Revelation and Confession

Last time I wrote on Confession, Creation and Manifestation. Our confessions are the creative abilities God gave us because we were made in image and likeness of God. Our confessions creates, and through consistent confession, it leads to manifestation.

Today, I want to look closer at a confession.

As a Son or Daughter of God, to confess isn't by natural instinct, but by the revelation from the word of God, by the Holy Spirit.

Romans 10:17 says "So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." Faith comes through the revelation of the word of God. Let me explain further. Many people have heard the word the God, but nothing happened. It is only when the person receives revelation that faith gets in. In other words, revelation open door for faith to come in.

Romans 10:9 says, "that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."

In the verse above, there was first confession before belief. What this mean is that for a person to make a confession that leads to belief implies the person received revelation to confess Jesus, and the confession through revelation opens the door to activate faith which allows the person to believe.

Whenever anyone makes a confession that isn't based on revelation, faith isn't birthed, therefore there won't be belief. And revelation is gotten from the Holy Spirit after receiving the word of God into our heart. You cannot force revelation to come, but you can be committed and consistent in the word which opens the door for revelation to flow in easily.

Do not forget, confession with power is founded on the revelation from Jesus.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!
