The Amazing Love of The Father

You know, when Jesus said in Matthew 6 that we shouldn't worry, and when He said in Matthew 11 that all who are burdened and heavy laden should come to Him, He was simply expressing the amazing love of the Father towards us.

Many times we get so worried about how we've done wrong, of course it's not right to do wrong, but there is a love that is so powerful that makes you not do wrong, and it is the amazing love of the Father.

Jesus in John 3:16 said, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." God so loved the world, why the emphasis on how much God loves us, it is because we never deserved His love. The Bible says in Romans 5:8, "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."

We were condemned because our very nature was sin, not just in action, but the Spirit we carried. We were to be wiped off by God, but God's love was so strong that He ensured we were saved. And the only way to be saved was through the shedding of blood to redeem us. And no one was worthy, because we were all in sin. This was why God came in the person of Jesus the Christ, the only one without the sin nature, pure in the sight of God. He bore all the wrath that would have be fallen us, and He in return gave us His righteousness.

2 Corinthians 5:21 says, "For God made the only one who did not know sin to become sin for us, so that we who did not know righteousness might become the righteousness of God through our union with him." TPT. This is an act of the amazing love of God.

The love of God is so strong that He took us from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of His dear Son, (ref.: Colossians 1:13). In order to experience His kingdom, He made us one with Him, (ref. Romans 8:17).

Colossians 2:9-10 says, "For in Him the whole fullness of Deity (the Godhead) continues to dwell in bodily form [giving complete expression of the divine nature]. ¹⁰And you are in Him, made full and having come to fullness of life [in Christ you too are filled with the Godhead–Father, Son and Holy Spirit–and reach full spiritual stature]. And He is the Head of all rule and authority [of every angelic principality and power]." AMPC. The is so amazing, every who believed in Jesus, and went ahead to receive His as Lord has the full Godhead dwelling in them, that is the height of love.

2 Peter 1:3 says, "Everything we could ever need for life and godliness has already been deposited in us by his divine power. For all this was lavished upon us through the rich experience of knowing him who has called us by name and invited us to come to him through a glorious manifestation of his goodness." TPT.

Everything we would ever need for life and godliness came with the full package of His love when received His full Godhead.

We could still say we commit sin, but guys, Jesus dealt with sin ONCE AND FOR ALL, (ref. Hebrews 10:2,3,4,10,12,13&14). Any consciousness of sin is an act of ignorance of who your new nature is, which is the nature of Jesus Christ. The scriptures also makes us understand that love covers sin, and this was expressed by God. And it is when you are aware of the love God expressed to you, to save you, that would bring out the nature of God which you have received to the outside, and you see the acts of physical sinful acts dying in your daily activities.

I can't express His love enough, because it is eternal, and we can never get to the depth of how much He loves us.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!
