Just Trust the Process

Have you ever thought of taking note of all the experiences you face daily? Well, I know many keep diaries. But when you go through them, it is filled with adventures and faith or the need to apply faith, especially when you're a Son or Daughter of God.

As Sons and Daughters of God, we are to understand our true nature in Christ. That is, we must understand that we have become all that Jesus is. And that everything that we would ever need in our lives, the Lord Jesus has provided for us through His resurrection. All we need to do is believe.

When we experience situations such as health issues, we remind ourselves of scriptures that fall in line with the finished works of Christ Jesus. We keep confessing those scriptures to strengthen who we are, and where we stand. And eventually, we experience the healing that was ours in the first place, no emergency right?

But then again, there are emergency cases, a financial case where a person's rent is due and the landlord is putting out the person's things, or other bills that should be paid. At times, even though we know the word is true, we don't see it as a place to run to in this case. We may feel our faith isn't strong enough to confess and see results due to panic in the heart. In this case, what should we do? Just trust the process.

What process do I mean? The process of complete rest in Christ no matter what we face. The reason why we think confessing the word won't work is because we think we don't have enough faith, and nothing would happen with the lack of faith.

But Christ has given us victory over the situation even before we got into it. We just need to think of Him and not ourselves. We need to remember that He loves us more than we even love ourselves. If we would get someone out of the mess we are in, God would do even much more (ref.: Matthew 7:7-11; Luke 11:9-13). It is not about us but about Him. There is nothing too big that He hasn't handled already.

Even when Peter doubted when he walked on the sea and began sinking, Jesus reached out to him to save him, as he cried out to Jesus. This shows the great love Jesus has towards us despite our shortcomings in a state of emergency (ref. Matthew 14:27-32).

Ephesians 3:20 makes us understand that the fullness of God's power is on the inside of us, but it is left to us to release it to whatever portion we want to through faith. And the way we can release it by faith is to look at Him and not us. This allows Him to manifest in whatever situation we are going through. This is faith because it is our positive response that God has already done it. We walk by faith, not by sight (ref.: 2 Corinthians 5:7).

Just trust the process, because He will never leave us nor forsake us no matter what. It's all about Him, and not us. By remembering this and knowing that He has done it all, we confess Him to our emergency situation, and we see Him/His word take charge in our situations. Just trust the process.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!
