All Things Really Work Together For Your Good?

Happy New Week everyone,

To live a perfect life is only found when you walk with God, however, there are sacrifices you have to make, but they are sacrifices you’ll be grateful to God you made eventually. Romans 8:28 says, “And we know that all things work together for the good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” So, who are those who love God, because that seems to be the criterion for all things to work together for good for you?

The truth is that you cannot claim to love God because loving God really is becoming Him by not having any life but Him, which we have as Sons of God. But what to love God really is to receive His love first, for we never knew what love is till we received Jesus into our heart and we then understood that love is a person and is the person we received into our hearts. So, showing that you love God is to receive Him into your heart or life, and this is also because it is by grace and not of works to love God. So, if loving God had to come first from you, it would be of works and not grace which we wouldn’t even attain.

Being called according to the purpose of God has to do with receiving and walking with the Holy Spirit, who reveals your purpose and guides your every path because He is the Spirit of Truth and God. So, by receiving Jesus into your heart is loving God, and walking with the Holy Spirit is being called according to the His purpose, this is when all things work together for your good.

Romans 8:26 tells us how the Holy Spirit intercedes on our behalf beyond our imagination, and Romans 8:27 tells us how the Holy Spirit knowing what exactly to intercede for had searched our heart and known how to present our request before Him according to His will. It is there and then that all things then work for the good to those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. It all boils down to walking closely with Jesus Himself through the Holy Spirit, and even though He asks you to do certain things which may appear as sacrificial, you would see that it all turned out for your good and fulfilling the purpose of God.

May the LORD bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you. May the LORD be gracious to you and lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. AMEN.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!
