To Be Synced (Part 2)

Last time I explained how Christ is synced with God and as such God has given us the Grace to be synced with Him through His Son Jesus. Today I intend to continue from where I stopped.

To also buttress my point from the last blog, if TRUE Believers don’t have the same Spirit with Christ, then why did 1 John 4:17 say, “In this [union and communion with Him] love is brought to completion and attains perfection with us, that we may have confidence for the day of judgement [with assurance and boldness to face Him], because as He is, so are we in this world.” AMP. Apostle Paul also said in the popular Ephesians prayer in Ephesians 1:17-21, my focus being on verse 19 which says, “And [so that you can know and understand] what is the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His power in and for us who believe, as demonstrated in the working of His mighty strength,…” AMP. He explained further power in and for us is the same power God used in raising Jesus from the dead and is the same power that Jesus has which is above every principalities, powers and every name in heaven, on earth and under the earth.

To further understand that TRUE Believers are synced with Christ, Jesus Himself said He is the vine and we are the branches. Already this is clear enough to understand that the branches depend on the vine for nourishment, and whatever happens to the vine affects the branches [ref. John 15:1-8]. Jesus says He is head and we are the body, this is another reason to understand that TRUE Believers are synced with Christ. I could go on and on to prove how we are synced with Christ, but the question now is, if we are truly synced with Christ, then why can’t we see the clear similarities between the Believer and Christ (well, some Believers), just the way we saw between Christ and God? The answer is very simple!

As I said the answer is very simple, the answer is that they don’t know who they are, or they were told and didn’t believe; in other words, they don’t know who their Father is! The moment you become a Believer, the Man in your house ceases to be Father. The Fatherhood changes, God becomes your Father. Jesus proved when He was in the temple having a deep conversation with scholars over the scriptures, really about God. When His found Him what did He say in Luke 2:49, “Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s business?” He knew who His Father was, He understood that it wasn’t Joseph. Although you might argue that Jesus was born of the Spirit of God from the beginning so it doesn’t apply to you. This is where you are faulted. What do you think happened to you when you were born again? You dropped your old nature and embraced the new nature of Christ! That is you became as Jesus who knew who His Father was and is.

If you fail to know who your true Father is then you will keep asking why you don’t look like Jesus. To be synced with Jesus is to study your new life that is, who you truly are now, in the Spirit, which when properly understood reflects in your physical life. You need to study and meditate on the scriptures, which is the Bible, the only book which tells you the truth of your born again life. But you understand that in studying and meditating on the scriptures, you must focus only on one thing, actually a person-Jesus! Why? You are now synced with Him so as you study who He is now after His resurrection, you then know who you truly are. This is why you confess things such as, “As Christ is so am I in this world” [ref. 1 John 4:17]. Or “I’m seated with Christ in heavenly realms” [ref. Ephesians 2:6], even while here on earth. It is just because you are synced with Him!

Remember, the bible says as a new creation, you are now joint heirs with Christ [ref. Romans 8:17]. As you keep reminding yourself that you are synced with Christ, you manifest the Christlike life. This is why and how you become and are called the Son of God.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!
