Your Most Trusted Friend

Happy Sunday everyone,

Walking with God is something so amazing because you get to learn something new every time. As humans, we all have five senses, but when walking with God, these senses limit us that we need to get to a higher level beyond the senses of Man, what do I mean by this? As Sons of God, we have God Himself living in us, thus understanding the fullness of Christ in us. God is limitless, and His powers and abilities are things incomprehensible by our senses. For instance, can you understand someone not having a beginning, who has always been existing from eternity to eternity? It is too impossible to comprehend. Just as Colossians 3 asks us to set our minds on things above and not on this earth, it goes to show that our level walking with the resurrected Jesus surpasses that of Man in every ramification. Also, the scriptures tell us that the word of God was a mystery until Christ came, and isn’t a mystery to those who received Christ into their lives. Thus, there is a level we are to attain which is beyond us here, beyond the words spoken here, that which allows us to grow deeper as leave the way of the world.

Romans 8:26 says, “Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.” The use of the word weaknesses doesn’t necessarily mean we are tired and worn out, but it means we communicate to God based on our five senses which we are used to but is limiting because there is a language of the Spirit which is pure and undefiled, which the human language doesn’t have and cannot attain. But as you walk closely with the Holy Spirit, He helps make intercessions for you, because we truly don’t know what we ought to pray for, and that is the truth. If you see God right now, your prayer life would change immediately because you would understand you have been underrating God’s abilities. This is why the Holy Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God which is very important.

So draw close to God and He would draw close to you.

May the LORD bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you. May the LORD be gracious to you and lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. AMEN.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!
