now, this is deep.

2 Corinthians 5:21 says, “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” What does this mean? It means that the purpose of Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection was to make you the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. And this can only be achieved when we believe in Jesus and confess Him as Lord of our life, in other words, becoming born again.

We become the righteousness of God when we get translated into a brand new life in Christ Jesus. Now, becoming the righteousness of God is a change of heart, as it isn’t just a change in attitude, but a total change of the person. But the devil doesn’t want us to see that we have changed which is why he attacks us by telling you, you are still filthy and stinking before God, even after being born again. But this is a lie.

So, the breastplate of faith signifies righteousness and holiness before God, as we can step into the Holy of holies, for we are now united with God again. This is what we are to know, believe and understand. This is one of the things that hasten the renewal of your mind and the transformation of your body.

When you confess to yourself that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, they are not mere words, but words of transformation, as it brings out the hidden treasure of Christ in you, which is the fullness of God in Christ Jesus that we received when became born again.

Do not let the lies of the devil get to you, you must protect your heart against his lies, as you gird yourself up having the waist of truth that strengthens who you have become—the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

Hi everyone,

I once wrote that many times we give the devil powers he doesn’t have. For instance, some of us think the devil attacks us and gives us sickness and other infirmities, but the devil doesn’t have the power to create, therefore he cannot even create sickness, we are the one who gets deceived by the devil and affirm what isn’t true into our lives and it becomes a reality. Now, don’t look at me saying “don’t you know how serious it is, the devil brought this upon us.” And I’ll say, nope, the devil can’t and will never be able to create sickness now that Jesus made a public shame of him (devil) (ref.: Colossians 2:15).

However, the devil can take hold of not living things, like his demons entering them to do devious things. His demons can also get in an unsaved soul, but then again he can’t force himself into the life of the unsaved, surprising isn’t it? He is a weak idiot. The best he’s got is to deceive, but even with that, he is really good at that especially with the fact that we were born to meet the world in a mess, and we called it normal, this is what the devil uses to deceive us, as we are not used to the true life of Christ, as everything around, is abnormal and is getting worse by the second. Therefore, we must be very careful, by meditating on the word of God and being guided by the Holy Spirit.

Now, in standing our foot on who we have become by being transformed into the life of Jesus, thus having His Spirit, we need to take up the whole armour of God. Ephesians 6:13 says, “Therefore take up the whole armour of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” The armour of God is to help us to withstand in the evil day and still stand afterwards. So, I would be taking the parts of the armour and explain them one after the other.

Ephesians 6:14a says, “Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth.” So, what is the waist of truth? There is a word we received in our soul that convicted us away from this evil world. This word of truth we heard is about Truth Himself—Jesus. The Holy Spirit, therefore, is the one who strengthens us in difficult times like this, He is the one who leads us through the path of righteousness.

The word of truth becomes our personal integrity and moral courage, what we fastened on us, as that is where we stand, and in so doing, when we go through trials and temptation, we remember the word of truth as that which is the only truth, not as being religious, but as that which is true that we are confident about, as are being led by the Holy Spirit, who I said uses the word of truth to lead us through the path of righteousness, which coincidentally is the second path of the whole armour of God. As Ephesians 6:14b says, “having put on the breastplate of righteousness.” This I would look into tomorrow.

Do not forget, we need the whole armour of God, not some parts of the whole armour of God to withstand in the evil day and the word of truth is just one of them. Log on tomorrow as I continue in explaining the whole armour of God.

Let's Put "It" Where "It" Belongs (Part 2)

Hello everyone,

In my last blog post, I quoted Ephesians 6:13 which says, “Therefore take up the whole armour of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” As I wrote yesterday, the devil’s intention is for us not to focus on Jesus, especially those who have been transformed into the new life of Jesus, because for those who are ill, all they have to do is to focus on Jesus and they metamorphose into Jesus physically and their illnesses go, why? Because they manifest who Jesus is, and this is Grace. It is not by their making or effort.

Jesus in John 3:14 said, “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, ₁₅that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.” Jesus was talking about how He would die, and what we would get in return which is the salvation Jesus gave us, and perfect health is part of salvation, but the devil doesn’t want you to know that Jesus has given you His health on a platter of gold by Grace, just by believing in Him. The devil wants you to believe you would have to work and sweat for it. And in avoiding falling for the devil, we need to take up the armour of God.

