And The Love Story Began

Really, why did He have to come into the world?

The action of God deciding to come as man,  born with no innate knowledge of human understanding at birth is a huge risk, what if it fails? This cannot but be what 1 John 4:8 says about God. God is love, so God loving mankind isn't His choice but an expression of His existence, He was just being Himself. It's wasn't a choice.

God created us in love. He expressed Himself in the creation of man. He loved and still loves us so much that He sent His only begotten Son into the world, who Himself is the express image of God (ref.: John 3:16; Colossians 1:15).

Man chose the wrong path and was led astray living a dead life. God chose to enter into the dead life, even though being alive within the dead life, to save all of humanity, all because of His love. Don't forget, love is His nature.

Christmas depicts the beginning of the great love story on His quest in redeeming humanity which He eventually did.

God has placed His word above His name (ref.: Psalm 138:2), and cannot go against it. So, the way He could save man was to be born as a baby who would grow up and then redeem man. It could only be love.

Christmas is an expression of God's love towards humanity. Peace on earth, God and man being reconciled as one Spirit. Without Christmas there won't be the hope of redemption and the eventual redemption. It's a time to give God praise and thanksgiving for choosing to be born. It's a love story.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!
