Light At The End Of The Tunnel

You must have noticed how I keep talking about how we need to focus on Christ like it’s a child’s play. There are challenges that are beyond expression: you have a wife and children and you came home one day after a hard day’s work only to get a notice of being asked to vacate your home within 24 hours just because you couldn’t pay the rent. Where was God when you prayed everyday for financial provision? And now your worst nightmare has hit you like a baseball bat. You are a single mother who has a sick daughter, you prayed day and night for your daughter’s recovery but she eventually died. Where was God when this woman needed Him? All these and more difficult cases are faced everyday but is God really answering prayers at all?

The bible says in Romans 8:28, “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose”. The bible didn’t say that only good things happen to those who love God, what it says is “all things work together for good” this implies no matter the challenge you find yourself in, it would eventually turn out to be for good.

We must also know that God doesn’t make people sick or have challenges, this is not in line with God at all, because the bible says in Ephesians 1:3 that God has blessed us with every spiritual blessing. And spiritual blessings include physical blessings. In Matthew 6:32-33 says God knows all the things we need and has provided them with grace. God blesses and doesn’t curse because of the new dispensation of resurrection of Jesus Christ.

The point we have to understand is that the devil places challenges on us, but what the devil fails to understand is that no matter the state of where you are, once you turn to the Lord, He takes you from where you are to the point of your victory. The bible says in Psalm 23:4, even though you walk through the valley of the shadow of death, you will fear no evil, because the Lord is with you.

You may be facing challenges at the moment, but just remember that once you place it in the hand of God there is light at the end of the tunnel. The devil might have caused a lot of problems for you, don’t give up on God. The devil doesn’t want you to look at the face of Christ, He uses challenges so that you will take your face of Christ and focus on your pain. It may be painful, but once you focus on Christ, I promise you that no matter what you have faced would eventually lead to you victory because Christ has already given us the victory we want, we just need to hold on.

The children of Israel wanted to conquer Jericho, God told Joshua the end of the story by telling him He has given Jericho into their hand. No matter the challenge you face just know that the end of the story is for the greater good. All things work together for you good when you hold on to God and this is the gospel truth.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!