Ephesians 6:14-17 talks about the armour of God. We are to gird our waist with truth, in other words, we know Jesus is the truth and is also our salvation, this is what we are to hold fast on not turning to any other thing that would sway you away, and in doing that, you would be strengthened.

You are to have a breastplate of righteousness, in order words, you are to know the Son of who you are, thus understanding that holiness is your new life which would not allow any other thing come near your heart.

You are to have your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace, in other words, you must be alert and be ready to stand for what is true, sharing the good news of peace to everyone around you.

Verse 16 says above all you are to take up the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the devil. In other words, the devil’s words are lies, and to fix your eyes on Jesus increase your faith in Him, and for your faith to increase means the devil's deceit won’t work on you, this was what Jesus did when the devil came to tempt Him.

You are also to take up the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. In other words, the helmet signifies where you stand and the lies of the devil cannot penetrate. The sword of the Spirit is the word of God that destroys any deception put up by the devil, thus it requires meditation and confession of God’s word, which Jesus also did when the devil came to tempt Him in the wilderness.

The whole armour of God represents all that we must do in putting the devil in its place. However, I would take each part of the armour of God one part at a time and fully explain its importance to those in the body of Christ, those who have been transformed into the kingdom of Christ Jesus. We must not that the devil is already a defeated foe, as Jesus gave Him a mighty blow when He went to hell (ref.: Colossians 2:15). It is now left to us to believe that’s all. And this aspect is what the devil doesn’t want us to do, as right believing implies right living.

Yesterday, I was able to explain how the devil ensures he takes our attention from Jesus to our body, and in doing that, we lose focus and that is where he strikes. The truth of all this matter is that binding the devil from a place isn’t the way some do it, because we must understand that it is not by our strength we bind the devil. Some would think because they are under the newly transformed life in Jesus, they can do anything. Yes, you can do anything, but you cannot do anything without Jesus, in other words, you must understand that it is Jesus and not you that is rebuking the devil. You are just a vessel for Jesus to operate through. Remember, there is no you anymore, only Christ, so, the power and authority displayed is Christ’s and not yours, and because Christ now dwells in you, you've got to recognise that He is the one in charge of your body and not you because the “you” doesn’t exist anymore. So, let’s get down to business, how do we avoid the devil’s trickery by putting Jesus in charge as I just explained? Let’s find out.

Again, Ephesians 6:12 says, “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” We, understand this battle takes place in our mind, as I explained yesterday and the day before that, and it is not a small battle, it is a serious one, as the devil attacks with all he’s got to take your eyes off Jesus. He brings distractions upon distractions, deceit upon deceit just to take our eyes off Jesus.

The truth is sometimes we fall into his trap, but if you look at the cup half empty rather looking at the cup half full, you’ll fall down and wimp like a little girl. Yes, it could be painful, but what was the intention of the devil again? To take your eyes off Jesus! Just remember this, so instead of crying, you focus on Jesus even more which strengthens us the more. The Bible says in Proverbs 24:16, “For a righteous man may fall seven times and rise again, but the wicked shall fall by calamity.” You may fall, but that is not where you’re meant to be, you’re to rise again and focus on Jesus who is now your life, who is the source of the renewal of your mind, and the transformation of your body. So, let’s continue, how do we put this evil genius in ‘its’ place?

Let us look at Ephesians 6:13 which says, “Therefore take up the whole armour of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” This is how you put the devil in “its” place.

Wait do you think I’m going to end there without explaining the whole armour of God? Yes and No. Yes, because I have to stop here today, and No because log on tomorrow and I’d breakdown the whole armour of God to you and see the devil as trash, really the guy [actually thing] is trash. So, log on tomorrow, same time, and same blog post and get your faith active.

Why We Fall Ill [Even After Being Born Again] (Part 2)

Happy new week everyone,

Yesterday, I wrote on the part one of Why We Fall Ill [Even After Being Born Again]. Today is the second part of yesterday’s topic. I wrote that every sickness and infirmity has its origin from the spirit realm. Also, ill-health isn’t an attribute of those born of Christ Jesus, but we still see some getting ill. And I said the devil through deceit makes us confess sickness into existence since he cannot create. So, today, I’d be looking at how to tackle this deceit, in other words, how do we prevent ourselves from falling prey to the devil’s evil schemes?

