What is the Prayer of Supplication? (Part 2)

Hello everyone, trust your day is going great,

Today is a continuation from yesterday’s blog post: What is the Prayer of Supplication (Part 1). How, do we pray the prayer of supplication even being under the new creation? Apostle Paul said we are to supplicate in the Spirit, where I said one way is to speak in tongues. And to speak in tongues is to allow your renewed Spirit to communicate to God without any interference from the physical tongue which is still being renewed.

Yesterday, I said speaking in tongues is one way of supplicating in the Spirit, so what are other ways? Another way is through praise and worship, surprised? This shouldn’t surprise you because to supplicate implies to humbly request for a thing, and God is the One you are requesting from.

Now, we must not forget that Jesus is the answer to every one of our requests, and He has been given to us. The word of God asks us to live and walk by faith, and remember hope is something we intend to get, while faith is receiving or accepting what God has provided, which is to accept the answer to what we have been crying for, and Jesus is the answer. Thus, in order to walk in the level God has placed us in the new creation, we are to praise and worship God, therefore, what we are saying is that what we would have supplicated for has been answered. And praises and worship strengthens our faith and chases away the devil. This is another way to pray the prayer of supplication.

Jesus made us understand that all that we need, our Father in heaven already know that we need them and has provided for them, so, this is why we need to see with the eyes of God in order to allow our hope to become a prayer answered, and this through faith through our Lord Jesus Christ.

However, there are reasons, we cry to the Lord through the prayer of supplication, and this could come about when we go through serious trials in life. Even though Jesus is the answer, sometimes we need to be strengthened to see with the eyes of God, especially because our minds are still being transformed, and the devil is attacking seriously. So, even with this, how do we supplicate properly?

In order not to go amiss who God has made us, we supplicate standing on the word of God, thus pointing to the areas that assure who we are right now in the Spirit. And even though it could feel like hell, the Holy Spirit strengthens us to go on, as we keep confessing the word on and on till we are assured we have it, and once this is so, we switch to praises, worship, and thanksgiving.

We are not to cry to God to provide what He has already provided, such as healing, financial breakthrough and other similar things. How we are to ask with humility is to stand on what He said He has provided for us, this is the true humility, because, we didn’t want to pay attention to the trials we are going, rather we decided, God has done it [and not will do it], and we need to be strengthened all the more to keep on seeing with His eyes. This is how we supplicate in the new covenant, everything is by faith.

Now, how do we supplicate for other saints as Apostle Paul asked us to? Find out how tomorrow same time.

May the LORD bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you. May the LORD be gracious to you and lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. AMEN.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!
