Is Faith a Process?

Happy Weekend everyone,

There are times in our lives where we claim to have faith, but it appears nothing seems to be happening. It could be quite annoying because we think faith is futuristic, and we wonder why things delay. The truth is that faith itself is "now" but the manifestation in our lives may not be immediate, and why is that? It is because we delay things to manifest and not faith itself.

One thing we need to understand is that when we need something and we declare it through the scriptures, we don’t need to force what we declared to come to pass, actually, that is very stressful to us. Faith is supposed to the natural, in other words, it has to be our nature. As I said in my past blog, we all have faith as human-beings, but the moment we become Christ like beings we live using the faith of Christ.

When the Bible says, “The just shall live by faith” [ref.: Habakkuk 2:4; Romans 1:17; Galatians 3:11; Hebrews 10:38], it doesn’t mean we should try to live another person’s life, what it means is that we are to live our lives! Surprising right? So what is our life or better still, who is our life? Jesus is our life [ref.: Colossians 3:4]. So the truth is that as we speak, we put things into motion immediately, but most times we don’t get to see it immediately so we think nothing is happening. The power you possess the moment you become Christ-like is just a confirmation on things that are already done by the grace of God through Jesus, it is not something we need to work for, but just to believe.

Now, the issue why we don’t see the manifestation of things immediately could fall into two reasons which are: there is an appointed time for that thing to manifest, or second, have a doubt which prevents the manifestation of what has already been done. But there is a solution, which is that we don’t need to declare with so much intensity as if we are afraid it never existed. What we just need to do is for our senses to perceive the right thing every time (meditation), with time when our senses are used to perceiving the right thing, we live the right life, it’s as simple as that, and not a life of force.

For instance, if a person has a health issue, he needs to understand his infirmities and diseases were nailed to the cross, and Jesus gave him His life. From this point, all he would do is just to declare the truth which is that by the stripes of Jesus is was made healed, and other related scriptures. Now, some times, the body may not completely believe this, this is why the person doesn’t get transformed. But as he keeps saying it or he keeps hearing it over and over again, eventually, his body gets to conform to what is being said and then he gets transformed. But that was not when the healing was made available, it had been available since the resurrection of Jesus, all we or that person had to do was just to believe [ref.: Philippians 4:8 AMP].

May the LORD bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you. May the LORD be gracious to you and lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. AMEN.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!