As I rounded up yesterday, I wrote that there is another way the devil gets to us, and this is a major issue that needs to be addressed. Two popular verses would help me begin my explanation and they are Galatians 2:20 and 2 Corinthians 5:17. Galatians 2:20 says, “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” While 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”

Galatians 2:20 says “I” has been crucified. The “I” here is the old spirit inherited from the first Adam, and this “I” is dead, crucified, so who is your new spirit? 2 Corinthians 5:17 tells us that a new creation now lives in our body, and this new creation is our new spirit. Galatians 2:20 says this new life lives by the faith of the Son of God, in other words, you don’t exist by your faith, but by the faith of Jesus who is the Son of God. Even Colossians 3:4 makes us understand that Jesus is our life, thus the “I” was replaced by Jesus, so where am I driving at?

Colossians 3:2-3 says, “Set your mind on things above, not things on the earth. ₃For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.” The NIV says in Hebrews 12:2 that we should fix our eyes on Jesus, and many more verses to back this up. What does these mean? It is saying that we don’t exist anymore, the One who lives is Jesus. The reason why we need to renew our mind is to search the scripture and meditate only on Jesus, because He now is our life, and as the soul is understanding this, we see the physical transformation in our bodies.

So, where does the devil come in all these? The devil is a liar, as Jesus said that the devil has been lying since the beginning. Thus, what the devil does is to call our attention to our unrenewed body, making us feel that old man that died is still alive, and by doing so, we take our eyes off Jesus to our body. And this is the very intention of the devil. He doesn’t want us to know that we have been transformed, even when we know, he doesn’t want our minds renewed by bringing out the fullness of Christ in us, he does everything possible to take our eyes away from Jesus, and as we take our eyes off Jesus to our bodies, we see flaws and confess them unknowingly, and this is how ill-health come to play. This is wrestle that Ephesians 6:12 talks about, it is the battle of the mind. How then do we tackle this?

I thought I could write on the last question today, but I had to explain this other deceit the devil uses on us, and how we must know this deceit he uses. In tackling the deceit of the devil, log on, same time tomorrow, as I address this issue.

Why We Fall Ill [Even After Being Born Again] (Part 1)

Happy Sunday everyone,

Our health is very important, even for those who claim to live in the spirit because once this body is damaged beyond repair, we are forced to return to God which is why we need to take good care of it. Sickness or ill health is not what one wants to have, and this is most times caused by the breakdown of the immune system when exposed to certain bacteria, disease, viruses, or lack of proper vitamins and minerals in the body.

Now, everything physical has its spiritual origin, therefore sicknesses and diseases have their origin as a result of the sin nature of the spirit which has affected the soul and the body manifests the sin nature in the physical realm which leads to death. But if you remember, I wrote that there are two worlds, the world of the first Adam, which is the world having the sin nature and the world of our Lord Jesus Christ, having the life of God. Every Man reflects where he or she comes from, either the life of the first Adam or the life of Jesus.

The life of Jesus is perfect and without sin therefore, since it is without sin, then it is with our sickness, disease, any infirmity. Now, the question one would ask is why do we fall sick even after being translated into the kingdom of Jesus? Yes, many of you would say, it is because the transformation is a gradual process. True, true, but in this case it more than that, and I’d explain why.

Ephesians 6:12 says, “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” Now, as we renew our minds to get physically manifest Christ, we are under attack from the evil one, and in many cases, the evil one—the devil attacks our health. This shouldn’t be new to you right, but let us understand that the devil cannot create, and Jesus took all the powers from him, so how does he get to touch us? The answer is simple, through our minds.

The devil is the Father of lies, Jesus said every word that comes out of the mouth of the devil is lies and deceit. In order words, every attack ganged up against us is a lie, wow! But if it is a lie, how does it still get to us?

I wrote on this before, that since the devil isn’t a creator, he uses deceit on those who have the powers to create—humans. Do you think any of those sicknesses you had were real, especially in this pandemic? None of them including the present pandemic were real at the beginning, but it later became real because we helped the devil, how?

