Yes, you became a Son or Daughter of God and were filled with the Holy Spirit. By this, you could function with the auction of the Holy Spirit.
Now, one thing we must always remember is that the Holy Spirit speaks in line with the word of God. He never speaks in isolation to the word of God.
Now, as a Son or Daughter of God, the Lord God will place in your heart what He needs you to do here on earth. In the meditation on the word, you receive a revelation of the word which serves as a light unto your path in fulfilling what He has placed in your heart. The Holy Spirit shows you how to go about it through His leadership.
The Holy Spirit cannot force you to go about what He has asked you to do. It is left to you to make the decision yourself.
Your trust and belief are the only reason why what He asked you to do will be a success or not. The question now is, do you really trust God?
The question sounds funny, right? But my reason for saying this is that some of the things the Lord may ask you to do might not make logical sense. But if you knew it was God who asked you to do it, then why doubt or procrastinate?
Jesus said in Luke 9:62, "But Jesus said to him, “No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.” The Message Bible puts it thus, "Jesus said, “No procrastination. No backward looks. You can’t put God’s kingdom off till tomorrow. Seize the day.” MSG.
You don't have any excuse as to why you don't want to carry out God's assignment for your life. Is it what people would say? Your friends or family?
Jesus again said in Luke 14:26, "If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple." What Jesus means by this is that in life, there is someone or something that you put as the highest level of respect and reverence. If it isn't Jesus, then you're not ready to be His disciple, or else excuses become the order of the day to the work of the Lord, whatever it is.
A lack of trust can cause stagnation, so don't ask questions if you're not moving forward. Do you trust the Lord? If you do get up and keep your eyes on Him and Him alone, you'll feel peace like never before.
Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t? Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!
