The Deadly Package

Hello everyone,

Last time, I wrote on the second package, first of all, I’ll explain in a bit what the first package is which we received from God through Grace. The first package clearly is Jesus and what He contains as He lives in us. However, the second package opposes what the first package is, and we must be careful of what it contains. The second package clearly is sin. Now, many of us feel sin is the same as the works of the flesh such as jealousy, lying, theft, murder, and others, what they don’t know is that that isn’t sin. Sin is a spirit which Jesus wiped off everyone on earth and became manifested in the Spirit of anyone who received Jesus as Lord of their life, but the works of the flesh for a Son of God cannot manifest unless they came from a source, and this source has been hunting us over and over again. Those who aren’t strong are the ones who fall and manifest the works of the flesh. These sources are what Apostle Paul asked us to wrestle against in Ephesians 6:12. Remember, Jesus has won the battle, we are to fight from what He has done. So, what is or may I say are these source contained in the package of sin? Let’s find out.

In the simplest of terms, these sources are fear, worry, and doubt or unbelief. They appear so innocent, but what we must know is that falling prey to these evil geniuses has led to the downfall of many Sons of God, and is the reason why we haven’t manifested the fullness of Christ physically, even though some would say that would happen on the last day, and who told you so, (story for another day). Fear, worry, and doubt are the opposite of Faith, Christ’s assurance, and Belief which we are to function in as we grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, but fear, worry, and doubt can slow us from growing in grace.

Faith is accepting all that God has given us, by Grace as true and existing without necessarily seeing it first physically, whereas fear appears where you were to accept what God said He has given you, but you rejected it, it could be a little thing, but instead of faith to play its game there, fear came in.

Christ’s assurance implies that God has taken care of all our needs, and He will never leave us nor forsake us, thus giving us the assurance of a future He has taken care of, whereas worry comes by you anticipating the future by yourself without any assurance that that would happen, thus not being sure that it would actually happen which could bring about panic and negative emotions because you don’t know the future.

Belief is what we used to become Sons of God, thus resting on what God/Jesus said would happen, it is also what we use when we walk by faith or walk with God and accept what the Holy Spirit tells us, whereas doubt or unbelief gives room for questioning just in case what was placed before us is wrong, creating an avenue of lack of trust, and not resting on the word of God.

Fear, worry, and doubt are the greatest hindrances we have as Sons of God, and they are what sin brings to our table as we walk with God, this is why meditating on the word of God is very important because it strengthens our faith, belief and His assurance to us in our lives. When we keep receiving food that contains fear, worry, and doubt, such as what we read, watch on television, the type of music we listen to, the people we interact with, and dwell on it rather than fleeing the place and find abode in the word of God, it is then that the works of the flesh start to manifest in the life of a Son of God.

We would see in the words of Jesus almost every time a miracle took place, that He said, “Be it according to your faith.” God has given us everything we would ever need in our lives, but if you don’t allow the Holy Spirit guide you in your study of the scriptures you won’t allow what has been given to you manifest, you open the door of the sin package to start making suggestions to you. We must remain active and alert that we don’t fall prey of the evil one.

The summary of the whole thing is what we thought we were to watch out for isn’t as serious as watching out for fear, worry, and doubt, because they are very tricky and sly. Make sure you put on the whole armour of God and be on the alert, and you will manifest the fullness of Christ in your life and not the sin package.

May the LORD bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you. May the LORD be gracious to you and lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. AMEN.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!