The devil attacks our mind through deceit by placing signs and symptoms around to make it appear as sickness or disease as the case may be, still, it hasn’t gotten into us, but the moment we say, “I think I am down with a fever [for example], immediately, the fever becomes real, why? Death and life are in the power of the tongue (ref.: Proverbs 18:21), and this goes for every person in both worlds. This is how even when born of Jesus, you still fall ill.

So, how do we tackle this evil genius, because this is an attack from him? Before going into that there is also another reason he gets to us, which would be found in tomorrow’s blog post, so log on tomorrow, same time.

The Power Behind Patience

Happy weekend everyone,

I remember when I was a little boy, a man came and planted mango seeds. He wanted to trees so the seeds were planted not too far from each other. I came around every week and saw how they grew gradually. It took some years before it became a proper tree. My point today here is on patience, I’ve written on patience before but I feel it is not too much to write on it again.

You must have heard of the saying, “Patience is a virtue”, I am very serious with you, that saying is not a joke. I also remember a short poem I was given to say when I was in Nursery 1 which says, “Little by little, I learn to know, the little I know, I will never forget.” Those lines I never forgot, but I really didn’t follow them as good as I remember the sayings. The truth is that we cannot be patient on our own by our self. In fact the more you force yourself to be patient, the more you blow it.

Patience wasn’t listed as a fruit of the Spirit for nothing, if it was something we could attain by human ability, then it won’t be listed as a fruit of the Spirit. Just like the mango trees I watched till it started bringing forth fruit, likewise the life of the one who becomes born again into Christ Jesus. As we meditate on the word of God, listen to the Holy Spirit’s leading, strengthen our Spirit-Man through praise and thanksgiving, eventually the fruit of the Spirit start to manifest, and patience is one of them.

Patience is a sign that you are being led by the Holy Spirit. The world is aimed at getting you annoyed and frustrated, especially when you have bills to pay and you get a leading of how to go about sorting it through the word of God. You see the process given by God, but the world shouting at you to take a faster route, because sometimes it may appear as if the way of the word is too slow, but what we fail to understand atime is that what we think is a faster route isn’t a faster route, it is a longer route, not only is a longer route, it is a route that comes with its own troubles, and even when you think you have sorted that first trouble, you would have other troubles to sort and then you would wish you were patient enough to listen to the word of the Lord.

We lose a lot of things by being impatient. Being born again doesn’t mean all your troubles disappear instantly. Yes, they do instantly in the Spiritual realm, but because your soul needs to be renewed, it takes a while for troubles to clear out, and this is where you need patience to strengthen you as you face the trials here on earth as your soul is being renewed.

As you get a leading of the Holy Spirit on what to do,

as long as it is from the Lord with double assurance from the word of God, be patient, and follow every step. Yes, it may not be easy which is why we have the Holy Spirit who is our friend and is also to strengthen us when we want to faint. A popular verse in Proverbs 3:5-6 says, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; ₆ In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall make direct your paths.”

I tell you the truth, I’ve leaned on my understanding several times, feeling His way was not solving my issues fast enough, and nothing worked for me till I went back to Him and followed Him all the way. His word is truth, and He is not a man that should lie, nor a son of man that should repent. If He said it He would do it to favour you and glorify Him. You achieve more being patient in Him, so be patient today and see God’s Grace move through you.

Harnessing His Wealth: The True Purpose of His Wealth

Hi everyone,

This week I’ve been writing on the topic Harnessing His Wealth, it is a finance series, in understanding God’s plan for your life as regards wealth. We understand that wealth is not a do or die affair, it is something God has given to everyone individually. We now understand that the greatest form of wealth is the fullness of Christ Jesus whom God gave us, and anyone who ever believes in Him and become born again into the kingdom of Jesus becomes wealthy automatically.

Also, I wrote that as we are in Christ, we are to be led by the Holy Spirit who guides us when we identify our individual path when meditating on the Word who actually is Jesus and is our map. The Holy Spirit is the One who leads us as we walk through our path. We also found out that if we walk through our path and can’t harness His wealth, it is because we are not adding value to that which we have identified as the tool used in harnessing His wealth, and we cannot add value without the Holy Spirit showing us what to add and how to add value.

