Understanding His Love Towards Us

Hi everyone,

In many cases, we tend to be impatient when we pray for something that is really bothering us. And then someone comes to tell you that all that you’ve been praying for has been answered, and you’re bothered why you’ve not seen it, and since you can’t see it, you then go back to pray by asking for what has been given to you, maybe you did ask properly, didn’t sing the right song of praise to God, or didn’t fast when others did, all these causes worry in your heart. And this is what Jesus saw in the desperate nature of man when He spoke on the mountain in the Gospel of Matthew chapter 6 in reference to verses 25-34, where He asked us not to worry.

Jesus asked us not to worry that God knows all that we seek even before we asked Him, (ref.: Matthew 6:32). And God loves us beyond human comprehension, (ref.: Matthew 7:9-11). So, with all these, why don’t we see the miracles immediately, and a sick person suffers continuously, and someone says the sick person has a loving Father? Or the one who after all his hard work loses his job, his bank account blinks red, and he has mouths to feed, but he pays his tithes and offering regularly. What could be wrong? If I didn’t go through things similar to all these, it won’t dim fit to tell you what is wrong.

The one issue is that we don’t yet understand properly that God loves us. We may argue this, but I tell you, the more you understand how much God loves you, you see yourself worrying less, and you have a proper relationship with God, and how you talk to Him. You see what He said He has given us manifest quicker than we expected, like the area of health. Take the healing ministry of Jesus while He was here on earth. Everyone, He touched got their healing instantly, why is yours different? You need to believe and know that He loves you more than before, and when He said we are healed then we are healed.

Let me make it clearer for you. We often look at our bodies to see the physical transformation right? But that is wrong because it is not what we are to focus on. And in understanding the love God has for us, we would carefully see that He gave us a new life to save us. I don’t think you got that. Our bodies reflect the old life we left that is under the kingdom of darkness. But in order to see the love and grace manifest physically, get to know the One who carries the new life, by fixing your eyes on Him and not your body. This is because He and not your body is the new life.

Fix your eyes on His perfection, health, wealth, success, His life, because in Him is the result of all we hoped for. So, when you understand how much He loves to do all this for you by fixing your eyes on Him, your mind is renewed, and your body is transformed into His body, but it is a gradual process. This is where we see healing, a financial breakthrough. But take note, it wasn’t your old body that got the healing or financial breakthrough, or any other miracle. What really happens is that your body gets transformed into His body in that area of renewal of your mind, this is what Romans 12:2 means. You just have to be patient and be committed to the renewal of your mind by knowing how much He loves you through the meditation of His word and allowing the Holy Spirit to lead you through His love and this where you find out the true love story.

May the LORD bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you. May the LORD be gracious to you and lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. AMEN.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!
