Your Lifestyle In CHRIST is a Great Form of Evangelism

We all have a lifestyle to which we are known for to the point where when a person narrates an event you actually didn’t do, your parents or those close to you would quickly say, “nope, that’s not my son”. How did they know that? It’s your lifestyle; your attitude! This is different from an acting scene involving you. The role you pick is not your true lifestyle; this is similar to religion. For religion, you are just acting a script that is not you. But the believer is expected to have a lifestyle of Christ.

The believers’ life is not a life of pretence but an expression of their true self which is the life of Christ. This is an important aspect for the believer because many times we pick dates for evangelism in our church groups and think it is when you have an official outing that you get people converted to Christ. This is not entirely so; it is your lifestyle that is the most important aspect of evangelism. This is called: living the gospel.

People see your life as you gospel affects your life in a grace filled way. This is what makes people come and ask you what you do that makes you so prosperous. This is when you tell about Jesus and how He has transformed your life. People like to see things first hand before they go for it or not. You are to living the Word and after that share it. Your lifestyle draws people to Christ even without saying a word.

The life of Jesus was a natural lifestyle of God that when He spoke people wondered how He could live a life with such great knowledge of God. His lifestyle drew people to Him. This was the same for the early believers and that’s why they were called Christians [ref. Acts 11:26]. Going for evangelism is wonderful but what you are talking about is expected to be your life. God put His nature in the heart of the believer, that’s why we are to act just like Him [Hebrews 8:10-11]. God made things so easy for us because of His love for us and this is the gospel truth.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!