I wrote that we need to be patient and trust the map (the word/Jesus) and the Holy Spirit who leads us. Today, I will write on the purpose of harnessing His wealth, why God wants us to harness His wealth here on earth.

The first point I would like to start with is to explain why we automatically become wealthy under the new creation. The reason anyone born of Jesus is wealthy is because Jesus is wealthy, it is that simple. The life we left had a lot of “drama” in it [if you know what I mean], the reason why that was so is that we inherited all that Adam became after leaving the Garden of Eden. Adam’s life rubbed off on us because we were his offspring, and the hoarding mindset was how he lived as he toiled to put food on the table which was different from the wonderful life he left in the Garden of Eden. But when you become born of Jesus, the life of Jesus becomes your life as you have His very Spirit, in other words, all that He is, is all we become, (ref.: 1 John 4:17). And since we have His very life in our Spirit, we can only harness this great life by our soul being renewed to know that Jesus is now our new life, and this is done by meditating on the word of God who tells us who we are, and the Holy Spirit interprets to us.

Now, what exactly is the reason why we need to harness His wealth? The reason why we need to harness His wealth is for us to understand that we are not here on earth as Sons and Daughters of God to seek for what has been given to us already—His wealth. The essence is for us to be focused on why we are here, the tool we find when we take our individual path.

The truth is that if we act like the people of the world who are eager to be rich, we will never use the tool to fulfill our purpose here on earth, because our time is occupied with doing everything to put food on the table, to be classy, to be rich no matter the level you want to put it.

Jesus made us understand this Matthew 6:33 which says, “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” He said earlier in verses 31 and 32 which says, “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ ₃₂For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.” The Gentiles are the people of the world. God made provision for everything you will ever need which is wrapped up in Christ Jesus, and it is just for you to focus on the purpose of your calling, which was why Jesus said we should focus on what we are born to do (that is after being born again). And as we follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, we would find out that all we ever need have been provided even before we got there.

And don’t think those things are shabby, they can’t be shabby because God isn’t shabby. He provides according to His standard which can’t be measured by human understanding.

If you are crying that nothing is working, it is because you are not doing what He called you to do. His wealth is being harnessed as we take the path He showed us, and we must be led by the Holy Spirit.

God loves us so much that He has provided for us His own wealth for us to enjoy, so why suffer in the world and be carried away by the luxury that fades, when you can harness the wealth that can never fade.

May the LORD bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you. May the LORD be gracious to you and lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. AMEN.

Harnessing His Wealth: Why You Found Your Path Without Seeing His Wealth

Hi everyone,

Now, you identified your path after following the map, you’re being led by the Holy Spirit who knows the path better than you do and is leading you. You’re not meant to lack but it appears you are as things seem so tough and hard for you, what could be wrong? This is my focus today, as we Harness His Wealth.

The answer to some general questions are most times personal. It is true that things could be tough as we walk through our path, but because we know we are being led by One who strengthens us from time to time, we don’t see the difficulties, and before we know it things start to become better for us. But when things don’t become better or it appears the same, then you’re not doing what King Solomon did in walking through his path. So, what did King Solomon do?

Yesterday, I quoted Proverbs 18:20 which says, “A man’s stomach shall be satisfied from the fruit of his mouth; from the produce of his lips he shall be satisfied.” And I said it means your wealth is linked with your true purpose here on earth, and if you miss this, you’d misinterpret wealth the way the world does. And to further explain what Solomon did using this verse, he identified his path and used it being led by God. We must understand that the wisdom King Solomon received was the map who in a much clearer view is the glorified Jesus [write-up for another day].

King Solomon didn’t just speak for the sake of speaking, knowing that his words were his personal linkage to his wealth, he spoke words of wisdom that added value to the lives of the listeners. Value is very important, people came from far and wide to listen to his words, and they didn’t come empty-handed, this was how his wealth came about. Wisdom is powerful, but where there is no value added, it is just like a vapour that passes away.

The words of Jesus were so powerful that people ministered unto Him, this enabled Him to accomplish what He came for, His true wealth. Yes, wealth differs according to purpose, but in the aspect of physical substance, you will have more than enough.

