Meditation Is Key

Our being is comprised of the spirit, the soul and the body. As was explained yesterday, the former spirit we left left our soul and body polluted, however the source of our pollution is gone. There is the need to be transformed through the Holy Spirit dwelling in us.

When we take out time every day and night to praise God and meditate on the scriptures then it shifts our mind to living the new life. We need to know the motive behind praising God and meditating on the scriptures. With this we live exactly how God wants us to.

What should our motive be? Our motive when praising God and meditating on the scriptures should be seeking a deeper relationship with God that is, always looking for what He has already done.

When we praise God, we praise Him for His love and mercy and grace towards us and how great He is and how He governs the universe and so on. And when we meditate on the scriptures, our focus should be on seeing God’s grace in every scripture, what God did for us through Jesus. By this we are looking unto Jesus and our focus is keened on Him.

The Holy Spirit allows the soul get used to being focused on Jesus because it is our new life. And whatever the soul does, the body follows suit. The process is easier than this explanation because the Holy Spirit Himself will guide us throughout the journey, telling us how to live our life. It’s all because of His love for us and this is the gospel truth.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!