So, the person who has identified his path, but isn’t seeing anything isn’t adding value with the tool he has been given to work with. Man knows value when they see it, and when they see it they jump at it. Whatever the Holy Spirit (Spirit of Jesus) has made you discover as your path, you must take that path and allow Him to show you how to add value, this is very important because, sometimes we feel we can handle it on our own, and this also the reason we don’t see anything. God shows you your path through Jesus, the Holy Spirit leads you and gives you the power of impact [value]. Know this, what the Holy Spirit may tell you to do may not make sense humanly speaking, but He knows the end from the beginning, so just trust Him, He is NEVER wrong.

Another thing we must know is that why would God show you your path and make you suffer, he knows without food you cannot survive, so He would provide food, clothing, shelter and every other necessary things you need for His name to be glorified.

We must be patient, some of us aren’t patient. The only time you can back out from His path for you is when you’ve taken His path for you and it failed clearly, then you are free to do whatever you please, but have you followed His path?

In achieving His purpose for your life He has given you abundant wealth. Many of us look at it only from the Spiritual side and don’t key into how He has shown us how to harness His wealth physically, it is not money I am referring to, as many of us in trying to harness the wealth have been carried away, and we harness wealth the way of the world. We may see physical wealth and be happy, but is it the wealth He has ordained for you? He will never give you little to lose focus on Him, neither will He give you too much and miss your way. He will always give you what you need, actually, He did before we got there. Log on tomorrow as I expand on the purpose in harnessing His wealth.

Harnessing His Wealth: Finding Your Path To His Wealth

Hello everyone,

Last time I wrote on wealth reorientation, which explains how the attainment of wealth is not a do or die affair. I also wrote that God gave us the fullness of wealth in the person of Jesus Christ, and when you receive Him as Lord by being born again, you’re automatically born into wealth. Then I made us understand that God gave every one of us the wealth that is unique to each person, and in finding this wealth we need to identify the path carved out for us, which is the path that manifests the wealth God has given us through Christ Jesus.

As I said yesterday, to attain wealth His way has nothing to do with hoarding. I also said hard work isn’t a workload place over our head literally or figuratively. Hard work means being committed to a thing and being consistent in those things, which brings about patience.

In identifying the path carved out for each person, it requires true hard work. But how can we identify this by ourselves? This is because, if we go out to identify our path by ourselves, we end the way the world is running and wealth is misunderstood.

The popular verse in Zechariah 4:6 says, not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit says the LORD, and this is not a cliché because, in attaining the path to wealth, we need someone who knows the way without guessing, and God did that by giving us His Holy Spirit who is to lead, direct and strengthen us all the way through. But one thing we need to know is that you need to study the map before it is interpreted, and it is the job of the Holy Spirit to interpret. He is not the map, the scripture is the map. But we need to know what we are looking for in the map (Bible) so that we don’t get lost. And I have made it clear that Jesus is our wealth, therefore, we need to look for Jesus in every scripture, while the Holy Spirit interprets for us.

King Solomon was made a King in his youth, but he needed to know how to rule, then he sorts God, and he asked for the map (wisdom). It was because he asked for wisdom that God said he would find his treasure that is he would be wealthy. The wealth didn’t just fall from the sky, neither did they appear in his wardrobes, but he used the map to find his path that led him to his wealth.

For Jesus, He often went to the mountain to where He got the map and He went through it and was led by the Holy Spirit who showed Him His path that led Him to His wealth.

King Solomon wrote in Proverbs 18:20 that, “A man’s stomach shall be satisfied from the fruit of his mouth; from the produce of his lips he shall be satisfied.” What does this mean? It means there is a purpose to your wealth, in other words, you can only find your wealth when you have identified your true purpose here on earth. If you follow a wrong path because it seems to be the rave of the moment and it isn’t your path, you would toil like Adam outside the Garden of Eden. But, you cannot find your true purpose by yourself, you need to know Jesus who reveals Himself in you thus showing you the path you are to take in life, and the Holy Spirit guiding you all the way, and you’ll find out how the wealth comes not by your might or power, but by His Spirit. And this is also achieved through commitment and consistency—one step at a time. You will never lack in your life, all that you ever need in your life would be given to you with much more to spare.

Now, a question could pop up which is that some have identified their pathway, but aren’t seeing any wealth even while taking the path. To answer that question, log on tomorrow, and I would clear that question up for you.
